"I'm calling it Crest because the guy who gave me it asked me too." he replied. "According to him its the egg of his chao and a rabbit named Cream's chao." he shrugged. "It's supposed to come out as a metallic grey chao." He looked at them slightly nervously. "To hatch it I just wait right?" They both nodded. He placed the chao drives down on the table then began to flick through the booklet. "Hmmmm......cool."

"Ok then suit yourself, anyway I have to put Mystico to bed and read him a bedtime story" Amy explained. She picked Mystico up and then opened the door to the halland stairs. She walked up them and then entered her room. Mystico had a bed that fixed onto the side wall next to Amy's bed. Amy pulled back the small blue covers and then placed Mystico in. She thne pulled the covers over Mystico lightly. The hero chao snuggled his head deeply into the pillow. Amy sat on her bed. She watched Mystico for a while. "Where's my story?..I mean chao" Mystico yawned. Amy went to her bookcase and took out Mystico's favourite book, Adventures of Blubber the whale. Amy sat down again and opened the page to where the bookmark was. She began to read "Blubber swam through the oceans surrounded by all his whale friends. Many swam near him over him, under him and in front of him. A shark came from behind tem and swooped through the pack vioplently trying to break the baies from their mothers. The whales droned trying to stay together and not be threatened."

A few minutes later and Mystico was asleep. He had a tornado over his head signalling his slumber. Amy crept over to the bookshelf and then inserted the book back in its place. She then walked silently out not forgetting to turn off the lights.

When she got to the living room, Sabre had shut down and was slumped on the sofa. Quazon was curled up on Spear's lap. Spear was awake however. Amy sat down carefully and picked up a magizine. Spear noticed her arrival. "Is Mystico asleep?" He asked. Amy nodded, still looking at her book. "I'm off to bed Amy, the guest bedroom is next to ypours isn't it?" Spear queried getting up and holding Quazon softly."Yep" Spear the exited the room and then walked up the stairs. He saw Amy's room in front of him and took the door next to it. He walked in. It was of adequate size. There was a normal bed in the middle with a few chests of drawers scattered around the perimeter of the room. Spear put Quazon in his bed while he got his shirt off. He unbuttoned it and then hung it up on a coathanger hanging on the wardrobe handles. He kicked his shoes off and then set them next to the bed. His hands travelled round the back of his neck to take off his chain. That went in one of his shirts pockets. Spear threw back the covers then crawled into bed. He pulled them over himand then pulled Quazon close.He smiled warmly at the sleeping Quazon before closing his eyes and attempting to fall into sleep.

One of Sabre's optic sensors glowed very faintly as he watched the egg. He was waiting for it to hatch. He had no idea how long it would take. He sighed before firing a movemnt sensors onto the egg so if it started to hatch he would wake up. He then shut down again and waited.

Meanwhile the blue hedgehog was sitting in his lab studying a new chao breed that had been brought in. It semmed to be a mixture of a chaos devil and chaos angel chao. It had the horns of a chaos devil chao and the bunny rabbit ears of the chaos angel chao. It's scolour were also very unusual. It was Black with white stripes on it and it's hands were green gems. He stared at it. It had been brought in by a strange man. He had said he had yused science to clone the dna of two chaos chao and exchanged it with the dna of the unborn chao to make this chao. If this was the truth then......an owner could decide what there chao would be before it hatched.

Amy yawned. She was not used to staying up late.She looked up at the clock. "It 5 past 10" She said to herself. She got off the armchair and then went back upstairs. It was a standard September night. She opened the door and found Mystico sitting up in bed. Amy walked over to him. Mystico's eyes were half-shut. He had insomnia like Amy, waking up several times. Amy set him in bed again.. She looked up at her calender. Days were scribbled on. On 15th September it had the words "My birthday" written on it. She smirked. 4 more days now. She then got changed hinto her nightclothes. She slipped into bed and laid down. The girl made mind-patterns on the ceiling of her poster bed.She hadn't realised that she had fallen asleep soon after.

In the morning the machine reactivated and looked at the egg. It was shaking. He looked at it then the book on how to raise chao. It said it was close to hatching. He stared at it and grabbed some of the chao drives so he was ready to give it to the chao when it hatched. Suddenly cracks began to form in the egg. Then some of the pieces fell off. Suddenly the top popped off and a metallic grey chaos head was revealed. He walked over and carefully lifted it out of the egg and handed it a chao drive. It looked at it with a ? above it's head then grabbed it and drunk the liquid. A heart appeared above it's head then he handed him the other ones. One at a time. The chao drunk the liquid substances within the chao drives and then began to run around. He smiled and lifted it up and gently hugged it before petting it.

"Hey Crest.......your quite a speedy littel feller. I guess it's the green chao drives that did it." he said with a chuckle. "Nowi wonder what gender you are. Scanning........." he scanned the chao. "Subject Name: Crest Gender: Female. Age:12 minutes 52 seconds. Run Lvl: 5 S, Power:0 B C, Fly:0 D, Swim:0 C, Stamina:0 B" He shrugged. "Female.....well I guess if i don't make it a chaos chao i could breed it with Mystico if Amy wants and only speed is leveled up by the green ones. I guess i'l; have to buy some more.....that hedgehog said Green riasses speed and speed needs to be highest to make a hedgehog chao though stamina won't effect it." he sighed. "And fruit raises stamina so i'll need to get some of that so Crest doesn't starve."

Amy came back down. She saw Sabre with his chao. She walked over. "Hey is that your chao?" She asked. Amy petted her slightly. "Crest the chao..sweet..is it male or female?"
"Female"
"Cool I guess."
Mystico pushed the door open with his lvl 99 strength and then dashed over to Amy, then proceeded with climbing her. He got to her knee. He then jumped onto her and gave her a morning hug. "Let's get you some fruit huh. I can get Crest some Chao Fruit aswell if ya want?" Amy walked into the kitchen then opened the left fridge door. Chao fruit were stacked on the top shelf. She got two out and then shut the door again. She walked over to Crest and then handed her a chao fruit. She gazed at it then gave it a lick. She then gave it small bites. Mystico jumped up wanting his eagerly. He tehn got it and began chomping big bites into the side."CHAO!" He said in delight.
"Ok Guess what..IT'S WII TIME!" Amy said enthusiastically. She turned on the Wii and then went to the game section. A gamecube game was set inside. "Let's play SONIC ADVENTURE 2 BATTLE AGAIN!" Amy said trying to get Mystico anjd Crest involved. Mystico had eaten his fruit then got the Wii controller pad and set it in front of his sitting form. "Heh I think Mystico is the only chao that can play a Wii" Amy laughed. Mystico pressed buttons to load the game data. It went to a screen. Mystico pressed the 'A' button and it went to story mode. Then Mystico went to the DARK STORY. He scrolled down the different boxes for the story and came to the Prison Island part. It was Eggman's level with 'Weapons Bed'. Mystico's tongue licked around his mouth as he navigated through the level to the end. The results were done. A pink 'A' was 'stamped onto the screen. Mystico did a victory dance around the table. Crest then joined him doing a train. Sabre just stood there watching them. Amy was laughing hysterically while Mystico led the train around the table with Crest holding Mystico's sides.
"heh" Sabre then sat down. "I hope Crest becomes a hedgehog chao soon"

Sabre smirked. "Hey Amy choose a wii game...." he whispered. "I'll beat you at it I bet." he looked through her games. "Heh and easily." He grabbed a wii mote and looked at her. "You up for it?" He looked at Mystico. "If not how about you Mystico?"

"How about Wii sports? that seems easy enough" Amy laughed. She got the box and inserted the disc for Wii Sports. She moved the Wiimote thus moving the cursor on the scvreen..she went to the games and then pressed 'A' on the Wii Sports icon. "This'll be fun" Amy smirked "I'll play against you Sabre with my Mii...my ultimate Mii" She laughed again. Mystico clapped his hands.
"Ok What about me and my mii" Sabre asked.
"Oh yes. You need to make a mii" Amy exited Wii sports and then went to the Mii option. "Now lets make your Mii"

Sabre placed a hand on the wii itself and a small needle extended from his palm and inserted into the wii. On the screen an exact rplica of him except animated appeaered as his mii. "And jsut to be fair." he added after he saved it. He went onto Amy's Mii and it changedc into an exact replica of her animated. He smirked. "Isn't that more ultimate then your old one? If not i'll put it back."

"Wow Sabre..that's awesome!" Mystico screamed since he wanted a Mii like that aswell. Sabre smirked and then added one for Mystico, an exact replica. Mystico jumped up and down. "hey thanks for that..now onto the game huh?"
They both got onto tje game and then went on bowling. Amy released the b button and the ball went down the alley. Amyt got 6 pins out of 10.
Sabre came up next and got a strike.
Amy gave him a suspicious glare. "I guess I'm just good huh?" Sabre grinned.

"And as i'm away from it how could i manipulate it." he said casually shrugging as he wtached her get a spare. He got a 7 10 split with the first bowl and hit the ten on the second. He shurgged. "That shot's nearly impossible."

"Heh..cheater" Amy whispered.
"I heard that by the way" Sabre smirked.
"Yeah yeah" Amy then had her tuirn. She got a strike that turn. Mystico clapped. He wanted Amy to win.

Spear shrugged and bowle. He only hit a single pin in the first shot and five in the second. "If i was cheating i'd be getting spares and strikes endlessly." he said. "Would Spear cheat?" he added as he watched her get a spare. He then got one as well. He looked at Mystico. "Do you think i'm cheating?" he thoguht for a moment. "Keep an eye on crest for me will ya Mystico?"

"Spear would cheat sometimes....but he would be secretive about it though."
Mystico walked over to Crest and sat next to her.
