Spear walked up to his room again. Quazon was sanding bent over on the bed. Spear then diverted his eyesight from that. "Quazon" Quazon stood upright. "Chaos chao..like you cannot lay eggs" Quazons eye watered, he ran out wailing.

Sabre walked up to the crying Quzon and lifted him up gengtly. "Hey Quazon.....you may not be able to lay eggs, but thats not the end of the world. Besides a scientist may find a way for chaos chao to lay eggs. They've done almost everything else." He placed the chao down. "Now go have some fun.....Crest is just waking up if you want to play with someone."
Ironically Sabre did not know how right he was......100 miles awya in his lab a scientist was indeed working on that....he had returned the hyrbrid chaos chao to it's owner and in return had been givien instructions on the dna altering equipment and was currently building his own. Soon chaos chao all over the world would be able to lay eggs....or so he thought.
In a secret base the man who owned the chao was laughing coldy as he watched the chao transformed back into a spectral figure. His plan was working perfectly.
"Chaos chao are able to tune in with chaos.......if everything goes to plan i will have them all at my command and be able to control the chaos emeralds." he said. "Then the world will be mine."
(a bit of a change in plan, but the bit with shadow can come in later......this is an idea i jsut thoguh of.)

It gives chao a bit more relevance especially chaos chao......i just wanted to sue the chaos bit of their name for something awesomely chaotic.

Amy had Mystico on her lap and she was feeding him a chao fruit. Quazon was sitting next to Spear with a dark fruit, he was still a bit sad. Spear stroked him lovingly and then hugged him. Quazon hugged back his flame grew larger and brighter. Mystico onlooked the scene and then turned to Amy. His claws gripped her t-shirt and he pressed his head against her. Amy stroked his back and then stroked his tail. Crest gurgled and then crawled onto Sabre. She jumped on his lap. Sabre held her up to his face. She then licked his cold metal muzzle. She shivered. Sabre then put her down.

Sabre fed Crest a chao fruit....she gurgled happily before licking it and then devouring it. He stroked her head gently. He flicked the TV on and to his surrpise the hedgehog who had given him Crest was on the TV.
"Hello I'm Proffesor Crest Wave head of Wave water Research Incorporated....I have a special announcement aimed speciffically at chao owners and those with chaos chao. Due to something an associate gave me it is now possible to alter a chao's DNA to allow chaos chao to lay eggs.....it is also possible to alter the DNA of that egg so you cna have whatever chao you want come out of it....unfortunately the ranks are still unable to be altered." he started. "If you have an interest in this then please come down to my lab on the eastern sea ten miles east of station square and bring a simple payment of ten coins and tekkl me what you want doing and i'll do it. Don't forget to bring your chao." Sabre stared at the announcment.
"So thats why he wanted me to call my chao Crest."

"Huh...Sabre...I don't get it....Why did that guy want to call your chao Crest?"
"Oh You'll find out" Crest smiled and then jumped off the sofa, she started walking around the sha-ggy rug. Mystico and Quazon joined her and then played follow the leader.

Sabre laughed thoguh it sounded quite evil and all three chao froze with fear. "Darn Neo-Hamin....he gave me an evil laugh function when i laugh not a normal laugh." he said. "Chao Chao Chao." he said saying Sorry Chao in chao language. He sighed deeply and walked outside the house in a depressed mood.

Amy ran after him. "Hey Mystico froze up coz he thought you would laugh normally..he's heard evil laughes before."
"Why did he give me an evil laugh function?" Sabre asked
"Coz you were meant to be evil. Obliterase stood on top of a spire on Amy's manor house.
"Obliterase!"

"Then i'll show you what an evil person can do by ripiing you apart." he said activating hsi thrusters and sword lunging straight at the enemy machine his eyes glowing a bright red in anger and hatred. He slammed his blade through obliterase's stomahc and activated his thunder chaotic power completely frying Obliterase's circuitry. He ripped off Obliterase's head and threw it away before vaporing the body with pure energy. He let out an evil laugh before turning to Amy his eyes still glowing a bright red. He stared at her for a moment then his optic sensors turned off as his sytems shut down from overuse. He fell off the roof and landed next to Amy.

"Hey Sabre. Obliterase ain't done with you"Obliterase repaired itself. It's arm came back and tehn fixed itself on, the hole became swallowed up, and his head screwed back on. "I have had major revamping. I cannot die so easily" His circuits stopped frying and went back to normal. Power was transferred to Obliterase's claws. The giant machine slashed the air, sending 3 shockaves dashing at Sabre. "Crystal Barrier" Amy said simply, a crystal barrier came up and neutralised the shockwaves. Obliterase's eyes glowed. He then threw his head back and launched it forward, throwing out a red and white phason ray. Crystal Amy stood there, she knew what to do. "Activate power up"Amy shone with crystal brilliance. A sphere coated her and then expanded a little. The phason hit the ball and then travelled round it slightly looking for an opening. Amy's arms went into a cross like shape in front of her. She threw them out and the ball expanded, pushing back the phason. "What is this?" Obliterase jumped down with quite a large thud. His tail was brought round and impacted the transparent sphere. His tail had stopped as he couldn't move it. "What the--"
"Magnetic, your steel right, you can't get away now" She explained as the ball expanded again, enveloping the whole of Obliterase's tail. Amy stepped out of the ball. The ball swallowed Obliterase, thought grew bigger because of his size. "Let me out now" Amy laughed, suddenly a pain jabbed her mind painfully. Amy glowed several colours.She let out a moan, she seemed to be transforming. "Night-time ...transformation"
"What are you doing?" Obliterase asked
A huge ball surrounded her though this was opaque and then flashed covering the whole area in a blinding light.
The light faded as did the ball and Amy was now in her night-time fox form. She growled deeply and snarled, her human instincts had diminuished to such a tiny part of her mind.
"Too bad you ain't a flesh being, I could've ripped you limb by limb" She said huskily, thought darkly too.
"Lucky me" Obliterase smashed the ball and thwn stood up straight, trying to intimidate her.
"You don't scare me" She huffed, she jumped onto his body and started tearing at him, making scratches in his armor.
The giant armoured monster then grabbed her and the threw her away.
Amy landed in the trres and snarled again "Ugly being" She snapped. She jumped down and then made two crystal balls in her hands, she merged them together, making it bigger. Obliterase plodded over to Crystal Amy's 'hiding place' and then proceeded with slashing at her. The crystal ball took the hit, The fox launched the ball at Obliterase, smashing into his face, he was also brought down onto his back. "I can't beleive you, YOU'RE CRAZY!" Obliterase then got up and ran off.
"Don't come back either" The fox growled. She trapsed over to Sabre and then dragged him inside.
Mystico was the leader now, with Quazon and Crest following, though Mystico did a bigger route.
"Stupid robot...won't leave us alone" Amy snapped.
Sabre was huddled on the sofa, his eyes were just black.

When he awoke a few hours llater his optic sensors were green, but still had a reddish tinge. He looked at his metallic body and sighed deeply. He sat there staring at the ceiling spekaing to himself.
"I was designed to be evil." he whispered. "Yet I feel horrible now i let that evil swell over me to try and destroy obliterase. So surely i'm not a bad guy.....am i?" he siged again. "I don't know anymore." He looked at the three chao who were still parading around this time with Quazon as leader. He smiled weakly then rose to his feet and walkied into the kitchen. He grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and qickly wrote a note in the Times New Roman font.
Amy, Spear,
Please take care of Crest whilst I'm gone. I have to find myself before i become truly evil. Even if I do become evil at least i know i have found the path i was destined for. Sorry about any trouble ic aused either of you.
From Sabre 'Metal Spear'
He opened the kitchen window and leapt out of it deciding to go see this Proffesor Crest because he seemed highly intelligent and could probabaly help him. He arrived at the lab and knocked at the door. Crest opened it and stared.
"This is a surprise.....a nice one at that....please do come in." he said. Sabre nodded and walked into the lab. "I'm sorry about the mess. Please take a seat." Sabre nodded and sat down. Crest sat oposite him. "So what brings you here.....Mr...."
"Sabre....also known as Metal Spear." he replied. "I came here because iI do not know who I am anymore. I thought because the DNA placed in my shell was that of a hero then I too would be a hero, but.........a strange darkness took over me when i defended my place of residence. Usually I try to disarm not destroy, but this time I tried to completely vaporise my foe. My creator was Neo-Hamin." Crest thought for a moment.
"So although your DNA is good you feel that you may be destined for evil?" Crest questioned. Spear nodded. "And i'm guessing that is due to beng created for such a purpose by Neo-Hamin?" Sabre nodded again. "Well i'm quite good with machines so maybe I can make you into someone destined for good." he said after a moments thought. "Please come downstairs to my workshop and i'll see what i can do." Sabre nodded and followed Cest downstairs. "Please lay down and the table and deactivate....i have seen DNA core machines before and i know the DNA is stored in a small ball inside your head, but if i start taking you appart whilst you are awake your 'brain' will naturally react and try to hurt me." Sabre nodded and laid down on the table and shut down. Crest stared at the metal body for a few momenets before focusing and using his water powers to drain the DNA from the core and placed it in another Core. Then he began to work.....\

Amy came back from downstairs. "Odd..Sabre is usually down here..hey.. a note on the table"
Amy read it then it dropped from her hand. "Spear has always been a bit evil...maybe that can explain his evil side. I mean..Spear can go crazy. heh" Amy picked up the note and pinned it to the notice board. "Even if it is rare for him to go crazy" Amy added. Amy picked up Mystico from the line and then put him next to her, Crest went on her lap and Quazon went the other side. "Wow..Now I know what Chaos 0 feel like" Amy slumped down and relaxed as she turned the TV and watched the news.
All the chao snuggled into Amy's warmth.Crest was the first to go to sleep, Mystico being the last. Amy feel asleep 2 hours after the chao.Spear walked in thorugh the front door and tehn looked at the lovely sight. He smiled warmly then smirked. He picked up Quazon carefully then snuggled next to a deep-sleeping Amy, then Quazon rested, on his shirt, which was open, acting like a hammock. Spear's head fell against Amy's shoulder.
Too bad Sabre couldn't complete the cute scene.

WHen Crest was odne he had changed all of Sabre's evil functntions suchn as evil laugh, evil gloat to normal ones. He had also made his body out of a softer, but tougher metal. He then reinserted the core and activated Sabre.
"Your fixed. Now go find your chao." he said. "Oh and try and advertise for me." Sabre nodded, thanked him and dashed off home. He arrived and saw the scene and smiled warmly and sat wtaching them.
