Nah. You're good. Heck, I can't even FINISH my stories! I bet you're tonnes better than I could ever be. Mine are short, and written like how I say things, instead of putting detail in, and I can read something that took me a day or two in a matter of seconds.
You are awesome, from what I can tell. ^_^

WHAT THE HECK KIND OF ATTITUDE IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're just gonna give up, you're just gonna say 'forget it its not worth it' to everything and leave it at that. That's pathetic, if you like it, DO IT. If you're not good, TRY HARDER. You think I was any good at drawing when I first started. I wasn't any good at drawing at all till I was in yr 8, and looking back then I was still quite bad. So don't be an idiot and give up, you continue doing it, and if you don't, then why bother with anything.

i've been trying for years to write stories, but i not gotten anywhere. I can't get any idea. i can write if i have ideas, but i got none. Ok? If i had ideas i would do it, but i got noen so there is no point is there. Drawing yoou can jsut look at a picture on the internet and draw it, but writing you need an idea for stroyline, characters, and then if you want it to seel it gotta be a good idea. And then you've got writers block.
Liek i said i give up.

Fine, give up, do nothing, become nothing and see if anyone cares.

Oh, gosh. YOU are suffering from depression, seriously. Blazey, you're brilliant from what I can tell. BRILLIANT!!! Hey, your writing makes sense, it does get finished. Think of all of the rpg stories you've done. All of the posts are tiny stories. As a matter of fact you CAN do stories! Lots of 'em.
At the moment you're being an emo. Snap out of it, Blaze. Do you want to be classed as emo? I don't think you do. Snap out of it, please. Even if you do suck at writing, you can ask for help from the experts. Keep on mailing for help until they give in. It works, buddy.

Liek i said rpg's and proper novel writing for moeny are different. In an rpg you got people there to write when you got no ideas and then you get some. With a novel you don't. You have to write it by yourself and you get no real help except perhaps peopel saying hwo good it is or how you could improve. I don't even get that really when i tyr to write a story. A fan fic i coudl do, but you can't make mone from a fan fic.
Also noen of my stories i tired to write by myself has finished. Rpg's i might be good at and they are fun to do, but i can't use them for a best-selling novel

Oh... If you've got problems with anything ask writers, like Jaqueline Wilson, J.K Rowling, or somebody. You can ask any person who's published something.

Dude, if you're suffering from writers block, try and inspire yourself. Look at the world around you, then place unusual and exciting events in. For example, you're walking along the road to school. Then, you imagine the carnage of an other-dimensional army of monstrous creatures, falling through a shift in time and space from the sky, landing and splitting the ground beneath their feet, smashing away oncoming cars with single sweeps of their arms. Dude, try to relax, clear your mind of worries, and let your imagination run wild. You'll be surprised how many ideas you can come up with... And how many people haven't yet done! Ideas first. Details and storylines later. Story writing is easier that way.

NM, Toady... Please, don't get on Blaze's back like that. It's not very nice. I agree that he shouldn't give up, but don't call him an idiot if he feels badly about this. That only hurts people more. Ok? It really is difficult being a writer, and it takes time and effort along with motivation and support. Sometimes that's all you really need: support. I need it too, and many authors need it too, I'm sure. We're here to help, not stomp on him for feeling down about it... : /
Now... Blaze, I understand what you mean. Yes, it is hard coming up with characters, storylines, detail and actually finishing a story. I myself have not yet finished one story of mine that I've created, not one. However, I intend to, and I still aim for it. You see, you have to know actually what makes you WANT to be an author. It goes down much deeper than just needing ideas. You asked me once why I enjoyed writing my stories, and my answer was: "Because I like sharing my creativity, I like giving people a way to escape the world around them just as writing it does for me. It makes them happy, and me too."
So... Why do YOU like writing? What does it do for you?? You must enjoy it in some way, but what way is it? That you don't have to come out and answer to us, just answer it to yourself. That really does help understand who you are inside and why you ar putting effort into this in the first place. Thing is, most of the time you don't know until you ask yourself that question. :]
Now, let's talk about the idea thing. It happens. We all lose ideas a some point and can't figure out where it should go next. However, there is ways to help. Before I ever write a story, I start at the end. What does that mean? It means focusing on the end of your story. What's the goal? What happens? Is everybody all happy and cheering in the streets? Or is there darkness all around?? Does the villain die? Does the villain ever return for vengeance on his/her foes?? Does someone else rise as the enemy?? Or does something completely different happen? It's your choice, and it takes your main focus first.
Second... I look at the beginning. Where does it all begin? HOW?? Is it an ordinary day and things just go terribly wrong suddenly? Or does darkness progress slowly, and gets worse over time? Does the beginning start with action, chaos and confusion?? Or is it calm and later is shook up by this villain or his/her minions?? WHAT?! That's the sort of things you got to think of. And has things happened already that the characters flashback to? This creates, what I like to call, "puzzle stories. You connect the pieces a little at a time as the story goes on--either to the past, figuring out who someone is, a place... The list is endless.
Third... I look at the characters. Yes, who are the characters and what are they? What's their personality? What do they like? What's their fears? Their challenges?? And HOW will they AFFECT the story?? Sometimes people have characters that are just tag-alongs, they aren't needed in ANY way. Get rid of those, and stick with characters that makes a different for the story or for another character. Oh, and another thing, don't make too many unless they all fit into the plot somehow. They must have purpose! :]
Fourth... Then I look at the big, huge gap in my story. It seems scary, doesn't it? But, it's also the BEST part. Now you have to take these meaningful characters, start them at the beginning and get them to the end. Do they struggle? Through what, and when, and how, and WHERE? Do they all have similar trials or individual challenges? Does their quest get interrupted by unexpected battles with villains? Do new people accompany them along the way? What happens to each of the charas. AND... Do they change through the obstacles that this big gap has to offer? That's what you got to look at. And, then, just go for it. Not many people know this, but your sub-conscious mind actually works for you and somehow pieces these gaps in for you as you go along. You may purposefully leave out a detail to give interesting flashbacks later. Characters could make mistakes, their could be conflicts, rivalries, deaths, alliances... ANYTHING!
And most of all... Fifth... NEVER GIVE UP! If writing is truly your passion, truly your desire, then don't give up. Keep going, and find out what gives you motivation. Find out if you need support, if you need people to read along and tell you how you're doing. If you do need it, let people know so they can follow along and help you. That's very important for writers, they need that--I do too. And always, always, let your imagination do the work for you. You may end up with the most original story ever, believe me. ;]
Last, but not least, I'll do whatever I can to help you in your lessons through PM. If you have ANY questions, ask me. I'll be there. ^_^
