Ok. New art. I made my own Gestalts from Final Fantasy 13. Normally you can have one eidolon going into one gestalt. But my, being ever the screwer of the rules, decided to have three different gestalts. A gesalt monster for sea, for sky and for land. And like most Final Fantasy monsters, they are based off mythology. So I based mine off personally my favourite mythicals. Charbydis, Scylla and then I merged their names together for Charyblla. Scylla, on land, due to Scylla namely being ona rock, christened Scylla's rock. Charybdis was most commonly found in the sea, and then Charyblla by default got air, and also land = sea kinda equals air anyway. Lol. Also. I didn't do shading this time around, just the colouring and the picture. But I am getting better at drawing using paint and laptop touch pad. Which is sooo hard to use. And now my fingers hurt. Especially my metacarpal. You've seen Scylla, but I thought, nah, that doesn't look too good. So I decided to re-do Scylla, for the christening of my new, Final Fantasy XIII fanfiction piece involving me as a Crysalan L'Cie, Crysala is a world in this one and is even lower than Pulse and is completely unknown to Cocoon inhabitants. Crysalans have crystal powers, and when turned L'Cie gain more potent crystal powers along with the ability to use other elemental magicks. Amy has her Eidolon (well she's gonna gain it during her travels, before Fang after Sazh) TiterraFormer is her Eidolon, it doesn't have a myth name, like Bahamut but the gestalts do. Amy has numerous gestalts due to the fact that she is Crysalan, they are allowed to have more than one gestalt. Titerraformer's name comes from Titan, a common Final Fantasy name and terraformer, meaning to change and shape the land, each gestalt represents 'faction' of different habitats guess. Land is Scylla due to the fact of the name Scylla's rock, in which Scylla lived, rock is land and so Land was given to Scylla. Scylla is fast and agile able to destroy with his mouth and claws, he is solely land and cannot swim or fly, making it a land exclusive. Scylla has no extra abilities, however it has one sole gestalt attack, the attack 'Chronos Claw' which sends the foe when swiped with claws through a warphole. Damage is taken from the claws, the trip through the warphole and the result as they are taken back in time. There is a 10% chance that a wormhole will open and bring the opponent back in time. Otherwise only damage from the claws is taken. Charybdis was mainly found in the water, as a whirlpool, therefore the Charybdis of the gestalt is sea based and cannot go on land and cannot fly, Charybdis also has the special ability to coat the rider in a bubble of air, allowing for underwater travel without the gestalt rider drowning. Charybdis has the ability of 'Clairvoyance Crush' With it's powerful tail Charybdis binds the foe and using the powers of a clairvoyant manages to send the foe to an entirely different place, the added effect of being sent to a different place is of 10% Charyblla is a combination of both names and is the gestalt of the sky, allowing for sky riding. The gestalt rider is able to fly higher than anything ever imagined. Charyblla is able to use both Chronos Claw and Clairvoyance Crush however, the jaws of Charyblla are used not the tail. I would like to see you attempt a drawing of Veil's skeletal dragon.
Its basically a huge skeletal dragon with a huge spiked tail. Its wings are merely bone covered in a black flame. The eyes glow with the same black flame and the body kind of crackles with black energy. There is a large black flame in the chest of it.
