; Talk about bad luck. Maybe you should start saving your important files on CDs or USB thumbdrives? Just in case your computer loses the files again...

Hey Lili, long time no see. Hmmm...I think you're right. Well, thing is, even PC discs corrupt - that's happened to me already. So...I don't know. PCs just give you major problems sometimes. >_< Thankfully it was only the images though. I mean, that bummed me out big time, but I can always make more. ^_^ SO...it's not as bad as what it could have been.

I know what it's like to have everything wiped off your computer, I had every single last file deleated, there was nothing left, thankfully I had all my pictures on Photobucket, rightclick save-as and they were saved. I didn't have anything in word except old homework.
It can really get on your nerves to lose all that stuff

NO!!!! My stupid PC has been corrupted again. All my images are GONE and so is the new chapter I was typing on for my book!! .............. Why me again...? I use a USB memory stick to save my stuff on. Even they corrupt but not very often, mine is INVINCABLE!! It has been throguh the washing machine three times; two cups of tea (w/ milk) and four cups of coffee.

What is it that keeps ddeleating your files? maybe you need some security software, or a better one.

My USB went through the washing machine. I'm yet to test it again. Hmm, don't worry FM5. These things happen. Of course, I know I'm a poor one to judge, but in the past, I've had my computer get a bug, and completely crash, and have to be completely restarted from scratch... That stank. Still, don't worry about it.

Actually, it is MUCH worse than I expected. I fix everything on my PC, delete the problems and turn off the computer. It comes back on and...IT STARTS THIS MESS ALL OVER AGAIN!!! This is beyond annoying. I can't even figure out the problem. It's like it doesn't know how to save the changes I've made. *sigh* I'll figure it out soon. I think anyways...

Hmm, that might work, because your computer appears to be... Well, broken. It would be a good idea to fix it. Or, get another...

The best thing to do is just entirely restart your PC. If you're using a HP Pavillion model it should come with a restall disk.

I have the cause of your problem - LimeWire.
I'm sorry to say this as LimeWire is a brilliant service. But people have tried and tested to find out that LimeWire causes extreme harm to your computer a whikle after downloading it. Stitch has that problem with his PC but his parents would kill him if he told them.
