So, Massage Therapy has been going well so far. I've now had officially 3 tests, and I figured I should keep you guys posted here in case you're wondering how I might be doing over the past upcoming 6 months or so.
Plus... If I am posting things, I'd like to keep you guys proud of me. A good way to keep doing my best. ;]
Ok, so the Massage Program is divided into two classes. Masssage Therapy Techniques on Mon/Wed. And Anatomy and Physiology on Tues/Thurs.
The combined total of hours between these is an extra 18hrs... On top of my working at Ross with 20-25hrs... Yeah. I'm officially Full-Time when plugging in my classes here. XD
But I'm handling it. Here's the grade lists!
Massage Therapy Techniques: Test 1 - 100% Test 2 - 100% Test 3 - 100% Test 4 - ??
10/26/16 - From here on out, it will be difficult to say what the 'tests' are when we're learning Effleurage Massage strokes and techniques. My 'tests' may be in form of performance soon rather than on paper.
A&P: Test 1 - 100% Test 2 - 102% Test 3 - 92% Test 4 - 105% Test 5 - 103% Test 6 - 98% Test 7 - ?? Test 8 - Pending...
*Note: Any score above 100% was extra credit points that put me over.
I'll update as I go. :3

Ok, so, Test 3 for A&P was harder. It was Chemistry-based material, so i'm not really surprised that it was more difficult. But the test was still good and I got the majority of the concepts down.
Next stuff for Test 4 is about the Cell, its Parts, and the Functions. It's a lot to cover. But I'm totally having flashbacks to my Biology class! XD (Like, seriously, I think I still have NOTES on the forum!)

Ok, so putting my nose in a book all day/night is hard. I like hearing people talk to me, so why not helpful YouTube videos? I regret nothing. Even if some of these vids seem like they're for highschool kids. I have a bad memory... XD

Today in Massage Therapy class, we applied our knowledge of draping our clients and performing the first 4 strokes of Effleurage - a type of massage that uses light-to-medium pressure that is used to almost 'mentally diagnose' the client's trouble areas, and help them relax and get the muscles warm for deep tissue massage later.
I've done well up to this point, but struggle just a bit today (I felt) with some postures of my body and really feeling the weakness in my own muscles where it was hard to get good, steady strokes. But all this shall improve. I'll keep practicing! We continue on this process next Wednesday since no class Halloween - my instructor took that day for herself to be with her kids, yanno? Which is all good for me!
Onto A&P. Good news is that I passed the A&P test yesterday with a 105% score - woooooot!
Bad news is that I have now Tissues to study, and the test is tomorrow(10/27). A little unfair to give me one day really to study since I worked last night and now I feel like I gotta cram. This is going to be tough. And I'm exhausted. But I'll do my very best! Even getting an 80% or something would make me happy. XD
We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Good news...
A&P Test today was a 103% for me! That's with only the half-day able to study. I'm pretty happy. :3
And only a little letdown news is that I DO HAVE class Mon - whatever reason, Ms. Amy said sorry and that we still have class. Total. Bummer. XD

I have not kept up all on my test grades... But I'll say that all have been well! Even the hard ones like the Muscular System(102%) and the Nervous System(97%). Just letting ya know I'm still punching A&P in the throat.
