Xenoblade Chronicles (X)

I absolutely LOVED playing Xenoblade Chronicles this last Summer!

It was FANTASTIC!
The story was original, played by its own unique ground rules, and the fighting style was fun while the enemies/bosses proved challenging. Fell in love with this game, played it even 2x through back-to-back. It was just that inspiring!

And then my buddy Doug(Pureheart), who was also the one who convinced me to buy it, told me that they were releasing Xenoblade Chronicles X this December!
I nearly flipped the computer chair out from under me with excitement! ^^


So... My sister surprised me just two days ago with the new game!
I AM GOING TO DIE BECAUSE HOLIDAY HOURS ARE KEEPING ME FROM PLAYING IT RIGHT. THIS. SECOND!!!



A little crazy about this? HELL YEAAAA!! xD

Hmmmm.....

Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X...
Two entirely different games. Art and scenery feels familiar, but everything else is waaaay different, and X leaves me feeling undecided on how I feel about it so far.

Some of the music gets me hyped, but I'm waiting on the story here...
Just not sure yet.

I'm getting into more interesting stuff storywise now that I'm at like Ch.5, but...
I almost feel the creators tried SO HARD to make the game technological that they may have made it just confusing during gameplay - like finding where things are at, etc. I like depth in a game/story myself, but not so much where you end up being unsure of some things in the major city, or fighting style going haywire, and what-not. And to be honest, we were a liiiiiittle slow getting into the story itself, like it took 5 chs to be of any real interest. (The areas you explore are awesome, but you gotta have good reason TO EXPLORE it to have any fun doing that.)


So... I'm not yet sure how this game will ultimately leave me feeling.
Right now I'm a little unsure (and worried).

I want that same all-around hype I was having in the previous post, not this. XD

Ok, I am at Ch.7 now and...

I LOVE IT.


For awhile I was running around confused on some matters, but I got it down and figuring out how to take down my enemies more and progressing in the storyline. Really fun game now that I got it all down. And SO GLAD the story is picking up faster! ^^
