There was some postgame content like the Looker quests, but I agree it was majorly lacking in both difficultly and content. The main story wasn't bad it just needed to be more subtle.
I'm personally very happy with the way Sonic has gone. It was getting way too many characters. Yes some had epic plots, but others not so much.
The wii u is a loss for multiple reasons and I don't think omega ruby and alpha sapphire will be enough to recooperate. What they need are some good games to come out for the wii u. Super mario 3d world is an amazing game, the new smash bros looks amazing as does the new mario kart. However, they do need more third party support.

I fully agree.
I love Nintendo, have so much of their products, but on the big consoles lately they are letting me down. It makes me very sad that there isn't older adult content(not rated M inappropriate stuff exactly, just older audience targeting) games, but that keep the life and imagination alive that I really appreciate about video gaming.
You're right.
Nintendo needs to face that their core group is US - the kids that grew up and now need the majority of their attention. But if they do it right, titles like LoZ, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Star Fox, etc are plenty friendly for kids nowadays to play, but can easily be made for older adults, too.
But I would like to see MORE from them. Just new ideas, like you're saying.
Because I've played Nintendo games since I was 3yrs, so it's TIME to usher in new titles, better old titles, and bring in better graphics with better characters and better storylines.
Mostly better characters and story.
Graphics is NOTHING without the other two.
Just like 3D movies - graphics won't save your ass if the movie sucks. XD

I'm glad you listened to what I said. I was worried you would accuse me of being incredibly Anti-Nintendo (when I'm not! haha).
I think Nintendo are doing good, but could be doing so much better. They were so powerful in the 90s and I feel that has waned. It's sad.
Anyway. I'm looking forward to Omega and Alpha. I trust they will be good. GameFreak hasn't really let me down that much before (apart from X and Y, but that's a different story). We can all post updates as and when they appear. ^^

Mega Swampert is loooooookin' epic!
And I really like Mega Sceptile.
Only thing I don't like is Tabitha. He was epic and demented in Ruby/Emerald. Now he's derpy.

Nah I feel the same way. There's a few gems and they are great games but I bought a PS4 because it's where most of the titles I want are. Nintendo have absolutely nothing in the way of third party, lately it's like Nintendo brought out the Wii U to compete with the PS3 and 360 but took so long that when they did the PS4 and Xbox One were already being released.
As for Sonic the problem is Sega keeps re-branding the guy. There's not enough time to slow down and focus on what works, I've never got the appeal of Shadow or Wario. I mean those guys are just evil versions of the main character but at least Wario is interesting while Shadow plays the "I'm such a nasty anti-hero! I'm not going to help those people!" Shadow needs to stop acting angsty or he'll attract Kristen Stewart. I feel bad for Sega, they were taking out of the game by Sony and the only reason they joined the games industry was to get back at Nintendo for dumping Sony for Philips.
Sony were supposed to be helping Nintendo make the Playstation which was going to be a Nintendo design but they were dropped for Phillips who turned out to be bad for Nintendo whilst Sony got revenge by taking the Playstation and making it themselves dominating the industry with it.
