My question is whether or not mega-evolutions will be present and if so will the two main legendaries get one as they look a bit beefed up on the cover. Also will we get any new mega evolutions. Will we get gen 6 pokemon?
Also will we see X and Y graphics? (I hope so). If not does this likely means no mega evolutions as I doubt they will sprite them.
Will we get customizable trainers even more so than X and Y(Again I hope so)
Will they ever announce some sort of Zeta Emerald (I highly doubt it)
So many questions. So few answers. Find out on the next exciting episode of Omega Ruby XD.

They WILL DEFINITELY be in Gen 6 graphics.
I can imagine customisation will come back.
These will most likely be sequels not mere remakes with Emerald's add-ons.
I also think Mega-evolution will be here. Mega-Swampert FTW.
I have my team already planned.
I only hope they don't gimp the post-game XY was awful for that.

HELL YEAH, THEN! ^^ I never got to play these! I have Emerald ready to play on my PC, but I just haven't done it yet, and now I don't have to!
I'd soooooo get Omega Ruby then. How exciting! ^^

Lots of interesting stuff being displayed on line like the fact the 'Alpha, Omega bit' is because the team Aqua emblem looks like an alpha and the team magma emblem looks like an omega.
Also apparently it is just a remake and not a sequel, but I suspect we will still get a ton of extra content.
IF we are getting mega Evo's who do you want to see: Mega-Sceptile is my first choice as I just love the whole evolution line. Mega-Groudon would be interesting as would Mega-Kyogre and could give a new plot with both of the evil teams having the 'legendaries' and seeking the 'mega stones' to mega evolve them to outperform the other. Mega-Gallade Mega-Bisharp MEga-Hydreigon Mega-Exploud Mega-Metagross Mega-Salamence.

My team is gonna be:
Swampert Manetric (Mega) Aggron Torkoal Tropius
and my fifth will be decided closer to the time.
Here's hoping they break up the water routes a bit and PLEASE KEEP THE CONTESTS HOW THEY WERE.
It's entirely possible I might create a team just for contests.

I would definitely like to see a Mega Sceptile. That would be my starter line. :3
Far as everything else, I'm not sure what to expect since I didn't play the first ones - which has been bothering me, since I jumped over it to Platinum. XD
Can't wait to see it! ^^

Apparently it's going to be remakes. No sequels like I thought prior. I'm so psyched to see Swampert in 3D.
MEGA SWAMPERT IS GOING TO LOOK EPIC. I'm thinking my sixth pokemon might be an Absol. Alternatively, I might try a Pokemon I've never gone for before.
I'm gonna be coming up with some nicknames too. My Manectric is gonna be called Kaiser for definite. Possibly might call my Mudkip Xephyr. Hmm, I'll be having a look around and a think.

There is no apparently about it. Iwata has confirmed they are remakes. However, that doesn't mean they won't add on extra content. I'm personally hoping for a ton of post game content.

As long as they're better than the crap that was XY, I don't care.

I disagree that XY was crap. I feel some of its plot could of been etter and it needs to learn how to subtle. It also had little post game, but I did enjoy it.
However, i am getting to the stage where pokemon doesn't hold my interest for as long as it used to. Perhaps because I found XY incredibly easy

And it was easy because
1) Exp. All Yes, it was optional, but the fact that it was there made the game completely redundant. My biggest regret is not turning it off after getting up to speed, but I was oolish and din't think the effects would be that bad. 2) No trainer had more than 3 pokemon There are exceptions like the Elite Four, but even they're piss easy. You had the six Magikarp trainer, but it's bloody Magikarp for crying out loud.
The game had no post game unless you are a competitive player. Battle Chateau was boring after a while and the Maison was so hax happy and unfair that I didn't bother with it. The rivals were so stale and 1 Dimensional. Why were Tierno and Trevor even there? Your rival was a pushover. Shauna was ok, but could've been better.
Some of the pokemon they added truly are good in both design and battle (and the anime is top notch, thoroughly enjoying the subtle throwbacks to the original series).
It can be argued that they sacrificed a good game due to needing to update all the pokemon graphics but this is GameFreak we're talking about here. They're better than this.
I also don't like the convenience of the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire announcements. It was announced prior to that, that Nintendo were experiencing a loss because of the Wii U which, in my honest opinion, is just sh**e. It's essentially the Wii with a tablet and they thought they could ride on the success of the Wii. I love my Wii, yes, but they thought casuals would derp at the name and pick it up because it's a Wii. Unfortunately, Nintendo, people are NOT that dumb.
No third party support, no innovation. Convince me, Nintendo, WHY I should buy your product. You have next to no marketing for this crap. I'm not going to go into hardware or graphics because admittedly, hardware or graphics mean nothing (if it did I would've chosen the Vita over 3DS; the latter I got because it had the games I wanted and so I could continue playing my DS games).
There is nothing wrong with appealing to casuals and children. But if you do that, you will be shunning the majority of the gamerbase - those who were kids in the 80s and 90s and who have now grown up. Yes, older people do like LoZ and Pokemon and Mario, but remember my earlier gripe about innovation? Nintendo always play safe. They stick to the same formula and there is nothing wrong with thinking outside the box once in a while, twisting that formula and making something new of it (don't do what Sonic did and completely crap over everything that was good and confuse the entire fanbase, then again, the Sonic fanbase doesn't know what it wants and I'm only returning once the other characters are treated with respect and put back in the game, either a cameos or genuine playable characters. Yes, Shadow, I'm looking right at you.
Anyway, I've digressed. I personally think it was too convenient that as soon as a loss is highlighted, what do they do? Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are announced. It's like the Pokemon games are their get-out clause. I only hope, I only really hope, that they put the time and effort into these games (Sapphire was my first proper Pokemon game) and make it an enjoyable experience instead of a cheap money grab that ends up souring my memories of the Hoenn region.
I don't want to play through Alpha Sapphire and be thinking to myself: "My G*d, what have you done to Hoenn?"
I think the games will be good, because I trust GameFreak, but I don't want them to be a quick money grab. That's all I'm worried about.
And before I'm accused of hating Nintendo, I don't hate Nintendo. I have several of their products and like a few of their IPs. I think they simply play too safe sometimes and perhaps need to revive a few of their old IPs (like Star Fox perhaps) or need to dedicate a bit of time to perhaps trying a new IP for the older gamers.
Because right now, people see Nintendo as a kids' company. Not a gaming company.
