I like the fact that they used the WW graphics though

They used WindWaker graphics? That stinks! Wind Waker was terrible graphic-wise - Just didn't do the Gamecube justice... Looked like some scene from Tom & Jerry for crying out loud! And the Phantom Hourglass? What a rubbish name! If you ask me, Nintendo hasn't been trying hard enough recently...

i dunno, it's called that becasue you have to draw an hourglass on the touch screen in levels. it continues off from where wind waker left off

What's the point of continuing?! They flippin' drowned the whole of Hyrule, thus killing every inhabitant that lived there! What is the point of a Zelda game, when Hyrule has been destroyed?! And you draw... An hourglass? Oh! The almighty power! I can draw an hourglass!! Yeah, how are ya gonna beat Ganondorf? Draw such better hourglasses than him, that he hangs himself, rather than face the humiliation?! Seriously, I don't care for the storylines of any which carry on Wind Waker. I mean, you went through all that, and what did you accomplish? You seal Ganondorf away, when the real villain is the king o' red lions! I mean, he betrayed his own kingdom, condeming it to flood! ........ Sorry. I went on a rampage again. But, I don't think that this game sounds especially brilliant...

it might be good. I'll probably get it, not for the storyline, but i like Zelda, i've got a ds, what more reasons do i need? You use the touch screen for just about everything and it looks like a fun game-regardless of any storyline.

Worst put down on a game I've EVER read. Dang, Haunter, you can really spew insults. I'm glad I'm your friend and not your enemy. ...Scary... @_@ OK.... Well, I don't know, it sounds a little odd. I like WW fine, it's graphics just sickens me at first. After you play it awhile though, it's ok. ^_^ But... Continue where WW left off? Um..I really don't see HOW they can continue it. I mean..Hyrule sunk, Zelda was saved and Ganondorf got a sword through his head. XD Really..where do continue at?? I'm just a little confused. X] But, "The Phantom Hourglass"?? Definitely unique, but strange too. I won't judge it. All I gotta say is that Nintendo better not ruin Twilight Princess. LoZ is one o my favorite game series and look forward to well-built games in the future. DS, frankly, needs to END. This GameBoy mess is making more games than the consoles. I don't like it, it ruins the reason to get a console. Nintendo needs to mke more console games - then i'll be HAPPY! As for this new DS LoZ game, I won't be getting it. I have no DS, I stick to the console games.

i disagree with you on that one FM5. I think the DS is awesome and is here to stay. i don't know how many times i've been stuck in a car bored to death with nothing to do. I've got a DS myself and it's just useful to have a handheld where you couldn't take a console. I took my ds to work last week(i was on work experience) and it helped greatly to give me something to do during lunch when i wasn't on here. Another great aspect is that you can play it anywhere and the touch screen helps greatly. MPH is awesome because you can do what you can't do on the console version. you end up shooting freehand on MPH while on MP/2 you rely on the aiming feature.

(MPH is Metroid Prime Hunters, to those who don't speak in fluent Pyro Tails...) I think that the DS is cool in some aspects, but I think that FM5 has a point. I mean, they're concentrating so much on these tiny-screened back-breakers, that they're forgetting about the Gamecube, or rather, what potential it still has... Y'see, the only weakness to the Gamecube, was its lack of games. They had only one Kirby game (Not even an adventure game), they had a total of two Metroid games, about 4 Mario party games (Yuck), etc... I mean, how's this for satistics? I have: An uncountable amount of PS1 games 14 PS2 games And... 7 Gamecube games To those who haven't noticed, the number of Gamecube games I have, is half that of the PS2 games I have. And this cannot be blamed on recent buying, I've got all the Gamecube games I directly wanna have, and some I'm just keeping. The meaning of this is simple: Gamecube had too few games, which is why it fell behind in sales. And if ya don't believe me, look at your average Argos catalogue, or in fact any non-biased games magazine! I notice that, while PS2 takes up about both sides of two pages, and X-Box does the same, Gamecube takes up barely half of one page! Y'see, they keep spending too much time on the little things, they're losing out on the big! And... In all honesty, the DS isn't all that amazing. Just get a Gameboy, give it a touchscreen, improve its graphics, and give it a network connection, and ya got an average DS. I say that Nintendo should start focusing more on their progress with games that will actually sell, like Twilight Princess, as opposed to wasting time on interactive cartoons. That's my opinion. (By the way, Wind Waker wasn't all bad... It had good music! Or... Decent music! In... Certain places...)

I have 20 odd GCN games, you judge games very harshly Haunter, on most threads on this board you have ranted about Nintendo games, there is a lot of fantastic games avaliable on the 'cube. I think it's great that Nintendo are keeping the WW graphics, a handheld game console can't make ultra good graphics you know, it's better like this. I also think it's great that they're continuing from WWs story line, I always wanted to know what happened after. Oh and FM5, the DS is pretty much just as great as the GCN.

But, I don't think that this game sounds especially brilliant... urm haunter not to be horriable but 1- you sound like your just whining for the sake of it. 2- everyone already knows that windwaker sucks ONM rated 90% for the piece of turd if it was me windwaker would 1% because of the mere fact that it's a zelda game and even then because of all the garbage and it would end up in minuses. but haunter don't judge phantom hourglass on the success of windwaker, yeah it has WW graphics but it's still cool and the screenshots show that this one makes cel-shaded graphics work. also the way the game works is brilliant, using the stylus for everything, you can draw on the map (DON'T GET SACASIC ON ME HERE). in general LOZ: phantom hourglass looks like a better verision of windwaker and the turd of lions if likely gone having accidently drowned himself. oh and i argree with the gamecube thing. NO GOOD GAMES, well yeah they had good games but not enough. BUT with i am starting to get annoyed with the wii. they're going for quanity instead of quality releasing any old games on the wii then introducing rubbish motion sensor controls for instance i want to canterbury and the games i found were meet the robinsons: a movie tie-in, basicly the same rubbish PS2 version but with MOTION CONTROL so it must be at least 10 times better right? [glow=red,2,300]WRONG![/glow]
