sonic riders is just another "let's make a race game" with a popular character "sonic and his friends" and then throw in a gimmick like "hover boards"

Yes, I to own all of the Sonic games on the poll and I would have to go with Shadow the Hedgehog, cuz Sonic Riders' storyline wasnt that great. But, Sonic the Hedgehog (Xbox 360) has to be my favorite of all the games, mostly becuz of SIlver and the nice graphics.  |

Silvers good, but the game sucks. Its so friggen repetitive. It' like everyother sonic game. Megaman does the same thing too.

Megaman has good storlien's though. So does sonic, but it's jsut the game style. The new one brings in some newer elements of gameplay

I think Shadow the Hedgehog's better than Sonic Riders. Both are hard games, though...

I like Shadow the Hedgehog, itwas actually a game that connects to SA2. Sonic Riders, despite the storyline, it was like a sub-story, not really important or necessary. Plus, Shadow's background was finally filled in in the Shadow the Hedgehog game--and it was necessary to understand him fully. So... That's my view. XD

very good point fm5. i agree with it. plus SR didn't make complete sense. why disdn't sonic run like shadow//

Hate to be picky but In Sonic Riders they do run, when you lose air you resort to running until you get to an air staiton or get one of the air capsules, or do a trick, and Super Sonic is supposedly on Sonic Riders however I do like Shadow the hedgie (!?) He's my fave Sonic Char
So I put that they are both equal, I do think that despite they're genres I found Sonic Riders easy (I always play as Shadz lol) and well I couldn't choose I couldn't put that I hated them both because I don't, and I know what this is about so the what? choice is gone, and I couldn't choose so I put BOTH ARE EQUAL! Don't flame coz they do run breifly end of.....

Becoz he has to act cool like
Shadow is smart in S.R, cool moves
Sonic was a dumbass, and Sonic can use hover shoes (there I go again) but Sonic wanted a hoverboard to compete with Jet.

shadow is more intelligant then sonic which is why in sonic x, shadow complety beat the pulp out of sonic but then again shadow could go faster then sonic which is an adventage and shadow IS actually faster, well so fast that he just dissapears and repeares somewhere else unless he used the chaos emerlads but that would make him a phoney and i hate phonies *twitches*

Shadow can easily beat Sonic.
1) He is faster
2) He is STRONGER (U.L.F)
3) He is defo smarter
So theres my theory
Shadow is better end of.
But there are ppl who think Sonic is better but there stupid. ^^ not really. But Shadow is the ultimate life form he was meant to be the best.

shadow is meant to be the ultimate lifeform and last time i checked the ultimate lifeform is better then a fast blue hedgehog also shadow is much cooler though it's a good thing he didn't have many appreanches on sonicx that show sucks and ruined sonic by giving him a voice. i didn't like sonic riders because it looked too complicated to play and they made yet another 3 characters for the already over-growing population of where ever the heck sonic lives if they make any more characters, sonic team are gonna be spending 10 years putting every one of them into a sonic game either that or ditch them all like in sonic and the secret rings
