Well I've got more time (and hopefully patience) so let's try out another spin at the Ultimate Showdown. For those that don't know what it is I will explain. For those that know just skip the whole next paragraph.
The Ultimate Showdown is based on literally the first RPG story I did on a forum. The idea was that 5 of the moderators recruited a team from the forum members and then they duked it out with their characters and big armies. It was meant to be a battle that would last forever until the majority of the players got bored and stopped posting. The Ultimate Showdown is a bit different in that any one can apply to be a general but there is a limit of five generals. After that those that apply have to chose which army to fight in. Also this type of thing actually is very loose on God moding restrictions. The only real rules are try to keep the character acting as they should (no having Peg Leg Pete the Pirate going, "I like poodles," when the most he can say is, "Yargh!" do to his tongue being cut out) and also no killing other peoples main characters or wiping out their armies completely. Other than that you can do quite a bit and also I might add you can use just about any character since they will all sorta be equallized even if its like the Star Wars tech going against Middle Earth tech. The Star Wars guys have lots of suped up weapons but when those trolls get in close you know who's going to win.
Now this one will be different from the other two in that I really do want the system with five armies consisting a member who post regularly (say once every 2 days) playing the general and several members that don't post as regularly playing the part of lower ranking officers. This will ensuer that even if the people playing the lower ranking officers don't post for a while, the general can still keep their army in the game.
Now who wants to give it a go. I'm General one and I'm likely going to fight with Mechanos V (and possibly XXVI if Haunter tosses in the Valritron), Grom, and Gilgamar. If you want to be in this post below and add what characters you will be using and if they don't already have an arI disagreeociated with them then post a short description of it. The first four will likely become Generals unless they're one of those 1 post a week type people. Nothing against people like that but Generals play a big part in this so I need be sure they won't just disapear for a month or 2 leaving us in the lurch.
