Could Sonic and Mario go together in the next installment of MarioKart? They've done the olympics and Brawl(but not for us  ) but would they work well in Mariokart? Remember Sonic has already done his own spin off in the form of Sonic R and less so in Sonic riders, but would they work together in the same game? And should Sonic's friends come along too? The choice is yours! |

Any particular reason apart from not liking Sonic? It didn't do S+M at the olympic games or Brawl any harm.

I would love for sonic and mario characters to be together in a mario and sonic kart game you could have
Mario
Sonic
Luigi
Tails
Cream
Yoshi
Toad
Shadow
Peach
Knuckles
Wario
Waluigi
Bowser
Eggman
This game would rock and i would most defently buy it. Mario and sonic have to stick together if they want any chance of bringing down that evil Master Chief!

not really. If nintendo felt that sega was taking advantage of them there would be no way that they would allow a Mario/Sonic game.
What have you honestly got against sonic? He's an awesome character! Yeah he's had better times but with games likes sonic unleashed and The Dark Brotherhood, this is he's year! So why would nintendo be foolish enough to pass off the oppertunity to help bring back the blue blur to the greatness he ounce was.
And therefore make sonic fans like poor pyropal feel happy again!
Sonic and Mario are Ex-rivals making them the perfect team!
Though to be fair, PYROTAILS YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED BRAWL YET FOR ALL YOU KNOW SONIC RUINED BRAWL!

Honestly Timey, if Sonic had ruined Brawl, the Americans would have let us know. Unless they mess up the PAL version. The only negative thing I've read about Sonic was where one person said that Sonic was the reason that they had the Final Smash disabled during their tournament.

why? Super sonic is not the most powerfull final smash, if you go too fast then your screwed, samus and mario blast half the fricken screen with their final smash.

Yeah. Super Sonic is quite hard to control, it takes time and skill.
Look at Bowsers! He turns into a giant!
It could be like teh dream race in the olympics.
You could have them speed ramps from the Sonic series that could boost your speed.

this is the only reason for hating this i can think of.
WHY WOULD SONIC WHO CAN RUN AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT EVEN BE THINKING ABOUT
USING A CAR?!?
Then again why would shadow be using guns? Why would a plumber be saving the world? And why would a boring clockmaker start killing people?
Such questions the world of the media poses us with!

From a business perspective it makes perfect sense. Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Games was a decent game, and the only reason that we got it was because it had Sonic and Mario in it. Sonic and Mario at the Olympics is still even in the chart over half a year after it's been released. So is Wii play!(the one with the free Wii-mote-probably gave it the wrong name). The reason that S+M at the olympics does so well is because it has both Sonic and Mario and Mii support. By adding Sonic and fellow characters to Mario Kart, it would probably boost sales even more.

Like with CS going all "I WANT SONIC" THEN "I WANT SHADOW"
when brawl was annoced. (i want shadow in brawl but thats just getting gready in my
opioun and one sonic character is enough for sonic hating mario fans)
