i hate to edmit it but most of the wii games are rubbish. third party developors are ruining nintendo making loosy half-decent games, ones like my sims are ok but when you get SPIDERMAN FRIEND OF FOE! or BEE MOVIE! as most of the games for the wii i start to wonder if nintendo can't really give a crud for hard-core gamers
every single hard-core game for wii is either
MARIO
LINK
SAMUS
and warioware and DK country don't excatly count as they are more or less spin offs of mario games.
i'm sorry for wii gamers they are OK with the line-up but it's getting on my nerves think about it, sure there's a huge line up of good games, but there's even more TERRIABLE *SMASH THEM UP AND GIVE THEM VIKING FUNERALS!* games to come out and super smash brothers brawl is to be honest NEVER COMING OUT!
i don't mean to runt on but nintendo needs more gaming characters like mario and link before people lost interest

sonic's a sega character i meant characters that were made perspercifly for nintendo like
mario- has the mario series, nintendo's mascot
link- stars in the greatest adventure game
samus- is a girl, or maybe a wagon, filled up with pancakes!

Well the thing is that Wii's are selling like hotcakes, and greedy developers are cashing in. The problem is that even though we avoid these terrible cash-ins, parents who don't know better don't. Take the adventures of Zack and Wiki. Sounds terrible, doesn't look great but apparently it's a well thought out, well made point and click puzzler. The problem is that nobody's going to buy it because it doesn't look so good, whilst people spend the money on brand names like spiderman, even though it's not worth a fiver. That's the problem with the gaming industry.

translation- the wii is so popular at the moment that third party gaming companies are taking advantage of this. even though us as expert in good gaming now what to avoid, parents DO NOT and while good games that look crud like Zack and Wiki are missed out rubbish ones are bought despite not being worth the £40 price tag
and for the record pyro the only version of spiderman 3 that sucks is the wii version, the other next-gen consuls can manage movie tie-in games ok.
my main complaint here is that nintendo needs a new gaming mascot, the usual 3 are getting boring, these only so long that playing as an italian plumber can be exciting

Sonic can run for a long time. Thye changed him from Alex Kidd. Yeah they do need a new mascot.

mario is nintendo's most populat charecter they made and the one most people can remember when people talk about nintendo.

Oh yeah, Mario's instantly recogniseable and world famous.
Not a person who doesn't know who Mario is, apart from the odvious of little kids and really old people

what?! i never said to get rid of mario! what i meant is that nintendo needs more main characters rather then concentrating on mario, samus and link (there's no STARFOX game on the wii)
the other companies have tons better games like: heavanly sword, WARHAWK, MGS4:GOTP
