So Naughty Dog are releasing the game The Last Of Us which is a big deal since their one of the greatest games development teams at Sony's disposal. Soon they'll be releasing a demo and the big news on it out at the moment is that you need to buy God Of War: Ascension to buy it.
Yeah. The thing is after playing God Of War 3, I just hate the franchise. It sucks. I play games for storylines and despite the claims that they have award winning script-writters the story is just lackluster, it's just some angry guy killing a bunch of people but more then that the idea that I have to spend £40 on a game I don't even like so I can try out a demo for a game I do like?!
Insanity, so thanks Sony! Thanks for taking a great demo away from me so you can sell off another, shows both the amount of faith you have in God Of War and the way you see The Last Of Us. Seriously who else thinks placing Demos onto new releases instead of on the digital store is just the next in a long line of selfish ideas the games industry has?

I do in some ways. It is so much easier to push a demo on a "big" title than it is to leave it to peoples devices to find for themselves.
Simple as.

See that's the thing, I'm not sure if Sony have no faith in God of War or The Last Of Us when the former is a blockbuster franchise and the latter comes from a highly respected development team (Naughty Dog - Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted...ETC). I guess if they release it later to the general audience it'd be ok.
