Eh, he's probably used to it by now. I mean, there's one clip of him reading the 3 Little Piggies for a comedy show thing. 'tis fun.

True. In other news I might be going to Comic-Con so why does that make me feel so nervous?

Welp, it's a gathering of great nerdittude, but there'll be lots of people you don't know, soooo it makes sense that you'd feel nervous. Remember to pack lotsa food and drink, cons always need a lot of that stuff.

Yeah, I'm going with my brother, sister and mum though so it's not like I'll be on my own and yes I am feeling extremely nervous about the whole thing although I'm hoping it won't be as bad as what I've heard about the American comic-cons. (Maybe it's a British thing for us men to be more respectful towards women)

You've heard bad things about American comic-cons? I've heard nothing but good stuff. I dunno, maybe it just depends on who you hang out with. Bear in mind, your comic-con experience maaaaaay be a little hampered if you have family with you the whole time - Not everyone appreciates nerd culture and whatnot.

Bear in mind, your comic-con experience maaaaaay be a little hampered if you have family with you the whole time - Not everyone appreciates nerd culture and whatnot. Well I mean you hear certain stories from certain people (usually women) who talk about how certain guys act up, they note that it's not everyone but that when it does happen almost usually nobody does anything about it. Maybe it's do with the majority of people who get into Nerd culture being afraid of confrontation, This is the first one I'm going to though and my brother's coming so chances are we'll just walk around checking stuff out. The only annoying thing is Marvel since in the UK we're really far behind (We've only just got to Avengers Vs X-Men where as the US readers have read through at least 10 books worth of Marvel Now) which is annoying since you can buy Marvel Now books in the UK, I've got one and wow it's awful. I got the Deadpool book The good, the bad and the ugly and it's the worst Deadpool story I've ever read. It starts out pure awesome deadpool and then well let me put it like this, imagine if Batman comics gave The Joker a backstory, a clear cut "this is he's real origin" backstory and then had him acting all emotional. THAT. Is what this story did to Deadpool. But yeah my sister's coming since she's interested in the whole event so everyone who's coming is doing so since they have an open mind. That and they've been around me enough to know what people such as myself are like.

Well that's good, hopefully it'll be fun.
And yeah, the Deadpool 'tragic backstory' ones are always lame - I'm glad they pointed this out in the Deadpool game too.

It's not that it's a tragic backstory but that they explain it as official canon of the 616 universe, as in there being actual physical evidence in the storyline to prove that it's the true storyline, For instance there's this weird drug that causes mass hallucinations and that's why Deadpool had all the other weird origin stories. The drug is real since another guy who worked for Department K (the guys responsible for helping create Captain America, Wolverine, Nuke, Fantomex, Deathlok and Deadpool) uses the drug on Wolverine. It sucks since it takes a great character and then explains away all the fun insanity as drugs while explaining away the origins oh and it turns out that Deadpool had a wife and child who both died. Marvel needs to hire someone who can write about married people. I mean there's only two married couples in the whole of the 616 universe, I'd love to see Peter and Mary-Jane as a married couple, I just think the marvel universe needs to lighten up a bit.

Silly Timewarp, how can comic book writers write about married couples when they don't even have girlfriends? Nah, but seriously, nowadays it's very rare to see married couples in anything. It's like narrative hasn't evolved past 'And They Lived Happily Ever After'. Hopefully though this'll change soon, what with stuff like Sherlock having happily married couples who are actually still interesting characters.

I want to see the part where their happily married. The only couples you see are characters who got married before the show/comic/movie/game/book's story begun and even those end badly. Did the majority of story-writers witness their parents go through messy divorces and are now inclined to believe there's no such thing as a happy marriage? I'd like to see certain characters being happily married. Also it's not really asking for what they think married life would be like, more of what would these two characters be like if they got married.

Well, they say comics are like superpowered soap operas, so I suppose the reason is the same as the reason nobody has a lasting relationship in Eastenders, ie. happiness doesn't sell as well as half-assed tragedies.

Well, they say comics are like superpowered soap operas, so I suppose the reason is the same as the reason nobody has a lasting relationship in Eastenders, ie. happiness doesn't sell as well as half-assed tragedies. Also both have the habit of forgiving people for the most immoral of crimes just because they said sorry Vision: Did you try and kill me again? She-Hulk: Yeah that was totally not cool and I'm sorry Vision: I FORGIVE YOU IMMEDIATELY! Superman: Did you try and- Batman: I'M NOT SORRY! BATMAN AWAY! *Batman jumps off and glides away* Superman: I...forgive...you? Also I'm annoyed that Batman isn't in the Marvel universe, there's a few guys I'd really want to be put in their place by Batman. Like for instance Captain America. I know I keep talking about super-heroes but this just got me thinking, if these characters were in the same universe (basically imagine a universe where elements from both worlds are in the same world) then wouldn't Batman have access to Viburnum and Adamantium? Or wouldn't Bruce Wayne have received training from the best which would be a weird combination of Taskmaster and the guys in the DC world who trained him (I'm not sure if Batman Begins was off canon by having Ra's Al Ghul train him). So when people say Batman Vs Captain America what their really saying is... Captain America Vs Batman (with an Iron Man suit, with training from the most skilled marvel fighter and all kinds of hidden surprises that Steve wouldn't know about). From what I've seen Batman doesn't do anything half-assed so he'd know just how much he could beat Steve before causing serious damage. I mean heck he could beat Cap without the Iron Man armor.

Naturally - I mean, Captain America's abilities include super-strength and frisbee. Basically Killer Croc can do the same things, except he also has a super advantage underwater, heightened sense of smell, enhanced healing, as well as claws and teeth. So, yeah, Batman's superpower (Adaptability) kiiinda beats him there, if he'd be at a disadvantage against one of Batman's second-rate enemies.
But yeah, She-Hulk's a bit of a liability, since she seems to do more team kills than anyone else. And that includes Deadpool.

Well it's super ok though since She-Hulk was being controlled by The Scarlet Witch who also killed Ant-Man, Jack of Hearts and Hawkeye but it's ok since she's NEVER, EVER coming back on the-oh yeah she's on the team again.
Sometimes I think marvel characters just go along with whatever bullcrap someone says, I mean if you'd just murdered someone and then another person who has the authority to have you in super-jail forever says "Well Haunter was this because the evil sorcerer had you under his mind-control!" your not gonna turn around and admit to murder.
But yeah Batman Vs Captain America is REALLY one sided. Now Batman Vs Black Panther on the other hand...yeah Black Panther is like Batman if he was a Marvel character. I really hope they let him kill Namor.

What wonderful nonsense this all is. ^^ Ah... Feels like I never left! Oh, Haunter, you asked what I prefer to be called? Meh, I'm so used to FM5 on here that I don't care. But I would equally respond to Bree, as that is my official nickname as I roam outside in the world desperately seeking for, what else?, peace in my life. Also Flamey works. I'm not really concerned about people using my name anymore. I used to be SO paranoid, I wouldn't even show anyone a picture of myself. ^^' Now I'm...different. Sorta numb here and there inside, fear really doesn't suite me. Anyhoo! I agree. I believe TLCR can still come back as well. I've had ideas floating in my head about how I'd like it to look for a New Age, but the concept that it is a safe haven for like-minded, or not-so-like-minded, people can come here to speak freely without judgment. As long as, of course, everyone is courteous to each other when voicing said free speech. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all! XD But yeah. It is very nice to see that this place has brought some real good to people. I really had no idea how much influence it has had amongst you guys. Heh, I thought it was only helping me through my younger years. :] Hmmm... I have a lot of advertising I need to do. I am currently unemployed, I was laid off my work a few months ago. I'm now home with my mom, her husband Danny, and my sister Shell. My sister and I have decided to make our own online business instead. As a forum admin, and now a co-manager of shop Gyokii©, I will be needing to create an affiliation link between the two and spread the word however much as I can. This may be the peace I'm looking for. :3
