So just now I took it upon myself to delete a new member of the site. From what I saw they took it upon themselves to add a series of threads with what I thought to be offensive imagery and seems to just be another spam account.
I based this on the amount of threads the person had posted as well as the username but if I have got the wrong idea then one of the other mods can easily undo the ban in place. I'm also deleting any of the person's posts since they have no relevance to any of the threads they've been posted in. I know FM5 might think I've gone over her head but she hasn't been her in ages and I do not want her coming back to a bunch of crap from a spammer,
I've got a sneaking suspicion and I'm really hoping that I'm wrong here but from the sounds of the username it sounded like R Searchie/Eri having come back for some form of petty revenge although I think I might be jumping the gun a bit and I'd really hope Eri wasn't so petty as to try and ruin the site. (Seriously if you're reading this I'm sure FM5 would just let you on if you asked) so bottom line, the deleted stuff was me, member's been banned. If I've overstepped my boundries it was all well-intended.

Sorry to double post but to whoever keeps making these posts. I don't care how many times you do this, I have all the time in the world to keep banning all of you're new accounts and deleting you're posts.

Woo, first piece of excitement in this forum for yonks!
But I seriously doubt it's Searchie - She's not generally the petty type, and last I heard, she got something of a life, so I doubt she'd even have the time. So, in short, it don't match her M.O., if she wanted to cause trouble, she'd do so very directly, because say what you will, she was always pretty gutsy.
It's probably just some person with no social life at all, one that's so lame he or she can't even afford to troll POPULAR forums, and has to resort to outdated ones that are barely active anyway.
Oooon the other hand, gratz on your first banning Timewarp, you always wanted to get around to using your admin powers!

Well my first, second and third banning. The hacker/troll came back two more times and it was obviously the same person. As for R Searchie, I didn't think it was her so I'm glad it's just me being paranoid. It's just that R Searchie is the only person with a reason since as you put it this is a barely active forum site that isn't all that popular (as in not many people know about it) so I can't imagine the kind of sad lowlife who would even bother to do this.

It's cool, like I said I just didn't want you coming back to the forums and finding it'd been ruined by a bunch of trolls and spammers. I know not a lot of people come to this site but I take my moderator status seriously,
I still think of this site picking back up again. Maybe a reunion where a lot of the guys who've quit (don't worry I'm not doing THAT post again) and a lot of the guys who've moved on from the site can come back. Maybe we'd even get a few new members.
Although have you noticed how 90% of the guys on the internet are just the worst? I mean they are just insulting, hate filled messes who just want to destroy you. I go to places like youtube and I'm really not surprised that a lot of people are being cyber-bullied into suicide and it's a shame since if these people were to find the light castle then I'm sure they'd find that it's a lot cooler then other places.
I mean this is the place where when Crystal Shadow felt she was being bullied you took action. Not a moderator, you the admin of the site and yeah it was me but maybe I had it coming to me a bit back then. I wasn't the nicest of people but what I'm getting at is that even back then I was pilot fish compared to these guys. Maybe the site could come back to being what it used to be IF it could somehow advertise itself as a site where people like Crystal Shadow can come without being harrased.
As someone who used to be bullied I can tell you it makes all the differance knowing you can come somewhere and just talk about anything you want without having the jerks who just ruin the internet. (Seriously when the internet crashes, the jerks who ruined it will just assume it was someone else who did it)
I know it's silly but my point is that I still think TLCR can be that place so while it's not I want to keep it clean. I've been to a lot of site as well and I can tell you the people who aren't trolls and spammers want a site where they don't have to put up with the arguments and constant attacks.
(YES. I get the irony but I swear I've changed blah blah blah, I'm not the same guy blah blah matured blah. You get the picture and I don't have to make the same post I've made for the past 10 or so years)

A lot has changed, but I like to think TLCR's still a place which accepts peeps, regardless of whatever. When I was younger, I didn't quite get it either - Actually, I think irt's only relatively recently that I've stopped being a deranged puppet master and total control freak.
... Okay, maybe I'm still working on those, but at least now I'm more subtle about it.
