I was just thinking about Avengers (or for us Brits Avengers Assemble) and I just realized, when Thor hits Iron Man with the lightning how come the suit was able to absorb all of that energy and not burn out? You actually hear J.A.R.V.I.S explain that the Iron Man suit is at around 440% which is just stupid.
Basically if your at 100% that's the maximum so anything over 100% should be excess energy. So what Tony Stark's suits can hold around three times over the amount of energy that the suit can hold? You'd think even something as powerful as Tony Stark's Iron Man suit would have at least some problems taking in four times the amount that he's suit could usually hold. At best Tony's would have been left looking like an idiot when he's only defense against Thor burns out due to taking in too much energy.
I know it's nitpicking but it seemed really childish, as in "IT'S OVER 9000!" Childish, just putting a really big number in there to establish that you got a lot, also
If it's normal lighting/thunder then really how much energy can that suit hold?
If it's magic asgardian lighting...HOW MUCH ENERGY CAN THAT SUIT HOLD?!
