Dont worry its not a rant. I just want some help.
Latley ive been reading the Rp board here and i want to get back in. I kind of stopped the Parallel and 5 crystal sub-plot in the day and night thread. I just lost intrest in it.
Anyway, ive been wanting to join in on of the threads but i dont know what to write since some people posted before and made it more confusing. Can anyone help get my Role-Play motivation back so i can roleplay here and other forums?

HMMm you coudl also joni NUi with a new charcter or a stroy of rebirth.

Motivation eh? I got a couple of ideas... For one thing, writing in an RPG story is very similar to writing a proper book. Ya need inspiration. Go out there, watch TV, read books, whatever, but acknowledge interesting storylines. Take one or two basic ideas from such storylines, and twist them into your own. That way, your character will have their own personnal storyline to follow, and not blindly blunder through wherever the RPG goes. Also, remember to make your character visible. It's all too easy to be forgotten and left behind in an RPG... Oh! And try not to control other people's characters, or interfere with their storylines. I've seen a couple of people do that, even some who have been in loads of RPGs before... *Cough cough* And if you can, try to give your character detail. And at some point, explain their past. Gives 'em a little more... 'Oomph'. And try to keep up with the action. It's easy to be left behind... And have fun! (Those are just ideas. You use 'em if ya want!)

I agree with Haunter. Those are VERY good points to RPing in a story. Yes, your character has been in a few of my stories, but I think your character(s) need their own story. If an RPG story is owned by you, it's not as easy to get left behind. Why? Because the story is revolved around your character(s), their past, their purpose, their mission and actions. Then others join you or go against you - or create enemies to face your characters. I definitely think your own story would be a good idea. ^_^ I think you'd enjoy that, Seachie!
