Here is where artwork that i place on deviantart is going to be placed on TLCR. At the moment due to me not having a laptop and knowledge of how to put pictures of my work onto deviantart there is nothing. Zippo. UPDATE - 7/4/09 I'm using my PSP to upload this files of my work. 1- Timewarp (1st attempt) This was my first attempt at drawing my main character timewarp of course i wasen't that good a drawer back then and i'm still proberly not that good.  2 - Raiden Alley for timewarp and one of the only female character to appear in the strories i make. She looks like Modestly Hot RL Timewarp, JIBBLE, JIBBLE!  3 - Salvador My favourite enemy from Resident evil 5  4 - Zombie Noid Avoid the noid! 0_0  5 - Licker They've been in the movies and the games, people infected with the G-Virus transform into slightless monsters who can only see through sound. I return to bring you more drawings from The Timewarp. Seeing as this is where it all started, it seemed like a great place for my showing of artwork. (Even though I have a Deviantart account). It all started in the year of 07', Nintendo master prowled as a moderator, Haunter was excactly the same and CrystalShadow complained a lot with ancient forum trolls leaving messages of such thing. But 2007 was also the year of the beginning of a special character, an awesome character who we are all gratefull for. I am of course talking about a certain bounty hunter named Jango Fett Dog TIMEWARP For the first time in non-animated drawing history. I present. Timewarp.  Of course this is one possibly armor to Timewarp. In the future this template will be used to draw Vortex, Timmathy Cain, Dern and other possibly characters. Although I'll get back to practicing hands and feet. I suck at those. |

Those pictures are actually really cool.
Personally, I can't draw humans, yet you make it look so easy.
Aah, you have to tell me how to draw humans, I can't draw them to save my life. ><
You're better than you actually let on.
You made it sound as if you were really bad, but this isn't bad.
True, with practice comes perfection, but I KNOW you can become better.
I believe in you AND your abilities TW. ^^

You have greatly improved!
I myself have great issues with human drawings--I do much better when it comes to armor, or even monstrous shapes. So your talent, though I see you've struggled as well, is amazing.
Together, we will get better! ^^
And now I finally know what to picture Timewarp as--thankfully, I wasn't off by a lot! :3

Wow. Thanks for the nice comments guys. At the moment I'm deciding on making some changes to Timewarp. Not big changes but a few alterations to the armor (The shin pads for instance). Also when I can get round to it I've got two more pictures to upload.

Seriously, I love how it all looks kinda modern, but kinda spaceage too.

The next picture is ready to be uploaded, I was going to also upload Vortex but I think I might think about redrawing him. The design looks a little bland at the moment for him and I think a villian like Vortex deserves a little more work on the costume design. Though I do have a drawing of the odd psychotic Dern to show you. This design took me by surprise. The idea is that he of course wears cactus-like kevlar as skin along with Blades on each hand. Hopefully when he gets coloured you'll be able to see just how psychotic this character is  |

At the moment characters like Tucker and Kaplan are the kind of characters I want to wait till I get good enough at drawing faces. I got lucky with Timewarp's helmet as it is, there's also a few other things I want to do like Concept Art for a small indie game and perhaps a few locations.

Yeah, in the second year of my games course we're making indie games. I think I'm going to be in a group with Haunter and make a game that he came up with, we're working with these two other guys (I won't name them as they might not want me to) to make it.
As for the tips on drawing humans, to be honest it's something you pick up. I find it works best if you try drawing in an unrealistic cartoon style though one of the things that will really help is Manga. It has a simply way of drawing people. Though it would be hard to explain through the internet.
Books like The complete book of drawing manga by peter grey help. They show diagrams of the framework you need to draw out to create a character though in the long run I think it works best if you try your own techniques. The head for Timewarp for instance is just the head of this minion character I drew using Chibi techniques. In fact to be honest when I started this I wasn't thinking of drawing Timewarp and it kinda just took over from there.
From there I used the manga. Hands and feet are something I've yet to master but I've found when you find hands to hard just draw them as fists, that way details like fingers and knuckles are easier to leave out intill you get enough time to perfect them. I really hope this is enough to help you out, I know most of what I've said may not be much help but really the best advice I can give you is you are going to fail. But that dosen't mean your bad. Just that you should try again.

Sorry to double-post but I just wanted to annouce that soon I'll be uploading some of more character designs I've been drawing up recently at college. I've finished two new characters that you won't know much about and a redesign for Dern (I had a go at redrawing and the new design looks slightly more realistic then my original drawing)
At the moment though I've got one week to finish a 3D Enviroment for college and my laptop decided to die on me (Once again perfect timing Laptop) so I'll be in crisis mode while I work out how to make things work out I can get some more time to finish my work. (Don't worry as soon as I can I'll upload the next three pics)
