I am sick and tried of computer games getting the blame for everything that goes wrong in the world. If you go onto any site and type in stuff like "Video games Knife crime" I gurantee there will be at least one topic about the two being linked.
Resident evil 4 should appreantly not be sold and is too violent for even adults. Sheesh the women who came up with this crap has proberly never played a game in her entire life.
The gaming industry is being blamed for - Obesity, Knife crime, loss of literacy, Lack of decent football players.
Heck even macdonalds are blaming the gaming industry for obesity (Pot calling the kettle black anyone?)
and people like robert green are suggesting we go round to every home tossing out the consoles,
SERIOUSLY I AM SICK TO DEATH WITH HEARING ABOUT HOW MY FAVOURITE PASTTIME IS TO BLAME FOR JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING!
Gordan brown is using us as a scapegoat and he knows it. I know he hasen't been PM for long but i still don't think he has any right to turn on gaming.

The people who do the crime should blame their own self control, self restraint and lack of morales.
STOP PUTTING THE BLAME ON US YOU MORONS!

it's mostly politicians actually. Their asked "What are you going to do to combot knife crime?" so they turn around and say "Well you'll have to get rid of video games their to blame" then make up fake satistics to proof that we're all violent socialpaths and in CS15 shadow loving violent socialpaths (Which she isn't but it's fun to assume she is!"
maybe next they'll put us in concentration camps. . .

i believe that there are some games that are to blame, but you shouldnt generalise. Its really the parents fault for letting them buy the games or buying the games for them. And McDonalds saying games cause obesity is ironic seeing that their food makes 73% of the 10 fattest people in the world XD.

I'm obssessed with Shadow and all, but I don't go around everywhere saying they exist in a nearby galaxy Do I?
Same with the crime. People SHOULD know the difference between gaming and reality.

how are games getting too violent? Games are not violent, society is! Games do NOT contribute to gaming violence as everyone has a choice, you'll know which one is right and wrong but in life it's up to you to decide, choose the wrong choice and you go to jail! EASY AS THAT!
the "gamiest" community don't give a crud though and in their eyes it's easier to blame games then solve the real root causes for knife crime and obesity

i still don't see why we should get the blame for it. Seriously i play a lot of games that people who've wrote articles for the daily mail consider to be too dangerous and i turned out just fine
GTA 4 - is brilliant, shoot people they die. No blood, No Gore, NO KNIFES! Resident evil 4 - i've completed this about 7 times now, am i thinking about knifing some person to death now? NO! Kane & Lynch - Awesome! though if a bit tricky. . .
