This is for people who think that the anti game threads are stupid. Everyone is allowed there own opinion. Why do we need these anti threads? I mean come on. We know some people don't like sonic and some people don't like mario, but some people don't like Zelda or Crash or Final Fantasy, but you don't see them creating a thread for them.
If your going to have one anti game franchise thread then you pretty much have to have one for every game franchise so as to be fair to people who don't like those franchises.
You also have to have a non-anti thread for those who love those franchises.
This is of course my personal opinion.
I am boycotting any anti game franchise threads because I like pretty much all the main franchises.
Sonic
Mario
Mario Kart
Smash Bros
Crash (though he has his ups and downs)
Final Fantasy
Dragon Quest
GTA
Need for Speed
Resident evil (though i don't buy them)
Zelda
Metroid
The only games I really can't stand are games like Man Hunt with excessive gore and blood and nothing but killings (At least in games like GTA they don't have OTT blood and fore) and games based on films or books because they add bits to the storyline and remove bits and generally make the book/film seem suckish.

I've seen Manhunt played at school(for media class) and I refused to play it on the grounds that it's just a despicable idea for a game. The game itself sucked, and was basically a broken stealth game where you just stabbed somebody repeatedly until they died. It was a poor game where a bad mouthed director swore at you telling you to kill some random jerks who were in some wierd place for no real reason. So yeah, manhunt was a terrible game.

Poor cap shock, in trying to create an Anti-Anti gaming thread, people are starting on manhunt (Not that i like it just that insulting it kinda defeats the object of this thread) I argree, why make a thread for a game you don't like it's just stupid, it would be like me making a GTA thread so i could slag it off (GTA 4 looks ok though i have to edmit) |

Well technially your wrong about it going against the meaning of this thread. The meaning of this thread is that creating a thread PURELY against a particular game where you can't mention that games is, in my opinion, dumb.
I have nothing against the GTA games because the violence and robbery is at least partially optional and it does show what happens in big cities (though i on't think it happens to quite that extent, but it may do). Well actually thats a lie. I do have one problem and that is that it gives people ideas that robbery and stuff is something you can do and get away with which may encourage people to do it if they are despearate or bored because they may get away with it.

Though i disargree that GTA Encourages people to do these crimes, i don't like the idea that most of them are clones of GTA1 With minor differances. GM (Morons/Intelligent people of gaming) were all "LOOK IT'S GOT NEXT-GEN GRAPHICS IT'S AWESOME!" because their noobs.
Seriously they've never played WWESMACKDOWNVSRAW09 and they were stating it was good last month cos of NGG (Next-gen-graphics)

People who copy these type of things from games, have no morals, and obviously have no purpose in life.
A common sensed person would say "It's a game, I don't have to go out and copy these things, ultimately, I'm not a lowlife... WITH NO LIFE"
Only morons would go out and commit these things, it's utterly stupid.

Yeah but their are some people that actually can't tell the differance (NOT GAMERS!) they see something in a game and for reason their brain tells them that it must be acceptable to behave like that in society.
Though this people clearly have something wrong with them and should be in a special place where people can help them. Manhunt 2 shows you where you'll be going if your like this and play the game!

appreantly on the release day of GTA 4, some poor guy was stabbed to near death. Everyone in the crowd though it was a publicaty stunt intill the police and paramedics came to deal with it.
Terriable when so many gamers are attempting to show that games don't contribuate to knife crime, GTA 4 didn't cause this but there's no doubt it'll be blamed for this event.
