well, no, not really. SEGA's actually selling dreamcast games in this day and age, as in 2007! =D they're selling them to Japan through their SEGA Direct service. So the dreamcast is still going, not like next-gen consoles, but it's afloat I guess.
Ace!

wow! We used to have a dreamcast. It was a great console, but we had most of the great games for the system-about 15. That was it's problem- a lack of great games. Still, it had the Sonic Adventure series, Sonic Shuffle-rare(i found it in france I believe!) but a real gem, Rush 2049-such a great driving game, Chu Chu Rocket, Skies of Arcadia, my friend had a great airboarding game. The dreamcast had some good games, but there weren't that many, and there was basically no advertising for the console. That's why it failed so badly.

no they can't i don't think they have enough money and they need investners that after the dreamcast probely don't have any faith in sega though i heard about a consoul called I-GAME maybe this is the new sega last ditch attempt at making games.

They could just make Megadrive styled Sonic games, old sonic fans would buy it and they'd get money, maybe not enough to launch consoles again. But they can atleast say they made a good Sonic game for recent years.
SEGA Games are the really important thing here, the console's irrelevant

Most people are saying that they should make a good side scrolling Sonic game. But how do you make a next gen 2d side scroller that doesn't look like it belongs in the 1990's?

.....Sonic Rushes! =D Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush adventure are way cool, a little lengthy with storylines and speech, but gameplay, way great
