The problem with game reviews on the internet is that very often the companies that do them either are biased, don't truly apreciate the game franchises like fans do or are just plain stupid(like the guy who didn't know the diference between rings and coins). So who can we trust to tell us what game is great and what isn't worth our time? The answer-each other. I propose that we write our own game reviews and post the here for others to read.
There are a few rules.
*You need to have finished the game(last boss)
*You need to write a small intro of the game that does not contain too many spoilers
*You need to write the good parts AND the bad parts of the game AND your own conclusion.
*NO SPOILERS. These will be a guide whether to buy or not, so don't reveal much.
What do you guys think?

wow great idea Pyro. (We locked the sonic heroes thread coz we resortedto talking about sonic if he were fat)
Well I have complete many games. Can I write a review on Shadow the hedgehog?

Oh yea if we resort to Sonic being fat we've definently gotten bored. Yeah I too have completed many games I might try this.

and yes i did complete it i can prove it but it would just be ruining the end of Zelda: Twilight Princess for everyone also pyro you would be baised with SATSR as well

Not really actually. I have my own views on the game, and I feel that I'll be able to make a fair report on the game. It has it's good parts and it's bad parts.

Title: Shadow the hedgehog
Consoles: Gamecube, PS2 (please correct me on this)
The intro
Shadow is standing next to a tree wondering about his past. He suddenly has a flashback of running with Maria. Maria is shot by a GUN soldier. Suddenly the sky turns red and a hole appears with different aliens of all shapes and sizes coming through. Shadow states that he does not have time for these humans and turns away. He is greeted by a hologram of the leader of the alien race Black Doom. Black Doom says that Shadow must find all the seven Chaos Emeralds. Shadow asks why Black Doom knows his name. This question is not answered as bombs blow up in the area. Shadow then realises that he must get them if he wants to realise his past. He then skates off into the city for the first level. lol.
The Good points
1) The fact you can CHOOSE which path you can take. Not following the same alignment each time (unless you want to)
2) You get characters that help you.
3) AWESOME musics and CG clips and cutscenes.
The Bad points
1) You can't aim with the guns so you can't kill the aliens easily.
2) Very hard controls with running.
3) Deaths are common
My overview
I LOVE THIS GAME. It helps fill some plotholes into Shadow's past. But now he's cashed in his 'I am a mystery' coupon what else could be in store for him. This game brought answers to every die-hard shadow fan.
The levels were good. Especially the ARK levels they were cool. The music was awesome apart from Alomost Dead..that was...disturbing lol. The CG was COOL. Especially Super Shadow. The last boss was quite hard. It was a challenge (to me anyway)
Overall this game is cool....
8/10 (remember this is shadow...remember what I am)
There you go is it good enough?
I'll redo it if it wasn't

Twas a good review. I believe it's also avaliable on the x-box. It's not really relevent for this one, but if you're doing one for the Wii remember to do controls.

title: Legand Of Zelda Twilight Princess consuls: gamecube, nintendo wii the intro really just starts with link talking to some guy who you then later dicover the name of, like all the others you start having to do simply tasks like finding someone's cat, the game picks up but for now you get a basic sword and do easy tasks good points *the levels are fun and challenging good design and the puzzles are great fun *the game is long enough and isn't over too soon 3 months apreantly for the average gamer pity i'm not the average gamer  *graphics are brilliant have you seen them GEARS OF WAR LIKE *they have re-deads which are cool and scary espcailly if you've never seen them before in a game (don't know if thats a real reason!) *the music the music IS really good *you don't have to have played the other zelda games to like this *the sub-missions BAD POINTS *fishing on the wii version is HELL  it took me ages to catch the first fish in the game *boss's are too easy with basic ways of killing them easy method to kill them: avoid hit SLASH avoid * enemies are too easy to kill by which i mean TOO EASY! well i don't know about anyone else by i found them easy apeart from re-deads when you get a new item you only use it for the temple you get it in and rearly use it anywhere else overall Zelda: TP a great zelda game for most of the hard-core zelda fans and people who've never ever played a zelda game in their lifetime. i liked the game but the bosses could have been harded to defeat that and they could have possed more of a threat to you. the last two boses though were probely the most easiest and last time i checked the last boss is suppose to be the hardest apeart from that it's the best zelda game espcailly as you can turn into a wolf im sure i'm not ruining anything if i am then sorry  , i would recomend it though as being too easy isn't a crime and i persernally hate game that i can't complete it was just a bit too easy for my liking but other then that you should buy it or everyone will laugh at how silly you are! (note people may or may not laugh at you, you may just be paranoid!) 7 and a half/10 |
