well I was a little bored and in Best Buy one day. So I decided to slap down a few bucks for this turn based RTS called
Space Empires V. At first I found this game extremely complex. You can costumize just about everything but what the ships look like. Then I found a feature called ministers. These little guys basicly will automaticly take care of certain things you tell them to. So while I wage war, they keep the imperium running.
But aside from that it is a grand game. It combines elements from many different scifi novels and movies including Star Trek, Star Wars, Ring World, and probably others that I can't think of. Also you can make your own costumized races with you choosing their type of government, racial traits, society type, and even the type of planet they prefer. It really is an cool game but it really is hard to learn. Even I don't know how to work some features still.
