I agree. I can imagine him in FF.
But, as usual, you manage to excel in the field of art. I remember you saying how you do it but when you do it doesn't look like it; it all looks like it's been drawn by you. I should upgrade my art thread. I have a few pieces.

Well, to be honest, some parts I DID draw!
Like his hair... Geez! Frickin' irritating to re-draw parts I had to cut off just to make things work right! XD
And his necklace! And nails! Those are REAL jewelry peeps! Like seriously, I could BUY that necklace if I wanted to. ^^ (I would if I had more money...)
But yeah, to get those the right size and color, and to SIT RIGHT on his chest...
*head explodes*
That did take some drawing on my part. XD
So, yeah, I have my ways. ^^
I'm looking to do all of the Prism boys if possible, even if they aren't all traditionally like a profile stance. I can't be picky if I gotta have the right character look and personality - Shaydenn was a lucky find for the right pieces.
Even him being tall and slim is accurate because Shaydenn stands at 6'4"!
His twin Solis is a little heavier and 6'7", so he'll be a chore. XD

Character - Azul Prism
Age - 22yrs
Out of the 5 Prism brothers, Azul is known throughout the kingdom of Lloryncia for his kindness and utmost intelligence.
At the age of 12yrs, Azul fell ill to the Blight of Yuxe - a dark plague that kills slowly and painfully, driving some even mad - and found himself in the care of Dr. Eston Mikune. While a patient, he also became a student of sorts, and his curiosity about healing others would later become a major devotion in his life.
But... Will he himself ever be cured?I was going for a very specific look here with this picture. I wanted Azul to be exactly what he IS - kind, calm, and smart. Shaydenn needed a different set of characteristics entirely, so I think I gave Azul what he needed - he is handsome, but in a sweet and gentle way. And the wolf-like beast comes back, another Kalsamtorr is depicted. The creature is Yuxe, the monster that is responsible for the illness that Azul is plagued with in the story. So, putting the creature behind Azul in the picture is a sort of...reminder...that it is always there. |

Well, I updated my Facebook with art, but not this page yet, SO... I three more pictures to show! ^^ In order of creation:  Story - ALMEGA
Character - Jade Prism
Age - 27yrs
The eldest of the Prism brothers, and the primary provider of the family, Jade walks in the footsteps of his beloved father, Geni.
Jade is a Sword of Lloryncia, devoted to serving the kingdom and the well being of its people. He lives by a code of honor, and it is not easily broken.
Family comes before all else - over common folk, over royalty, and even over the gods.
With his ability to follow orders, and even give them just as well, Jade finds himself protecting not one ruler, but two!
But no matter what life brings, he only wants one thing: to see his father once more, whom he believes is alive and well despite the passing years.
Until then, there is an ever growing void in his heart.As mentioned, this is Jade. His clothes here are actually for being an Elite Knight, having been exalted by Queen Vesonae Sobih when she took the throne after the tragic death of the former ruler, King Nicholaus Lloryn. The faded image of Jade is in his old armor when he first became a knight. As his name suggests, he is given actual jade crafted armor by the Queen, as she has a special interest in her loyal protector. ;] I really love the contrast of color, and it was difficult getting his armor to look believable. Character - Solis Prism
Age - 25yrs
One of the twins (the other being Shaydenn) in the Prism family, Solis is known throughout the kingdom of Lloryncia for his inhuman strength.
Commonly nicknamed "god-spawn", Solis was sought out at the age of 18yrs by a wealthy nobleman named Mordgray Theroce, to employ him as a Theroce Brawler and make him his prize fighter in arena battles.
Solis has his power and aggression when needed, but off the fighting grounds he is quite the opposite - he is unusually peaceful and compassionate towards others, and he is more willing than most to give out his protection freely. In that way, he is very different than his twin.
He believes in justice being dealt, wrongs made into right, and he would see to it himself that he is responsible for both.
He also believes in his fist in your face, so don't cross him!Next is Sol. This bad boy stands at 6'7", a real giant by human standards. The only part of him that took the longest time was his HAIR - I wanted to strangle my pc screen because for awhile I couldn't get it RIGHT! I at least got it to look decent, and then I made sure his skin color was good, too. I LOVE his markings - I found a way cool tattoo, split it into pieces, and viola! I just made it blue - opposite to Shaydenn's red markings - and then he was set when I got his eyes to be red. ;] Otherwise, a few re-colorings on his armor here and there and he was a masterpiece. ^^ Oddly enough, I got very lucky with his weapon - he really DOES carry a crossbow on his back, as the only other weapon he needs for close-range is his fists. ;] ( Why a crossbow, you ask? Normally a large character like Sol would carry an axe or something, right?, but he doesn't need it with his kind of strength. However, I like the bow because if you put into the hands of Sol... You get arrows flying so fast and hard that it looks like a beam of lightning! Hence, "god-spawn". ;] ) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You THOUGHT Redd would be next, but alas... He is much harder to create perfectly. ;]  Story - ALMEGA
Character - Mistress Adarethue / "Hue"
Age - ??
A mysterious being believed to be a goddess by all who see her, Adarethue comes to young Redd Prism at the age of 10yrs to lead him astray from his normal life into a destiny full of peril in desperate need of a hero.
Hue, as Redd comes to simply call her, is motherly in nature, and she is known (by any that do know her for what she truly is) to nourish great potential in others.
Despite being somewhat otherworldly to humans, she loves humans most of all and protects them from those that would mean them harm.
She has a particularly strong bond with Redd and his family, and she would see to it that they are what saves her world from impending doom.Last is Adarethue, or full meaning "light of heavenly hue". Because of her name meaning, Redd naturally comes to only address her as Mistress Hue. :] She was quite an interesting undertaking, because there is NO PICTURES of any artistry of goddesses or the like with blonde curls at an older adult appearance that look anything like dearest Hue. I wanted to shoot myself. XD But -and this will be breaking my design secret on her - I found a picture of the Zora Queen from Twilight Princess, and her demeanor is JUST like Hue. And, strangely enough, her face was nearly perfect! So, I had a task to make this look like a painting, and then created curls and, haha, no fins! XD Instead, she became much like Princess Ariel from Little Mermaid and grew legs and a beautiful gown, with MANY colors! So, secret revealed! If I could draw her better myself, I just might fix any other details, and make her truly into what my head has pictured. I do like the innocence she provides in her appearance along with her beauty of that of a goddess, as she is believed to be at first. ^^ SO... Until next post! :3 |

Uber-epic!
Although if you'll allow me to nit-pick, what Sol is wielding there is either a shortbow or a longbow, not a crossbow. Crossbows were the ones involving simple locking mechanisms that fired bolts, shortbows are the regular Robin Hood-type ones. And longbows were like shortbows, only bigger, and powerful enough hit someone on the other side of the battlefield - Those were the ones you needed a really strong arm for.
Medieval history is a big thing in English history classes.
Still, love all these character designs - Certainly did an awesome job with Missy Hue.

Oh, I think I did mean a longbow, you are quite right.
Crossbows usually had bolts also as ammo, and that is certainly an arrow. XD

Story - ALMEGA
Character - Redd Prism
Age - 20yrs
The youngest of the Prism brothers, and the final choice to become a hero by Mistress Adarethue, Redd is known for a surprising amount of courage that was born out of nightmares.
A few months after his birth, Redd was attacked by a being called Deth'rakhaz in the town square of Lloryncia kingdom, resulting in the damage to his left eye and the death of his mother, Everde. Shortly after that, his father Geni was also called away to war against the distant land of Kvasir.
Without parents, Redd was left in the care of his close neighbors and, of course, primarily his eldest brother, Jade.
Redd has only known life through one eye, but that rarely limits his curiosity and sense of adventure. Saying that, he was drawn to the appearance of Mistress Hue, and the future she brought him was also not easily ignored or declined.
Redd is passionate and an idealist, so becoming a hero to save the world comes with little effort as he reaches out to help those who need him - whether it be a nobleman, peasant, or otherwise.
But there is a darker side to the young savior of Almega, shown to him only by his dreams...
Can he save the world from himself?Yep, so I found great pieces to work with for dearest-to-heart Redd. :3 He took no more than 2hrs, and the coloring was actually pretty quick an easy. For this particular picture, it is oddly quite accurate - Redd truly does have a scene as an adult where he wakes up, goes out with no shirt on, and sits down in the grass on Mr. Cade's farm, all the while thinking about his new destiny that has suddenly been thrust upon him. Gotta be a little worrisome to save the world at first, yanno? ;] So, I grew fond of the pieces I found that made this pic possible. I LOVE it, I must say! XD |

I really love this character, so awhile back I had him re-drawn and re-colored quite a bit to get the feel I wanted. Oh, did I say 'him'? Well, that's not entirely accurate...  Story - ALMEGA
Character - Mirakon
Age - ??
Mirakon, as it is sometimes called, is a Reborn creature that is neither male nor female. For its more masculine voice, however, it is commonly assumed to be male, and treated as such by other Reborn.
As a being incarnate, it is The Mirror - imitating whatever it so chooses, and has the special ability to be able to 'mirror' even your deepest desires or your darkest dreams.
It is rather cheeky in nature, and is quick to demoralize others due to its high pride in its powers.
Mirakon is neutral with no allies or enemies, and its powers only come to those that earn it.
Saying that, it is the young hero Redd Prism that later encounters Mirakon and is trialed to earn its company.I <3 Mirakon. :3 |
