I'll admit it. I'm afraid of spiders. Of course I'm not one of those pansies that freezes up and screams like a five year old. Example: Upon finding a spider in the garage I grabbed a nearby shovel and beat it to death. I almost wonder if this even qualifies as a phobia anymore since I now go actively hunting them down. Not to mention I only bother with them when they're larger than a half dollar. Anybody got any thing they fear such as snakes, darkness, dogs, cats, clowns, guys with the name Bob?

I'm scared of spiders, various insects, deep water, heights, dark places and eerie silence... :[

...(Eerie Silence)...
ok the height one I think I have a little. In any game if my character takes a flying leap off anything greater than 10 feet my stomach feels like gravity just turned off.

Oh dear. This is really weird, but I have a fear of looking UP at heights. I've had it for ages, but no-one seems to believe me. Oh, and also I'm scared of huge spiders. Garden spiders, mind you. I think Tarantulas look cute! They're all furry. I hate those huge spiders that you find in, like, a garden shed. Also, I think the tiny ones are cute too, but I kill them after a while...

Assassin is a psyco. Erm, anyway. I have a fear of dogs, and a REAL big fear of faceless, human-shaped entities. They give me the creeps. Seriously.

THE FACE OF EVIL!!!!! Dog and cat phobias never made sense. looking up at heights did if you also happen to have just a straight fear of heights. your subconcious is likely thinking "what would happen if I jumped off that?"

Okay, relatively big-sized dogs. Y'know, the thought that, if I upset this thing, it's gonna bite. Cats run away. Dogs are called man's best friend, 'cos in ye olden times, man used them to hunt animals for food. I mean, I've seen dogs which are bordering on the line of WOLVES.

i don't know I've been attacked by a wolf dog and yet I'm not afraid of them. yet I haven't been attacked by spiders. Maybe its just that I know a dog, cat, Hyena, whatever vertabrate you have a phobia of will die if you kill it. Period. But spiders just keep coming. You kill one of them and then when you come back a minute later there's about twenty more of the little demons!

Yeah, but uh... Spiders can't kill you. At least, not the ordinary household ones you're talking about. Besides, the really dangerous ones tend to eat each other, therefore you won't find them in too large quantities... Whereas a nasty dog can tear out your windpipe!

I generally don't like anything with more than four legs. And I can't handle horror/slasher movies.. anything with excessive suspense or gore. I don't like being in dark water either.. I'm a synchronized swimmer, and I used to dive a bit, so I don't mind deep water at all. But dark murky water is just a bit creepy.

Oh, man, now we're getting into deep fears! XD I have a problem with dummies... Crash dummies are funny, but I mean the kind you use to act with. They scare me a lot. Those lid-less eyes... EEP! I'm also like Lili, I can't watch horror/slasher movies. I'm easy to frighten or gross out. Some people can take it, but I can't. I've had a past just full of fears my own imagination cooked up. I'm finally over most of my irrational childhood fears though, thankfully. I like dogs and I was biten as a child. Yeah, I have a scar on my face where it bit me. It was a medium-height dog, I think it was a Shelti? I think that's what it was. Still, I like big dogs and small ones. I had several German-Shepherds when I was young. Now just have little toy-breed dogs called Maltese. :] I'm scared of spiders, yeah. BUT... What's worse is BEES and WASPS! There is a lot of those here in Florida. I hate that buzzing sound... *cringes*
