Blink is a much-awaited episode of the sci-fi series, Doctor Who. Written by Steve Moffat, creator of 'The Empty Child' (Which was, in my opinion the scariest episode). This next one could be the second-scariest! Anyhow, SPRITES WILL COME!!! ... And that's awesome Timewarp! I gotta see it when you've finished!

OH YEAH, NOW I REMEMBER WHAT BLINK IS!!!
*Pauses time and stabs Joe Zombie repeatedly before shredding him to pieces, before blowing up the remains with an a-bomb.*
Cool sprites so far, hehe. You're awesome.

Ssh Toadette! *Kicks Toadette in the shins* *Joe Zombie, due to being unkillable, comes in and cuts her in half* ... Besides, it's nothing the do with Chaotic Power Theory. Progress started before that RPG was created. It's to do with a Flash project I'm involved in... And Toadette? All my work is an official secret. Therefore quit telling everyone my secret sprite projects, or I won't tell you about them. ... Aaaaaaaanyhow. Time to give the beginner's guide to spriting... Because I'm lazy and it'd be awesome to see Mystico do some sprites. Feel free to follow along with my simple step-by-step instructions. I make drawing spriting, FUN!! (1) Firstly, you find a sprite sheet to use as a base for your character.Try using a search engine, and type in 'The Spriters Resource'. When you've entered the website called 'The Spriters Resource', look in the SEGA section, go to the Sonic section, and choose 'Sonic Battle', and click the icon for Sonic. You see, Sonic in 'Sonic Battle' is the perfect sprite for a battling hedgehog character, as it is easy to recolour, and contains LOADS of fighting animations.(2) Now, paste the spritesheet into Microsoft Paint. Not any of those new posh ones, the basic real deal. Paint. Or uh, a different graphics package, if you use one of them naff computers from the other computer makers who no one likes. (NOTE - I only know Paint. If you use a different one, these instructions are probably useless)(3) Use the magnifying glass, to zoom in on your sprites, and choose the x10 setting. The x10 setting is just below the x8. It's hidden, and kinda hard to click. Now, comes the tricky part. (4) Choose a basic colour.Look up on the option buttons on the paint menu. Click 'Colors', then 'Edit Colors'. (Yes, Microsoft can't spell. What do you expect - The head of Microsoft has autism. He got angry and trashed a computer once. Just ignore spelling errors, and don't point it out like I have done) Now, think of what part of the sprite you're going to colour in first (Eg. the fur, sneakers, or spines) and choose the colour out of the giving option with is closest.(5) Colour in Shade Number 1.Now, this is why magnifying is ESSENTIAL. Now that you have your chosen colour, choose one shade of the 'default colour' (The colour already in the part of the sprite you're doing) and colour in that particular shade, using the colour you chose previously. Remember - ONLY COLOUR THAT SHADE, OR ONES SO SIMILAR TO BEGIN WITH THAT NO ONE COULD TELL THE DIFFERENCE.(6) Colour in Shade 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and however many shades there are.Go back to 'Edit Colors', (Where you chose the colour you wanted to colour with). Then, click 'Define Custom Colors >>'. Remember, keep the original colour. You will see a vertical bar with an arrow pointing into its side beside and image with dozens of colors. Drag the arrow up and down, to make the color's shades lighter or darker! Using this, you can colour in all shades of your sprite in approprite colours. REMEMBER - DON'T MAKE YOUR SPRITES TOO DARK OR BRIGHT, OTHERWISE YOUR SPRITE WILL LOOK NAFF.(7) Using the 'Pick Color' tool. Click the 'Pick Color' tool button. Using this, you can click a colour, and automaticaly have that exact colour and shade as your primary colour. Using this, you can ensure that all your sprites have the same colour, ensuring that they don't look a total mess. There's my dragon instructions Kaiser Mystico. And if that's not clear enough, then there's probably some way I can show you, using Toadette's account on MSN. Probably. Well, good luck!

Well, shades are different contrasts of colours. Y'know, brighter or darker. Brighter or darker shades of colour! And no, I don't have Flash yet, due to Pyro choosing to send Stirby an offline message... One day before we met up. Which, obviously, Stirby wouldn't have gotten. Which is why it is often smarter to use a phone, than E-Mail...

Okay, I'll try to get around to it. A word of warning though - Decent sprites of guys with beards are surprisingly hard to find... And also, I'm pretty busy, so there may be a delay... (Sorry)
