Is rain all that bad? I like rain. ^_^ It's soothing. If it rained a lot, and all the time, I would get bored of it too though. But, hey, rain makes snow for you peeps. ;]

rains alright but its when it mixes with snow, it turns to slush then ice

Yippee!!!
Snow's awesome and makes a huge change to the other weather you get in Florida.
Heck, I still jump around screaming when it snows!
I have no intention to stop yet.

Maybe because Florida's near the Tropics and that Britain's quite close to the Arctic Circle?

only reason why where cold most of the time is that we are one of the few countries where we get a cold snap most of the time
