I agree. Well, i'm not in Britain, but I can still agree on that. America does some dumb stuff to get attention. Like with Hurricane Katrina. They are building the wall back up to keep the water out. WHY?! It's just going to break again. What idiots. >_< Oh, it's all in the name of keeping the state with us! Dudes, Louisiana SUCKS! It's gross there. I have been through there on my way to SF7's house. Yuck! Who'd want to keep it?!  Anyhow... Near death experiences. I've nearly drown in the ocean, nearly drown in a pool as well. Our SUV WAS hit by a semi, thankfully it only scrapped the side. A car nearly hit me and SF7 while driving a year ago--jerk was weaving in and out of traffic on the OPPOSITE side of the road, so it would've been a head on collision. And... That's all so far. Hopefully those won't happen anymore, or the real thing anytime soon. ~_~ |

I almost had a near death experience while I was explaining this thread to my wife (insane really) But we were riding on a bull through Tai and she said something like: 'Well it makes things so much more interesting.' Then the guy steering our bull tripped over and startled the bull, and it freaked out and threw us off and started flipping Thankfully my wife wasn't hurt The bull however is being transferred to a farm in Tai, so sad... As for me I have a graze on my arm and apparently a concusion, but as long as my wife is fine, I'll be fine.  |

Ever since that I've been really protective over Xoi, I don't want her getting hurt, and all my senses have gone bonkers.
I wouldn't even let her stand on her own in a queue because the guy standing behind her was taller than her. ~_~
She said she wants me to see someone, I mean its been nearly a day from the incident but my moods and actions have drastically changed.
My head doesn't hurt too much, I mean I managed to sleep after the event, but I did triple lock every entry to the house, even the cat flap, my argument was: 'We don't have a cat!' and 'Burglers can be small too! Don't be so heightist!'
I closed all the doors and put a bell up so no one can come in without it going 'Briiiiing!'
And she decided to get back at me by getting a drink three times!
@_@ fair play...
I have been freaking out, but thats what near death experiences can do, either not phase you, enlighten you, or scare the light out of you.... meh... I'll be fine....

I think you'll be ok, Zigs. I agree that those experiences can just make you overly cautious. My sister was the one driving when the semi hit our SUV, and afterwards she didn't want to drive again for several months. Yeah, it puts a dent on you, that's for sure!

I have two more really funny and weird in my opinion 1) I went to Dover castle went I was little and I was at the highest point then a guy picks me up and puts me on the wall and at the back is a REALLY STEEP drop to the rocks below. I feel overn the side but my dad got hold of me before I dropped and he pulled me back up.The guy only wanted a picture taken lol. 2) I went to horse-riding lessons and I got on a horse and then it had a fit and I got thrown off and it's back hooves landed either side of my stomach too close too call |

i hate steep drops, might have been some kind of near-death acident.
though it may have been because when i was 4 i fell down the staries because my stupid dad leave the gate (we had a gate for the top and bottom of the staries) if that wasen't bad enough i hit my head on the bottom gate which was still closed @_@

yeah the Dover Castle one freaked me out badly...and the horse one was cool...it had a fit and it's back hooves landed eithe side of my stomach...ironnic...just a few inches to the right. XD

near-death expreancies can sometimes spook people you know they never want to go on a rollercoaster because they nearly died on one, that sucks cos it ruins their whole life FOREVER!

Did you know Rollercoasters can increase your chances of getting blood clots in your brain... Anyway, enough of scaring people, now onto the real science, physics... actually thats more or less the same subject Rollercoasters defy... After my near flying attempt down 14 floors, I decided it would be best to use an elavator... which was suddenly fixed after my near death, so I asked my wife to use it, have her keys out ready and make sure she knows how to throw (I got a slap for that). We reached the 13th floor, when the elavator stopped... and dropped... 4 floors! It wasn't a slow ride, it was as though we were going to implode! We took the stairs the rest of the way, screw the elavator, I want my life... Anyway, the guy came to fix the lift again, and he said: Stairs, elavators, I wonder what an escalator would do to ya! Hahaha - NOT!! I'm now having near death experiences in my sleep.... Anyway, Xoi just laughs about it, all the time actually... she phoned her mum just to tell her, I phoned my dad to say: I want to go back to England. He said: You should walk, trains, boats, cars and aircrafts are all dangerous... I'm doomed!!  |

even swimming is dangerous anyway...yeah that's all...TW that was a joke if that horse was a few inches to the left it probs would have gone through me! the Dover Castle one I can't remember actually, I can only say that that's good coz I don't wanna remember it...anyway... Horses can be dangerous, I'm lucky I got away before it started to turn on me. ...I'd be in deep crud then wouldn't I....well as long as no-one dies then I'm happy ^^ |

cases of elevators where people have been decapiataed by the doors, oh crud now
i've given ziggs nightmares!
