Well I'm doing this because yesterday while getting in my car while it was raining A FLIPPIN' LIGHTINGBOLT HIT THE CAR!!! AND I WAS ABOUT TO GRAB THE DOOR HANDLE!!!
I'm a little shaken and lightbulb seem to flicker when I pop them in my mouth but other than that and a pair of wet pants (I don't think it was just rain water) I'm ok. The car's electrical systems were already on the fritz so its still fine (sorta if you ignore the whole fact that its possessed by the Anti-Christ).
Any one else got some similar type events where you have the whole "my life flashed be my eyes" thing happening afterwards

I almost got hit by a car once. That was fun. Maybe a train to. I forget.
And LOL you get hit by lightning so you stick a lightbulb in your mouth?

Woah... That was CLOSE...  Dang. For a change, I don't know what to say. I've almost been hit by a car before. More than once. I think twice. Technically, I don't get out enough to experience near-death experiences. I sorta spend all day indoors. But DANG. I'd have soiled and simultaneously peed myself if that had happened. nah it just means that I'm immortal (see bottom of siggy)
I've had the car thing a few times though it was usually while in a car so I wasn't in a guaranteed fatal situation. Their was one time though that a semi didn't see me as it was passing a car on the highway. I paniced and put the petal to the floor as I rocketted out from between the semi and a concrete barrier. I must say I never knew that accursed van could move like that.

I've ran into the road a few times without looking. I was in a hurry, as you do if you're late to go somewhere.
I've walked across the road with cars on either side of me... But... That was a Zebra crossing, so it doesn't really count.
At my old school, there's this really busy crossing, and, when I was crossing, sometimes cars would indicate in my direction at last minute. As such, I hate it when people indicate at last second. It annoys the people behind them, and the pedestrians crossing the road at that point. You just freeze, and then sprint to the other side of the road. Fortunately, all cases like that, the cars are going 30 or 40, so they don't have much pressure to put on the brakes.

I hate that.....I hate people who get in the wrong lane too. And people who pul out in front of you on roundabouts or coming out of side-roads that annoys me like heck.

I almost got hit by a car because the back brake on my bike wasn't working and I didn't realise until I actually hit the brake.

I don't ride my bike anymore but yeah.....How many ppl have been nearly hit by cars? TOO MANY!

well i did get hit by a car but i manged to avoid a full on collsion and my ankle took the damage =/

i've nearly been hit by a car only ounce and haunter if there is someone up there
then he been busy making laughing at me because my life sucks though not getting hit by a car was nice

whoa, well I've never been near too many cars in my life, but my job is pretty dangerous, so I come close to being shot or something stupid, but out of my job I nearly flipped over a banister and nearly fell down 14 floors! O.O That was my wife's fault though, she chucked me the keys to my flat cause her hands were full and they flew passed my head, I honestly felt like I was going to fall, because I used two hands to hold myself.... I had to walk down 14 floors to get the keys.... ¬_¬

There's the awkward crossing that Assassin spoke of- and it's really dangerous. There's no crossing for going over, and I risk my life every time I ride my bike to their house and back, and Haunter risks his every time he goes to school and back. They've asked the council to install a crossing but nothing. It took for someone to die before they installed a crossing over to the villiage round here!

thats why i have the goverment they only do something
when one or two people die because of the problem then they claim
to be doing it in the person's honour they only doing it cos they know they can get publisity
