Power of Premonitions...

Do you have premonitions? You know, dreams that actually come true??


I've had numerous dreams that are, in fact, real. heyr'e usually about everyday life, with not so ordinary conversations or events. The dreams are always diffrent, never the same twice. NEVER. And... I believe they have a purpose in my life.

Last night, I spoke to someone over the net I barely knew. Somehow we got into a deep conversation, a discussion that was meant to be. He told me he wanted to end his life, and I refused to give up on him. He wanted to know what the point in life was, what the point was to EVERYTHING. Well... The dream I had the night before was extremely brief, just long enough for me to catch these words on a screen:

Truth is, you don't really want to die. You just want your question answered, "What's the point?"

Last night, speaking to him, I found myself writing out these words. I was stunned, and amazed beyond any time before my dreams have come true. I eventually was telling him that he just needed someone in his life, someone who understood him. And he hadn't killed himself yet because he was waiting, waiting for his question to be answered. He didn't want to die, he wanted a reason to live. And he'd wait for that reason...

You know what he said? "Darn you... How did you know...? I've been cracked by a 17 year old!" Hes' 15, but he was just so amazed that someone around his age actually understood him. Plus, he did mention that I was just some girl before. I'm sure he thinks differently of me now.


So... Do you have dreams like this? i'm very curious to know. I don't know what these are for, and I can't call upon them at will. However... I do believe they're some sort of sign, something pointing out my right path. It's just good to put something like this to good work. :]

I have dremas and I dream of an event then it happens teh day after or like I daydream that someone says something and it happens!

Is that a premonition?

One time I dreamed taht I would open the car door and throw my school bag inside and I would get rain drops on my hand from it raining before. Then wipe my hand down my trousers lol. AND IT HAPPENS!

Yep, those are premonitions. If you dream them at night, and the next day(or week, or month) they actually happen in real liofe, then it's a premonition. I have them ALL the time. It does feel weird, and I just wanted to know how many people actually have this. Silverflame7 has PRECOGNITION. She can feel when bad things, or even good things, will happen before it does. I just dream them, and they're all about ordinary life with not so ordinary discussions or events. They usually happen more when I am around my sister though... Weird.

Anyone else have this? Trust me, I won't think you're strange. I've had this for years...

I seriously get these all the time. It freaks me out and I hate it when you dream that you're falling and you smack against your bed. And when I wake up My legs go up in the air and down again XD that was so embarrassing to write I tell ya.

Well... That's not quite a premonition there. I honestly don't know what that is. XD
But, I'm talking about dreams that happen, and they have MEANING.
To speak to him that way was NOT ordinary. And, besides, no one else he knows knew anything about his desire. And, being a stranger, and I got through to him, isn't that a little strange? My dream predicted this before it even happened!

Not a bad book all though its a little hard to follow if you've got a short attention span *sees butterfly fly in front of the window and spends next three minutes chasing it beofre moving onto the next pointless thing*

I don't have preminitions as much as Deja Vu. I swear I'll be doing something and just suddenly think, "WTH?!? Didn't I just do the exact same thing the other day?" Now this could actually be sorta like preminitions since the event I thought I'd done could have been in a dream. Other than that my dreams are pretty useless for telling the future. That's most because I have lucid dreams every time. In English that basicly means I can control what happens in the dream. I'll admit I sorta use them as kinda like a movie studio by taking story ideas and playing them out.
Yes I am officially pathetic. Amen?

Actually, that's pretty close Juggernaut. And it is quite possibly that you may have dreamed it. I have something similar to Deja Vu, but it's a little more odd. When I meet new people, I get a feeling inside and know instantly that theyr'e special. That they're someone I NEED to know, I need to help. That's happened with many of you members actually... :]

But... Again, anyone else have these things?
I'd really like to know if this is common or not.

I get Deja Vu. I'll just be doing something, then I'll get all dizzy and remember the colors and movements.

Technically, EVERYONE gets Deja Vu.
I've had it loads of times.



However, I guess premonitions and precognitions are very rare traits. Very rare.
Most people probably don't believe in them.

However, from this it's obvious that they're pretty real.
But, only for certain people, I guess.
Me, I've never had a premonition.
Or a precognition.

Nor am I exactly brilliantly intelligent.
Or strong.
Which sometimes makes me wonder what makes me an individual...

I had a premonition of Deja vu once, very interesting.... let me explain...
(the dream) I was sitting in Jett's room (my little bro) and he said "could you pass me that book please", so I did, and I read the front over, it said 'Surpressing emotions' and I thought: 'wait I've done this before, maybe its a memory....'
The next morning I went down stairs to tell him the weird dream, and I sat next to him and he said "could you pass me that book please", and I did and it was 'Surpressing emotions' then I got Deja vu but it wasn't till after I left the room... why? *shrugs*

final destination is a lot like that, creapy premonitions, deja vu that sort of stuff. FM5 you had a premontion? WEIRD though it was a good one as it stopped someone from suicide and he would be only hurting his family if he did that, though like i said at least it was a nice one and not something likea plane you were going to board blowing up or something

I have deja vu quite a lot. My dreams are impossible to make into premonitions. Why? Because all my dreams are random and weird. One second you could be having a banquet with the King of England, and next, you could be skydiving onto a patio.

I have repetitive dreams and I get to a part then it keeps replying that part. And it's annoying. lol. I don't know if other ppl do this but I plan my dreams so I can get to sleep easier coz I suffer from insomnia

Well, Seribii, all I can say more about my premonition is that it made no sense after I woke up from it. The screen the text was on was while playing World of Warcraft, since i've been currently playing that quite a lot this summer. I won't mention the person's username, that wouldn't be right, but it all started with him telling me he had failed his grades at school. He said school had no point. He kept asking what's the point. That's when I started digging, digging deeply into his heart. After awhile he told me he wanted to die. And after digging more, I found the answers to his closed heart. And that's when I wrote the very same text I saw in my permonition. I remember then, when he asked me what that all meant, I could only say, "I think it's a sign..."


I don't know if I was exactly preventing his suicide. Afterall, like I found out, he didn't really want to die. But I do think I was meant to show him that he can trust people, and that people CAN understand his feelings. I am no shrink, as he called me, but I have the ability to see through people. Giving advice, I believe, is my strong point.

Anyway... I've had numerous other situations with my premonitions taking place. One i'll never forget was during the time my parents were getting a divorce(some of you here know this one).

My first semester of college was nearly at an end, and I had my last Graphic project to finish. My program to create the project messed up and erased what I had. I was stressing out, I had a headache after hours of creating what I had. So, I left my bedroom and went to go sit on the living room couch. I started fcrying, everything wasn't going right. My mom asked me what was wrong and I explained the thing. Well, she then thought of my uncle, who could easily download another copy of the program--we thought maybe the program was gliched. My uncle was my dad's brother, so she asked if my father coul call him. My dad got angry, but he was obviously already ticked off about something else...

My mom and dad were getting divorced at this time, so they now stayed on oopisite sides of the house. I went back to my room once an argument started, but the argument left the living room and entered my bedroom hallway. My room was connected to bathroom, so my mom went in there to simply get away from him. My dad was outside in the hallway, I could see him with my door open, and he was shouting to her about $200. They hadn't split their money yet, and my mom only took $200 for gas and groceries. He had no right to get upset about the neccessary.

There came silence, but my dad was sizzling. My mom and I both thought, for sure, he'd go back into his room to get his gun.

Now... The premonition begins. A week ago before this night, I had a dream about my mother and I driving in our SUV. It was nighttime, and very late to be out. We were driving down a familiar road, the road back to our house. She was on the phone, and I only caught, "...Ok, I'll cal the sheriff." In the dream, I felt anxious about something, and I felt dazed as well. Then my eyes slowly shifted to the clock of our automobile. The green nuimbers read 10:53 PM exactly. Then, the dream cut and I awoke. I remember being confused after being awake, but it made no sense. I tried to forget it...

Now, back to the night a week later. My mom and I were worried that he'd hurt one of us, so we immediately packed a few things and left. We got into our SUV and drove towards my grandparents' house, my mother's parents. She got on her cell phone and called her dad, telling him what happened. My grandfather used to be a sheriff and so surely he'd know what to do. He told her apprently to call the sheriff on my dad instead of hiding. So, while I was sitting there in the front passenger seat, I heard her say, "Ok, i'll call the sheriff." That's when I felt anxious, and I was dazed because I knew this was from the dream. I then looked at the clock. It was 10:53 PM exactly...

Everything turned out ok, but my mind was on the dream all night I even told my mom what I saw, that I had seen it a week ago. She asked before the situation was over, "Nothing bad happened, did it?" She believed me after years of never believing me.

And now... For something happy! My parents are back together and they've been remarried this summer. But what did the dream mean or do? I don't know. All I know is that my dreams show me real life, with not ordinary events. And I believe strongly that this runs in my family. My grandmother, my mom's mother, has these too. My own mother recently, during the time of selling our last house, also had a premonition about the lady who bought it...BEFORE MEETING HER! So, yes, this is odd in us, but we do in fact have it.
