Her name is an inspiration from the game Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness.
It's based off myths and passages in the Bible from before Noah's Ark. Apparently Nephilims were part angel part human.

Myra: I fink 'at... *ahem* she likes making her characters suffer. But makes sure that they have happy endings.

Nephilim: She definitely likes making characters suffer, and has a blood lust but in a weird way I still respect her. I mean, she hasn't forgotten about any of her characters and thinks of us all as equals.

Miho: Yeah she's okay. Wish she'd make us better fighters, though. We always end up getting injured.

Carrie: ... Who?

Carrie: Ooh... wait... I'm created?!
Me: Erm yeah.
Carrie: Whaaat?! My whole life is a lie?!
