Well, looking closer there was high posters that hadn't been here since 2005.
Including Sylverhalo and PureHeart, though they both hang out with me on World of Warcraft still. So I still chill with them, but they hadn't been active.
The other names I deleted wasn't because I didn't love them. I liked everyone that was higher posters, and even some I was buddies with from the old Sonic Haven forum, but times have changed.
It is time to usher in new faces. ^^

Double posting!
I would like to change the stars under all the ranks into their current colors, but different shapes. Shapes that aren't too big or distracting, but more unique.
They don't necessarily have to represent anything, so does anyone have maybe a suggestion before I think my brain to death? XD
Those sprites are just about the last touch-ups I want to do for the theme. :3

Hmm, well if you want to get creative, how about normal members have a planet as their rank, next stage up is a star and if you're a staff member you get your own galaxy?

To go more into detail... The shoutbox was cleared because when I made announcements about the forum, a conversation started that went into either the opinions of success or failure of the new version. Clearly, this forum wasn't made just yesterday. We have all been here to see it age with us. But that doesn't mean I wasn't feeling hopeful for a new beginning. And CS pointed out that, rather bluntly, that there was no hope. I am not expecting 1,000+ people to be here. I am just opening the doors to the place I have called home to new people if they wish to join us here on the forum. I believe it's a haven, maybe others are looking for that. I will say I initially took CS's comments heavily to heart. I don't do well with negativity, admittedly. And I also took it one step further earlier and felt that she was implying that all my designing and hard work was meaningless and/or simply shit.
But that is my background seeping through.
I'm still not over a lot of terrible things I've been told in the past.
So, relax, I know that's not what Amy was saying at all. But to put off the forum in a shoutbox... Now that's just inappropriate. You are free to have your opinions, and you can always talk about things with me personally in PMs or here, but just not in the shoutbox. This place is new to ME. I'm a new person, with fresh ideas. I just wanted to reflect that in my home. |

I had a feeling that was it. Listen, FM5. I was being blunt, but if I beaten around the bush that would have gotten us nowhere. Your hard work is something I honestly do appreciate. Very much so. However, the last thing I want to see is you disappointed or upset because you wanted more people and it never happened. I was being honest. And quite true to my character, I was tactless and blunt. That's me. I try not to be sometimes, but there are times when I fail I never meant to be rude. Sorry. |

Well it's just that FM5 has put a lot of hard work into this and yeah chances are we won't have 10,000 guys on here but to hear your friends say "There's no hope, just give up" is a bit much. The thing is not to be horrible but sometimes with you I honestly feel like if someone was that tactless and blunt with you then it'd upset you, and that's not to be horrible and that's not to attack you CS but can you say how it gets to some of us here when you ask that we not talk to you in a certain way and then you talk that way to others? I joke around and sometimes when I joke around I upset people but in return I give others the benefit of the doubt since I can sometimes read things the wrong way. I'm not asking you to change who you are just maybe think for a second or two if maybe you're being a bit too blunt with us. |

Well I think we all need reminding every now and then, I mean face to face if you say the wrong thing you know instantly and can just say "Oh I didn't mean it like that" but on the internet it's hard to tell how someone might have taken something.
Besides even if it is false hope it wouldn't hurt to try but we'll never know if we don't try.
