Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around in several days. I've been pretty busy the past couple weeks. >.< Hopefully I'll be on here more often though. ^_^;;
Well I was just wondering what you guys thought of the Revolution controllers (I assume you've seen 'em). Me, I think the Revolution is going to be AWESOME! I knew Nintendo was trying do something completely new (especially with what they'd been toying with by making the DS), but I didn't see this coming! The idea thay they'd go back to the failed light gun type stuff never even occurred to me. I do think that Nintendo is kinda stick its neck out there, but I think that Nintendo may just pull this one off. Really, this IS something completely new that the competition doesn't have. Assuming they market it well, I think we'll have some awesome games ahead! ^_^ Lame as it may sound, I'd love a lightsaber battle with me holding the sword. I think I'd even like playing FPS games with that kind of control - literally point and shoot. The only thing that worries me is that this may be TOO gimmicky like the Eye-toy or something. =/ I suppose the Revolution won't JUST be dealing out games that use the pointer function though. I'm sure we'll be getting games more like what we're used to with older game systems too. I'm really looking forward to the next console generation and the 2006 Revolution release. =D

I'll get one in a sec... EDIT: Here's one. EDIT AGAIN: ...and a direct link to a pic from Nintendo. EDIT ONCE MORE: ...and click here for a webcast that contains tons of pics and info on the remote and revolution games. There's a lot of misc. stuff in there. If you JUST want the stuff about the revolution remote, skip to around 27-28 minutes into it. =)

Cool. It's neat to see something different. I like it, personally.
Great job finding a pic for us all, jdlloyd. I think we're all excited. ^_^

No problem. ^_^ Yeah, I really like the looks of the new controllers. Really, I think this could be very interesting. I hear that Nintendo is trying to encourage game developers to create their own controller add-ons (to plug into the controller's extension port) to go with their games. That alone could be very interesting. So far we only know of the one add-on though - the one that adds an analog stick and a couple buttons for the left hand. That add-on is supposed to be bundled with the revolution and controllers though. =)
