i'll do it again for haunter's sake
1) all games have fault, bioware is a good company and will fix it but you have to know that by only being told our faults can we fix them.
2) WHO ARE YOU, TO SAY WHAT SONIC GOES WELL WITH
SHOULD WE PUT MARIO IN A ULTRA-REALISTIC GAME AND NOT WORRY BECAUSE SOME ****ING MARIO FAN SAYS IT'S RIGHT!, believe me people it's not an rpg. Mario works with Role-playing, da blue blur don't
as when i play a sonic game i except to see him living up to he's great name shooting off at high speeds, like in the original sonic games.
3) "Stop being pessimistic" how can he? You've barly given haunter a chance.
4) i know it's not, just stop giving haunter a hard time cos he's got differant views to you.
The whole point is, sonic's just like every other games character and it's the developors who have to decide what works and what dosen't, Rpg-ing is just something i don't think will work and i hope the developors realise that.
I don't like it when you seem to sound like you think you know all that is sonic and what goes with he's character. Sonic games are to do with speed, when you think of speed does
"Wait your turn" came to mind?

Well technically the definition of a roleplaying games is one where you level up get, upgrade attack, weapons, armour, defence, skills etc. It doesn't have to be wait your turn that is only in turn based rpg's wheras games like final fantasy twelve don't require you to take turns. There are menus, but it is a lot faster and there are no 'wait your turn'

Sonic has some RPG qualities then--SA2 upgrades for boots, wrist rings, etc. Just throwing that out. But, best thing that could happen to Sonic games are more development for the characters, letting the storyline show growth in the characters and such. Some more adventure for them than just speeding about aimlessly. I know Sonic is all about speed, I know that. BUT... A game based simply on that would be like a Mario Kart game instead of a...well, a game with plot. Just saying. *shrugs*

yeah, I played Shadow the hedgehog for the storyline.
we're just gonna have to see wether it's good or not when it comes out. So everyone, stop arguing about it.

WHETHER! NOT WETHER! ¬¬ Ugh! Anyway. I believe it's gonna be a good game. But knowing me while everyone thinks it's crap, I'll think it's good. It's what loyal Sonic fans do lol. Also TW. I'm not saying I'm a Sonic Know it all. Granted, there are probs people out there that know more than me coz they started playing from the First Sonic game, and yes I started playing Sonic on SA2B and then Sonic X got me liking it. Also. Sorry, you just give off the impression that you know everything there is to know about sonic. I just don't want to see a good character ruined by the word RPG. Seriously i hate though kind of games
and blaze at my college are HARD CORE Final Fantasy fans and by the sounds of it, FF 12 WAS A COMPLETE FAILURE!!
Don't like to be negative but i wanna game like sonic 1, that was the blue blur at he's best and to be honest it would bring back memories of my first ever game.

I like the Sonic games I've played. I'm completely oblivious to all the things that make a game. Guess what? There's only one thing in my gaming reviews. ENJOYMENT! and guess what. I have enjoyed all the Sonic games I have played so far.

Being forceful is the only way to get you two to stop arguing (and may I remind you who has to try and keep the peace?) I'm a true Sonic fan, I'm indifferent though. Not gonna show great love to the game, but not gonna show great hate either. I'd have to PLAY it to make that assumption And unfortunately for you, it is an RPG. |
