another good tactic. ghost pokemon are BRILLIANT against fighting so if you enemy has ones like hitmonlee, hitmonchan, hitmontop, tyrogue, makuhita and other types.

actually protect only fails if you use it more than once in a row. So if I use it every other turn it works perfectly (same for endurance) Also Earthquake is sooooooooooo common in 2v2 battles (its been called the best 2v2 move since it doesn't kill the user like explosion) I always have at least 2 levitators or flyers in my part (preferably a levi since they don't alway have the elec weakness)
Actually I've seen al really brutal move/item combo that actually gives a hefty advantage to low level pokemon that get wiped in one turn. There is a berry that boosts speed when hp is low. Now combine that with and endure and you'll likely end up with a dinky pokemon with 1 hp a speed off the charts. Now throw in a flail and if they don't have a resistance or immunity and aren't any faster than you they're likely dead. And you can do this repeatedly! New pokemon comes out. POP! Flailed to death. I hadf a level one hundred swampert who got wiped out by a level mareep. And it only got worse when my Blazkien went in and died the same way.
Also another interesting move combo for 2v2 is the follow-punch. Focus punch is actually a brutally powerful move if it hits. Course the chances of that are low since if you get hit you lose focus and don't do squat.
Enter the Follow Me.
With Follow me you draw off any single pokemon attacks and let the focuser just grease its target. The only problem is if a move like surf or earthquake is used. But believe me if you can get this to work it is just EVIL!!!
Also there are several other intersting 2v2 strategies I've seen. One of the more interesting ones was the idea of having a Ninjask paired up with a pokemon that knows psych up. Wait a few turns for ninjask to get revved up and then psych up. You have two blindingly fast pokemon. You can also do this with stat boost moves like calm mind, sword dance, bulk up, cosmic power, and, my personal two favorites if they work, Silver Wind and Ancient Power. I'll admit the last two are unlikely to be useful but if it works you're gonna have an interesting fight.

OH Put the Focus Sash on a lvl 1, have the moves Endevour and Quick attack, then make it so the Focus Sash leaves it with 1 hp, use endevour and then use quick attack to kill almost all pokemon, lvl 100 too.

lol I saw the Edevour Quick Attack from Marriland (good trainer person) and he had a Rattata which was left with 1 HP and then he used Edevour to make the foes lvl 100 have 1 HP and then it used quick attack to finish it off. XD the guy was named Untouchable.

YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!
that cruddy squarial beat a giratina!? NO THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A FREAKIN GLITCH!
i'm joking, don't worry crystalshadow if you think your loss is bad then hear mine. i faced this guy at canterbury college, he had all Lv 100's and thrashed me, each time i sent a pokemon out the guy knocked it out intill all that was left was my Lv 94 empoleon, which was later knocked out EASILY! losing simply means that the other person was better then you, not that your a loser. r searchie must have had more experiance that and if you Lv up pokemon with action repley that don't get the same stats that rare candy or natural Lv up gives pokemon but don't get worried use action repley to get 999 of the iron, nickle and other ones like them and fed them constantly to the chosen pokemon that sound make sure that you pokemon is just as good as r searchie's and will hopefully give you a chance.

Actually an interesting idea I once heard of (although you'd have to majorly cheat to do it) was taking a Sableye and somehow putting the wonder shield (or is it guard) ability on it. Sableye has no weaknesses (I think even a foresight/fighting move combo only gets normal damage due to ghost still having a resistance). YOU WOULD HAVE AN INVINCIBLE POKEMON!!! The only thing that could possibly kill it is when it runs out of pp and starts struggling. But the only problem is that I don't think its possible to do something like that even with a game shark. But if you could you would have a pokemon that at level one could easily take on a lvl 100 (might want to bring along a *$#% of max elixers)

Urm, you can't put the wonder guard on a Sableye. It isn't possible.

I know although it is in theory possible if you could hack into the cartridge itself and create pokemon that have different abilities. It would likely take a computer program of some sort along with an adapter that would allow you to plug the cartridge into your computer via a USB port. If you could manage to pull it off you could create wickedly evil pokemon. I'm thinking Sableye would be the beginning (actually now that I think about it, the little bugger would still be weak to a spike roar). You could mess around with all sorts of things and likely create the uber pokemon!
Which reminds me did any one here know about the MissingNo. Pokemon? It was originally a glitch in the first two pokemon that allowed you to item duplicate (and completely f-up your game if you caught it). But I heard a while back that its actually on the GBA versions. Some guy used a game shark to get every pokemon and found that there was a MissingNo. I thought it was somewhat interesting since as far as I knew they had gotten rid of the glitch back in yellow. I will admit it's kinda useless but it is intriguing. Why would they have it? Is there possibly a glitch in FR an LG that allows you to catch this thing (which actually now has a defined shape of two ?'s as opposed to the original column of static in R&B).

I have heard of MissingNo. Apparently it evolves into Kangaskhan correct?

yea, i remember missingo from red and blue. If you leveled it up it did evole into a kangashan and did the rare candy glitch but would you do that and screw up your game or catch it legit in safri zone (i caught my kang legit, no replays)

well done! i couldn't catch one, i found one in the safari zone but no matter what i did, i just couldn't catch it. pokemon battle revolution is what i'm thinking about as now i've got a new hitmonlee (yeah and i'll keep boasting intill someone comments on my hitmonlee) i'm hoping on making it Lv 50 or Lv 90 by the time i get the game that or give it 999 rare candys when i get action repley.
