Flood

If you havent noticed, yesterday britian and the worse rainfall fr a while having a month of rain falling in 24 hour causing flooding.

Where i live, we did get effected by the flood as the south part (where the cinema, retail park town and the park ) got hit as there is a river going past. Luckly the top half didnt get hit as it is mostly hilly. I got lucky as my home is on a hill.

Im wondering if anyone elses town/city got effected? I know sheffield got badly hit and thats like 10mins from us ....

If you got pics post them here. My mum is sending pics of horn's tail bridge and the cinemia complex in 4 ft of water. Ill post when i get them tommorrow

well today, it was mostly cleared up but there was still some water around near the complex

the place i lived didn't get effected though i heard that 3 people died, one man drowned after he got he got stuck in a manhole and the rising water killed him, a kid was swept away and a OAP drowned after escaping he's car. i feel sorry for the families of the three people and the towns effected CURSE YOU MOTHER NATURE!

i live in USA but we sometimes get floods. but dont worry, you guys will be in my prayers.

and mine, the goverment gonna build more houses on flood plaines despite the amount of floods there's been in the past week

well floods are bad...I hate floods...almost as much as earthquakes and volcanoes but we don't have volcanoes where I live so YAY
