So it means once you have the game (you'll have some kinda ID to that game) meaning you cant' play it on another ps3 (jeez this is bad >< )

that's a maybe but what it means is that you don't own the game. that's just stupid and greedy.

UPDATE: Further to our article yesterday that high street games shops have been told by Sony that there will be no PS3 pre-owned sections in their stores, a Sony Europe representative has responded with a further - albeit brief - comment.

Their statement reads in full: "These rumours are unfounded and, to my knowledge, SCEE has no plans to change our business model to adopt such a system."

We'll keep you posted as soon as we hear any more on this intriguing story - whether from retail or Sony itself.

those are rumours and it is apparently extremely difficult to do that.

the playstation 3 is doing anything new, it's more money then what i think is the most inventive consul ever and with the new id. the only chance sony have is if the wii sets on fire after ten weeks of play and blows up

The PS3 just is going to do well and unless sony goes bankrupt we'll probely see a playstation 4 and then they'll probely go bankrupt.

The only decent game for the playstation 3 is grand theft auot and even that has lost it's apeal what do you do in GTA4 that you couldn't do in the the last three my answer nothing

But with the wii they've showed the world how games like zelda, mario and super smash bros are going to play different on the wii then on the gamecube or nintendo 64.

I haven't seen the playstation 3 ad but by the sounds of it, it's weird, confusing and everyone that watches it won't have any idea what the heck the advert is for
