Oil Factory Explosion in Wales
Uprisings across Africa
America getting Hurricanes where they don't usually have them AND thousands of Brids falling out of the sky.
Spain hit by earthquke as well as Japan among others.
Bushfires in UK and Australia
Flooding nearly everywhere.

We're screwed even if there isn't a 2012.

That'll be the mother of all quakes when it goes off. A bit like yellowstone when it goes off. America isn't well placed.

I agree with you LS, I can't wait for Sonic Generations. Looks like an awesome game. I can't wait to play as Classic Sonic in 2D whilst being rendered 3-D.
But... I still have a feeling I'll enjoy the Modern Sonic more, seeing as he is the one I grew up with. Started at Sonic Adventure 2, although I have played the Classic games.
It's weird how I actually find the classic games hard, although they're meant to be easy.

Anyway. Yeah, been a lot of havoc.
In my General Studies paper, there was a question about earthquakes, and I just did a load of waffling. The question and I had to write enough for 17, and 18 marks.

Well, can't call it waffling, just big expanding on really minor points.

I hate this whole prediction. It's during my second year on my games development course so if the world ends it means I'll die before I even get close to the job I'm on the course for. Not to be offensive to my own religion but if 2012 is the end of the world as we know it. I really hate god. REALLY. He knows everything so surely he could have given me a heads up, you know like "Hey TW, that job you really want? Don't bother the world will end before then"

Well actually, it'll be a solar flare hitting the earth and neutralising the ozone layer that we have weakened apparently

That's how we go out? Well then I think we all know who's fault that is then. If that is the case then we should kill the heads of the oil companies, we could have had electric cars and safety methods for energy but nope, the greedy douches had to screw us other with the fossil fuels.

I haven't heard anything about a solar flare in the past though, I'd have thought if there was any conclusive proof then it'd be on the news or something similar.

People will be comitting suicide over this. So many innocent lives taken because some people have to scaremonger people.

So they'll commit, then the world won't be over... they'll have lost their lives over a stupid hoax. That's just sick in my opinion.

Well we get hit by solar flare nearly daily, they're just not too big. And there hs been stuff about the sun in the news, how it has been more active now than in the last 2000 years or so apparently.

The sun has a 22 year cycle where it alternates from exremely busy to extrememly low key. Currently we are at extremely busy but it should die down from November this year.
