if sonic is still owned by sega then please explain why:
- sonic and the secret rings
- SA2
- SA1
- sonic heroes
- sonic riders
- mario and sonic at the olympic games
- shadow the hedehog
are all on nintendo consuls. if we can have all these games then sega isn't going to care if nintendo put shadow and sonic on brawl (which they should)

well, what happened last time sega had a console? Does anyone remember that the only sonic games were on the dreamcast. Now, that they don't have a console, they have to put it on others. and most of the games that you said are on the ps2 also. And even if nintendo WANTED to get sonic on the game, do you know how much it would cost them? No, sonic will not be in brawl. maybe not ever in ssb. overall. Unless sega and sonic team collapses bizzrly (which i doubt because they put out tons of game a year.

there's no proof that he won't neither is there proof that he is....
so this is going to be one of those times when we have to wait and if it does turn out that sonic is in brawl CS don't boost because you wouldn't like it if invisobill was to start making a 2 page dossier explaning how you were wrong and he was right.
plus you might want to note sonic team make the sonic games not sega. they have the sega logo on them because sonic team works for sega but that dosen't mean they can't put them on the wii. the only times i've ever seen the name SEGA come up on a sonic game is when they were on a sega consul and but they still carry the sonic team logo no matter what.
even if you have 100% proof that sonic will not appear in brawl just let CS find out for herself thats the only way she'll believe you is when she plays the game and sees sonic isn't there though you best tell her sometime after she gets the game (if he isn't) in case she goes mad trying to find sonic 10 days stright.....
the best consul is the x-box elite.
IT IS THE PS3 ONLY
1) cheaper: it only cost £300 while the PS3 £450
2) cooler: it looks like a pimped out x-box fushed with a PS3
3) more games: it has all the games of an x-box
4) YOU CAN SAVE GAMES, MOVIES AND OTHER STUFF ON IT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
