When you get to lvl 70 you can get a flying mount. I bet they cost loads. My character Flamedra is now lvl 70, and I'm working on getting her first flying mount. They cost 1,000g for training and 100g for the mount itself. I think the 2nd flying mount costs...yeah, I'm thinking 5,000g for training. Ouch. >_< |

Neat, you made it to 70. I'm now 61. Outlands is an awesome place to train. It's just, I've got to get my mining up to 300 to get to mine in outlands. I've got 25 levels of mining in the Burning Steppes. Gatherer is an awesome add-on. It records the locations of where all the ore, chests and herblore weeds are so you can check those locations again for mining in the future. My bro's gone through loads to get his 60 mount, and when I can get the money, I'm gonna buy mine.

Yeah, the Outland has great quests and even better money raising opportunities. Quests there offer 2-11g throughout the areas. And if you want to raise money fast for your 60 mount, here's some tips:
1). The items off all dead creatures or humanoids sell well, so pick up everything you can hold and then sell them.
2). You'll find lot of weapons and armor that drop off enemies, so either sell them or auction them off for more money.
3). Put the money you save into the bank, or mail it to another character for holding, so you don't spend it--lol, such a temptation sometimes.
That's what I do for all my saving ups. For me, I have now over 1,000g, but I actually need 5,000 for the first flying mount training and 200g for the mount itself. This could take awhile. XD
So, in the meantime, I'll put my lvl 70 to good use and help my sister quest in Hellfire Peninsula. And maybe do battlegrounds to get cool armor that way while I save my money for mount purposes. :]
On the other hand, I have my two Horde characters that are both lvl 55 and are all going through the quest and save money thing too. XD

What servers are your characters on, Cap. Shock?
I have my Alliance character on Stonemaul, Horde characters on Blood Furnace and another horde character, though I don't play her much, on the server Malfurion.
It would be cool if all of us here who play WoW to make characters on one server and play together. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! ^_^

I'm on Runetotem as well, but i dno if we can be on same server as you in america though because we are on european servers and you are on american ones.
I have a lvl 14 dwarven hunter named Blazack with a lvl 13 pet wolf named Fenrir
At the moment i'm training in cooking (good for health) and first aid (first aid is ok because when you make bandages they sell for quite a bit) though i don't if I should train in other professions. I mean would it be better to train in mining and blacksmith or something?

PAYING FOR A GAME AFTER YOU'VE PAID FOR IT IS REALLY NOT WORTH THE GAME!!
Sorry for all the world of warcraft fans but i reckon your all being conned into paying for this game, maybe if they put the price down a little then fair enough. But some people really can't afford to pay £9.00 a month for this.
Don't you find it the least bit unfair that you have to pay long after you've dished out the old £30 it costed to get this?

Not any foxes I've seen, CS15, but as a Hunter you can get wolves. One dungeon called Shadowfang Keep even has ghost wolves, transparent blue spirits. Those are awesome as pets and they are elites(meaning better health, attack and armor). As a character, you'd probably like the Alliance characters called Draenei. They do have a lot of background with crystals and such. Also, for Horde characters, you'd probably like the Blood Elves--I love those too. :] (With both races, though, you'd probably want different animals to ride once a high enough lvl. But, hey, if you play on a server I'm on, I'll be sure to help you out! ^_^) (If you decide to play a free trial though, keep in mind that you can't play those two races at first--only with the expansion The Burning Crusade can you play these. Just a warning!) And TW, we that play WoW are very much aware of the cost, believe me. However, it is a great game and great way to connect with friends online and meet new people too. Fun quests, different races and overall awesome places make it fantastic. I love this game, and it keeps me in touch with my sister and also gives me just a really fun game to play by myself. All depends on what reasons you play it, I guess. If you're a person who has a life(which a majority of people probably don't...) then this is a game for you! XD |

lol CS15's using my account now, minimizing the bill. I got a lvl 32 dwarf hunter called Eggimeggi on Runetotem with a green wind serpent called Cataclysm. CS has got a lvl 8 draenai warrior called Shadowsneak on runtetotem too. We really should all go on the same server and make a guild called "TLCR does WoW" or sumin lyk that.
