Shy Guy: Freakin' heck - He was tryin' to eat me! We have to put up with that all the time on Yoshi's Island - But why here as well?!
General Haunter: for attempted eating of a fellow unit, you are sentenced to... Look after our rations.
*Shy Guy stares at Haunter in disbelief*
Yoshi: Yoshi!
*Yoshi runs off*

Mechanos: Have the Shapers arrived?
General Ironfist: Yes sir! But some of them look like those commie Replicants.
Mechanos: Those would be the Guardian Shapers.
Ironfist: Huh there are different types of shapers?
Mechanos: Yes. Shapers specialize in creations and lack melee skill. Guardians can engage evena dragon with their sword but can't cast a single spell. Finally Agents Specialize in magic but tend to have mediocre creatures.
Ironfist: I still think they look like Replicants.
Mechanos: Well as long as you don't tear them limb from limb like the one translator machines.
Dudbolt: Can I play them a theme song.
Mechanos and Ironfist: NOOOOOOO!!!

General Blaze: Right you guys somehow ater the last batlle killed most of us were back again.
General Striker DOreiku: Indeed we are. And instead of random huamns and scarlet angels and random space people we have a new ally.
Soldiers: *gasp* who?
General Blaze: These guys.

Marshal Striker Doreiku: The monkey frogs.

hmm i might have to think long and hard about my third army.

Marshal Blaze: jsut joknig are real allies are these guys.

Green android: I am Field Marshall Malachite leader of the Rothnorian android army. We are here to help you with our vast numbers. The blue android is General Cobalt. He commands our airforce which are as good in the air as they are on land. General Blood, the red android, commands our artillery and vehicular army. I command the land force. Our troop consists of modifications of the yellwo android who has jsut walked in.

Malchite: If tank and artilley use is prohibted then General Blood's troops will join the landforce as will general Cobalt if our ships are prohibited.

General Haunter: Woah, whose cruddy army is THAT?
Komment: Haunter, that's our army you div.
*General Haunter stares at him increduously*

General Haunter: And uh... What a dangerously-effective cruddy army it is! I mean - Wow. Look at all those... Uh... Sprites...
Komment: Do you need me to explain the army, like all the other armies are doing?
General Haunter: Meh, whatever makes ya happy.
*Enter group one, an assortment of Mario-type creatures*



Komment: Well, I am Komment, in charge of-
General Haunter: You mean KAPTAIN Komment?
Komment: Oh please, don't make me call myself that!
General Haunter: Come on...

Kaptain Komment: Okay, I'll call myself Kaptain. Anyhow, I am the Captain... I mean, Kaptain of the Koopa Troops - A wide range of creatures from the Mushroom Kingdom, including the Yoshis of Yoshi's Island, the Spiny Squad, (Led by Corporal Laki) Koopa Infantry, Bone Troopers, Shy Guy Artillery, and even more... We went all-out on recruitment.
General Haunter: Nicely done bud! Now - NEXT ARMY!
*A single Waddle Dee enters*
*General Haunter pauses, confused*
General Haunter: Uh... Right. So, Waddle Dee is there. Um... No offence, but I was kinda thinking of perhaps a slightly LARGER army...
*Waddle Dee gestures to a large crowd of Pop Star inhabitants*



Kaptain Komment: Actually, Waddle Dee is the leader of the Star Seekers - An army of highly trained citizens of Pop Star - Not an especially large army, and not exactly well-protected - But don't underestimate them. They're strong enough to tear through entire squads like-
General Haunter: Big tearing thingys?! Dang - That's powerful.
Kaptain Komment: Right... Well, what army have you prepared Haunter? The RPG character army? The Shy Guy Mafia? The Pacman Ghost Mob?
*General Haunter freezes*
*Kaptain Komment groans*
*Waddle Dee slaps face*
Kaptain Komment: You forgot, didn't you?
General Haunter: I'm just going to... Make a few... Phone calls...
*Dashes off*
*Hits wall and is knocked out*

Well the time has come and gone.
Our war lords are:
General Juggernaut (He's part of a reserve force I'll pump in later)
General Haunter
General Blaze
General Searchie
General Silverhalo

Now the map ideas are
Blood Upon the Snow (or grease for the machines)
High mountain pass in the middle of a blizzard.

Mechalis
Mechanos's foundry world. Terrain is relatively moon like with craters and such. Also it is made of a thick layer of sand over metal ores. The main feature of the map is the many foundries that go up for miles with many bridges connecting them. Looks like mygeeto but has acid rain at lower alttitudes and acid snow high up due to the heavy pollution from the thousands of foundries.

Fortres defense
Basic Idea is that a few teams are inside a fortress of Helm's Deep or Minas Tirith type make. The other teams are a horde that intends to tke out the defenders. The walls will not be fully breached until so far into the story. Flying vehicles will be restricted to fighter/bomber type vehichles. Also apocolyptic type powers will be restricted. No blasting the landscape into dust. If you choose this one please specify Helm's Deep, Minas Tirith, or combo.

Urban renewal
Urban warfare. Think of fighting on New York City streets breaking out but instead of the Jets and the Sharks beating each other with butter knives its our armies duking it out for king of the hill.

The last map
you know that sparce lightly forested glade we obliterated last time. Someone was nice enough to replant it and add a few more woodland creatures this time.

So post your choices over the weekend and on monday we'll hammer out the final details and begin the carnage.

I'm game for any, but the Minas Tirith/Helm's Deep combo sounds nice. Of course, I'll go with any anyone chooses.

Me i'm up for any battlefield. If i have to vote i'd go for the base defending one nd probs mini tirth with a bit of helm's deep, but perhaps upgraded heavily into a more futuristic city with metal walls and forcefields and whatever otherwise quite a few of the armies are gonna knock down stone walls like peices of cake. Jsut a sugguestion.

You don't have to make it metal.
Just make it out of a new elment which is both rock, AND impossibly hard.

And before you say that's not possible, take a look at our armies, and ask yourself, compared to our characters, how unrealistic is it?

... Besides, I like the old stone walled-castle siege. It just has that classic element.
And it's easier to sprite.

sounds good to me. As long as it not too easy to breka and technically metla is rock. Hmm i got an idea how about ti made out of minerals in the ground wedged together to make it really tough like Gaara of the sand does in Naruto. (then again he cna manipualte sand)

Anybody remeber exactly how much damage an army of ents did to The tower of Orthanc with boulders and rumble?
Dudbolt: they only dented it.

Correct despite the tower being made of stones the ents could only manage to scratch the surface. This despite the fact they are the absolute strongest creatures in middle earth. It was due to ancient magic.
I could make another map that combines fortress with Mechalis Might prove interesting.

Since I don't really have an army, seeing as I only have Miho, Myra and The Nephilim as characters, and though Miho was a soldier, she isn't a general.

So, I've asked Haunter if he can use Toadette in his army. Or, words to that effect. More like threatened.

Blaze, I can't use Shoranto, because it was Flamey who made it up in the first place, and I can't barge in and claim that it's mine. Heck, all I know about it is that The Nephilim lives there, and that it's a palace in a story Fm5 did.

Hmmmmm you have a good point, but you gotta think about these aren't ents that are attacking these are advanced warrior withs more powerful weapons then rubble and boulders.
