Ok Ok I'm obsessed with stories. This is based off FF10. My most favourite Final Fantasy. I am keeping the aeons names as they are.

The aeons names are copyright Squaresoft and FF10 and I do not own them, nor the storyline of FF10. Also all things I have not mentioned like the sphere grid and cloister of trials and the fayth.

Prologue

“Listen to my story. This could be my last chance to say it. I was a girl from the city of Neutrino. I don’t know what happened, or How I got here. All I knew was that I was….here. It pains me thinking of never going back, to my own place, my own time. To never see Mystico again. But I have to keep believing, that there is a way. A way to get back. This world known as Crystalania, the teachings of Herin. So many things could be the answer. I know though, that there is an answer, I don’t care how long it takes me, as long as me and Spear find a way back. Hopefully you will find an answer to your own life too.

This is my story. My tale. My life.”


Chapter 1 - Unaware of Adversity

I was walking down the highway when it all happened. Slews of people saw me, and then flooded in from great distances. Chattering rang through my head, along with questions asking me if they could see my most famous chao Mystico. The fact of the matter was, that I didn’t have him with me, which would disappoint many. He was at Neutrino Stadium, getting fired up for the most exhilarating race of his chao life. Luckily, I found out a way not to dissatisfy them. “If you go to Neutrino Stadium, then you can see him in the race.” I said hoping it would work. People bowed and ran off in the direction of the Stadium. Chao races are not only held there, extreme gear races are too. I followed the crowd, unaware of my disastrous fate.


I made it to the chao locker room to help Mystico put on his small sweatbands. I gave him tips to win the race aswell. Mystico’s eyes glinted as his bell rung. He hopped onto my shoulder and I walked to the exit, leading to the arena.

Mystico walked out to see roaring fans, all here for the same purpose. Mystico on the blue starting path smiled. The others were beside him.

Boxes were at the end of the rainbow paths. Then the track curved round to come to a river, a huge wall with fully grown trees on top. A long straight stretch was next and it curved to come to a waterfall. Next was a cave and inside was some laid out items, this tested intelligence, to see whether they would pick the right one shown on the screen. After that, a spiral came down to a big pool. Then after, you had to run with all your might to the finish line.

I could sense that Mystico was pumped for this race; we had been training for a long time. The crowd went suddenly silent and then Omochao lifted the gun, it was shot and then chao ran out, Mystico’s arms were behind him, imitating a certain blue hedgehog.

All the chao were at the waterfall pool, Mystico in first followed by an oddly familiar grey and orange Chaos Chao. “Wait a second! THAT’S QUAZON! Spear must be here then.” I realised; I searched through the hordes of people to see a grey and orange hedgehog down on the front row, hands sealed on the guard rail, jumping up and down frantically, egging the chao on, to try and overtake Mystico, try being the important word in the sentence. I walked down to just be a little closer to him. “Give it up, Mystico has it won already” I stated, in a ‘matter of factly’ tone. The orange streaked hedgehog turned his head round slowly, his eyes half-lidded, and his evil grin spread widely across his tanned muzzle. From here he looked quite freaky. “Oh no he hasn’t! I’ll cheat if I have to” He slipped a hand inside his shirt and then slowly pulled something out. “Yeah right Spear! How can you cheat in a race like this?” I asked laughing at his incompetence. “I’ll blow Mystico sky-high, that’s what I’ll do” The control in his hand gleamed and had Spear’s trademark on it. He had a stick of dynamite too. Seeing these two things, I started to wonder whether he was serious or not, I couldn’t take a chance. I laughed uneasily “Ok Spear, just put it down and no-one gets hurt” I stepped closer to the crazy hedgehog. Not to my intelligence though, the dynamite was faulty. Was he really going to blow up Mystico? Spear got up and threw the fake dynamite onto the tracks, right in front of Mystico. “No Spear you idiot!” I looked at him, he was nodding his head like he was saying ‘It had to be done’. I growled at his hardly funny trick and then jumped onto the tracks quickly. I picked it up then grabbed the guard rail and hauled myself over. I snatched the control from Spear and then crushed it in my vice-like grip and then snapped the dynamite in half. I forced Spear into his seat and sat in the empty seat next to him. I huffed and continued watching.

“Never interfere in a race like this, whoever wins, it’s fate.” Spear mumbled something, though I couldn’t decipher it. Overhead after I looked up, I saw a big ball of water. My left eyebrow lifted up and then I realised what it was. “XANDOS!!!!!!!!” I absolutely screamed and pointed up at the giant thing. People looked up and then screamed, making others look up and then people ran out of the stadium, leaving chao racing, unaware of what was happening. They were too focused on winning.

I jumped into the race tracks and then saw all 8 chao running towards me. I picked up Quazon and Mystico and then went over to the guard rail. I handed them up to Spear as the ball descended into this direction, then water gushed out of the orb slowly, as if in a matrix. Speed seemed to regain itself in the water as it filled up the tracks and then I grabbed the rails, half of my body was in the water. I couldn’t find the energy to heave myself up anymore. I felt like I was gonna let go. Spear grabbed my hands and then quickly pulled me up and over. The water ascended until it came to the seats. We ran up to the door, Quazon on Spear’s shoulder, Mystico was on mine. Spear and I jumped back and then the orange hedgehog swiped his hand in front of him unleashing a powerful Spear Spray. The door cracked and then crumbled, allowing us to get out. Mystico and Quazon jumped down and then ran in front of us, too far in front. “Mystico, Quazon, stay with us” They were out of sight.
“Hey Spear, they are strong chao, they will survive.” I reassured him. We ran along until we reached the highway.

A burgundy blur made itself known in front of us. “Have you seen it come?”
“Yes we have and we are escaping so get outta our way!” Spear had a short temper with these things. The short-tempered hedgehog ran for the echidna and then was slashed and thrown back into me. “You have a weak friend.”
“He is not weak”
“Ah yes, he is weak-er” Spines scattered and then dug into the ground around us.
“We must work together to kill these off” I made a ball and shaped it into a crystal sword. I slashed some spines from Xandos, and the new one slashed some with his wristal scythes. Spear had got himself to the edge and then sat down nursing his wound. “Attack that”
“Spear is there! Spear get away from the tanker, we are gonna destroy it!” I called to him. Muttering something Spear got up and distanced himself from the tanker we were gonna destroy. The echidna then slashed it once sending it into the depths below. The highway in front of us burnt and the piece Spear was on collapsed. “NO SPEAR!!!!!!!!” I bellowed loudly, I tried to get to him but he fell into murky water. A faint splash. I came to my knees and then felt tears trickle. “Why now? Why has Xandos come?”
“He has come to rid us of our hate.”
“What hate? I hate no-one”
“You say that, but Xandos knows the truth. After all you have known him since you were born.”
“You know something don’t you. Tell me who you are”
“ My name young lady.” He picked me up forcefully “IS POWER DEMON!”
An explosion as he ran across the still burning highway. I too ran to get to the other part of the highway. I thought I had done it but I hadn’t. I jumped and grabbed the edge of the highway. “Help me please. Save me” I tried gripping him but to no avail. “I’m sorry you must suffer the same fate as your pathetic friend!”
“I thought I told you, he is not pathetic or weak or anything like that, he is the bravest hedgehog I’ve ever known” My fingers were crushed by the foot of this so called Power Demon. His scythes picked me up as we were headed into a hole in the bottom of Xandos. “No!” He pushed me off the edge, to follow what had already happened to Spear. A white light filled everything………then suddenly…….nothing.

Water. The water felt subtly warm. My eyes flashed open and were blurry. "My.....wha?" I could see a blur. 6 people. No 6 odd looking people. My eyes strengthened and I could make out their species. Two hedgehogs and then a variety of species. I swam over and then went on the beach. "Hey you ok?" One asked.
"Are you hurt?" The other questioned.
"No I'm fine"
"Awesome dude you sure you're ok ya?"
"Yeah."
"Dude we need your name. Where you from?"
"My names Crystal Amy. I come from Neutrino." Shock came around the group as they gasped. "Dude....Neutrino is destroyed. Was about 1000 years ago."
"WHAT!?!?!!?"
They fled back. "Xandos' toxin get to ya?"
"Maybe."
"Ahahaha. My names Extreme dude this is Dusk." The hedgehog shook my hand.
"Hahaha. Coming from Neutrino, what a joke!"
"I wasn't lying" I muttered.
"Hey I ain't saying it never existed ya?"
"It did, and I came from there"
"Whatever you say dude. c'mon lets get back to the village."
"Village?"
"Ya, the village on this island, this is the island of Berinstat."
"Yeah the whole place is called Crystalania. We go by the teachings of Herin"
"Oh cool I guess"
"Yeah. We love extreme gear, and we take part in chao races. I myself go solely for the extreme gear dude ya?"
"Ye-ah" I felt uneasy. Very uneasy.
"Dude ya lets go going" Extreme walked off up the sandy path with the others. Maybe his friends or team-mates. The girl I could tell was romantically involved with him. I felt like I could trust him. He was the only one so far who I myself could trust.

I too walked up the sandy path. I was headed for the village of Berinstat.

I missed out the Al Bhed and Rikku bit since I didn't understand it that well. I just skipped to the Tidus and Wakka scene. Hopefully you guys will like still though.

We made it to the town quite quickly. It was albeit a cute town. The main thing I saw was the temple. "This is the town buddy." Extreme said from behind me, the girl was clinging to him. "It's quite cute."
"Cute? This town is the best." Extreme dashed off in front, the girl was quickly after him. Screaming was heard. And people ran. "Fiends! Fiends attacking the village!" I looked suprised and then ran to see a slodge using ice attacks on buildings. I unsheathed my sword and saw the girl and Extreme came beside me. "Lets defeat this thing ya?!?!" A fight broke out.
"Now let me take ya through the basics of battling fiends, all fiends have a weakness. This is an ice globule. It's weakness is fire!"
"I don't have any fire attacks" I dampened.
"Ha, I know someone who does!" Extreme looked at the girl. "Hey Dusk, how about using a fire attack on this beast?"
"Of course Extreme honey!" The girl named Dusk rose her hands above her head and then brought them forward, unleashing a fire attack on the unfortunate creature. It disappeared leaving flares to soak into the ground. I looked behind her to see another beast.
"Ha, this is a rare sight, a Crimanot!" Extreme sure knew his stuff.
"Hey Amy, show me what ya got and kill this thing ya?" I brought my sword out again and jumped towards the Crimanot before slashing it. Thought it didn't die.
"Hahaha, you need training dudette." Extreme brought out a board, which striked me.
"Woooooooow. An Extreme Gear."
"Ya! I'm gonna have a shot at this thing." Extreme jumped on his board and ascended. He was right above the beast before soaring down and slashing it brutally with the side of his extreme gear. The Crimanot growled before falling. Each one of them made a pose. "Yeah we did it!" Dusk jumped up and down.
"I must admit, you were quite good. Heh, now I have to show ya something else." Extreme took something out of his pant pocket. "It's a sphere grid. Also, do you know the prayer of Crystalania?"
I shook her head vigourously.
"Oh ya, the toxin of Xandos." Extreme remembered.
A woman ran past. "THE SUMMONER! THE SUMMONER IS IN TROUBLE!"
"What, The summoner!?!?!!?" Extreme ran off quickly towards the temple. So did Dusk. Not one favouring to be alone (most of the time) I followed. Who knew what was gonna happen? Who was the summoner?

We ran into the temple and then up the stairs. Extreme and Dusk stopped. "Hey Amy, sorry but you can't come in, it's ugh....... guardians only?"
"WHAT!?" I whined.
"Hey, we have abide by the rules of Herin" Extreme shrugged and then opened the big crystal doors to go inside. Dusk smiled weakly and followed.

A few minutes after, I grunted. I looked down the steps to look around and see no-one. I smiled and then opened the doors. A flash went on the door and then it opened. I went inside.

I looked inside and then saw decrepit crystal walls. Glyphs were scattered on them occasionally. I saw a crevice with a crystal ball in it. I forced the ball out and then looked to see a glyph. I touched it and another crevice appeared. I looked at the ball and the shrugged, thinking I might aswell give it a shot. I stuck the crystal ball in and a thin trail of crystal travelled up the wall and then hardened. I poked it and it shattered instantly. The wall jerked and then went up, revealing another passageway. My teeth chattered absent-mindedly and I then walked down the cube-spiral stairs and saw another glyph. On the adjacent wall I saw another crevice, with yet another crystal ball, I immediately knew what to do. I walked along the corridpor and took the crystal ball out, I also touched the glyph and as if by magic, the crevice that I was expecting to appear, appeared. I abruptly put the crystal ball in the crevice and again the door opened once the ball had been put in the spot. I looked and then saw the hallway ahead was pitch black, with a flicker of light ahead.

I ran down and then opened the door slightly. Extreme was pacing back and forward with Dusk sitting on the stairs, minding her own business. Extreme spoke up. "Hey Dusk, how long do you think, he's gonna be?"
"As long as he needs to be." Dusk replied, not twitching a muscle. Extreme's ears flickered at the sound of my creaking the door ever so slightly, he turned to face the door and scowled. "We know it's you, come in."
I gulped and then shut the door completely, I knew I had been found out but I didn't want to have to face Extreme's wrath, it looked like he could do a LOT of damage, to the esteem of a person, or maybe a punch in the face. I shook my head, hating myself for what I did. Maybe I shouldn't have come down. I opened the door and then walked in, trying to keep a brave face.

I saw him. His face told me it all. "What did I say? I told you to stay in the main temple. You could have cursed us all." Bit lighter than what I expected. A small tremour and then the door to the fayth opened. Inside the doorway, was a person I recognised. The memory shot through my head. It was.... Power Demon. He looked significantly different. I just smirked as he looked at me, I saw him faintly huff and then walk down the small staircase to be on the same level as me.

We walked back through the Cloister of Trials. I was at the back with Extreme while Dusk and Power Demon were in front.

Back inside the main part of the temple, I saw myself being eyed up by the temple's priest. I felt like flooring him and then kicking him, that was my rash nature kicking in. I had to control it.

9:00pm main village square

3 logs were laid out as the fire sparks clrackled. I looked up to the sky. It was a clear navy blue sky, decorated with crystalline bright stars. I connected the stars to make a sort of constellation. It was quite a big one. I then focused the picture to make it apparent. Spear and Mystico. My eyes twitched as I remembered Spear falling into the murky water below. He must've been sent here too. I muttered his name under my breath which attracted Extreme's attention, who was of course, sitting next to me.
"So...." He nudged me as he tried to start up a conversation. "Like it here?" He asked feebly.
"It's alright I guess." I drank a bit more of my cup of hot chocolate.
"Whats on your mind dudette?" He asked in a warm tone. I smiled, looking up at him. "My friend fell down into water as we tried to escape from it. I don't know whether he's been sent here or whether he still back there...... laying in sandy water..... DEAD!"I screamed. People looked. "HE'S DEAD EXTREME! ALL OF THEM, ALL OF MY CITY!!! I'M THE ONLY ONE ALIVE!!!! I SHOULD BE DEAD TOO LIKE THE REST OF THEM!!!" My outburst was short spent. It was hard to see but transparent tears fell from my eyes, an attribute of mine. Extreme also stood up and led me away. What was he doing?

He had a scowl on his face like one a wolf would have after not a very good hunt. "Amy. Spear IS here. I know. Power Demon has told me that another being from your time and place is here." I stopped even though Extreme was still pulling me. "He is?" I asked simply.
He stopped and turned to face me "Ya."
I smiled weakly. That outburst of mine was unnecessary then. I smiled again. I nodded my head in acceptance, Extreme and Power Demon had to be right, after all, they are professionals. I was led back to the campfire.

It was an alright night. Not much happened, maybe coz I was staring into the fire for a long duration of time. No-one seemed to notice my lostness, my yearning to return home, and to see everything fixed, in place, normal and how it should be. But I had to accept it, I was never going home. Extreme turned round slightly to see me staring into the fire, like I was examining it. But actually, I was searching it for clues, clues like where I would be lead, if I would see Spear soon, why I was sent here........ or if I would ever get back. Extreme walked up to me, he sure was friendly, in fact, ever since I got her he's been treating me like a friend he's known for years. Must've been a character trait of his, make friends with everyone immediately, how admirable. I smiled again at my previous thought, then grew a straight face, looking into the fire more, only darting my eyes over to Extreme once. "I promise he is here."
"I believe you" I quickly said, not giving him any eye contact, and just staring into the fire.
"Something is definitely wrong with you, and not guilt or anything like that dudette"
"Nothing is wrong, I'm just........" I paused searching for an answer that wouldn't lead to more questions. "Confused" I finally said. He shrugged, no more questions asked. "Heh, you'll get outta it." He patted my shoulder and smiled down at me then returned to Dusk and the others. I grew a thinking face. Why was he being so nice to a stranger? I mean. I hardly know him and yet he hardly knows me, but he's still treating me like a lifelong friend. I shook my head. Extreme was difficult to decipher.


Morning: Path down to the beach: 9:00am

I looked up at the morning sky and then sighed. It reminded me of Neutrino's sky heavily. I trudged through the sand then came onto the beach that I landed on. I saw it. No, I saw him. Grey, and orange, and soggy clothes. My eyes widened to the diameter of saucepans and I ran towards him, now panting. I crouched beside him and then shook him. I grew frantic as he didn't respond with anything. "Please Spear" I whispered. I turned him over and took seaweed off of his quills. I pressed on his chest, after I moved his cross away, as to not break it. Coughs were heard and water gushed from his mouth. Eyes opened a crack then opened fully. "Spear, you ok? It's me Amy." Spear registered the voice and then smiled, leaning up. "Amy, where are we?"
"We're on an island, in the future, 1000 years into the future where Neutrino is destroyed." His eyes widened like mine did earlier. "But thats impossible."
"It's not. I promise. I have some friends though, they'll dry your clothes, and make sure you're alright." I picked him up and then discovered the gash near the bottom right of his stomach. "Spear!" I pointed to the wound. "How'd ya do that?!"
"I was attacked by some fiends when I was swimming in the sea. I saw this island and well swam. They attacked me and made me unconscious I guess, and I got drifted here."
I heard sandy sounds, like people were walking down the path. As I thought, Extreme and Dusk had come, I think they knew I would be down here. Extreme stopped briefly and then started walking towards, analyzing Spear all the way. "Amy, this your friend ya?" He called and then ran to be beside us. Dusk took a little longer then caught up. "Hey dude, you must be Spear!" He held his hand out. "Extreme.... He's hurt, he got hurt by fiends, can we save introductions for later when he can actually hold himself up." I was kinda angry that Extreme didn't think of getting him back to the village first, but instead thought of introductions. Extreme held Spear's other side and then Dusk just walked in front of us, so she could burn, jolt, freeze, or drown any fiends if they were to jump out on us. I was happy though, coz at least I had someone here, who I knew, and would stick beside me any decision.

We got back to the village pretty quickly. Everyone was up and bright. Power Demon just came out of the temple, with a cloak round his neck, and a staff, which was used to summon, I believe.
He walked over and talked to us, mainly Extreme and Dusk. "I have been told that I need to go to other temples. They also said that I will gain aeons, which are used in battle" He glanced to me and Spear. "Are you two tagging along with us?" Before I could answer Extreme butted in.
"Aww... YEAH! Course she is!"
I laughed nervously. "Yeah... what he said." I added in.
"We better pack up supplies, like Phoenix Downs, and Potions, maybe some Echo Screens and Antidotes, no Softs, coz there are no fiends in this area that petrify" Power Demon walked into his own tent. Extreme jumped up and down with joy. "Aww sweet, this adventure quest will be awesome" I admired his enthusiasm, but I felt he was going a little OTT.

Power Demon came back a few minutes later and handed some rucksacks to Extreme and Dusk. "Shall we be headed off?" He asked.
We all nodded, I was surprised that Extreme had managed to contain himself. I shoved him out of my mind and focused on the small journey ahead.

We started walking up the path that was conjoined to the village. When you got to the top there was a big cliff, where you could see the whole village, spectacular view. There was a small ruin aswell, which Extreme prayed at quickly. Apparently, it paid homage to all those who died by Xandos. I dampened slightly.

Extreme got up and looked at Dusk, me Power Demon and Spear. Dusk was just waiting patiently, Spear was looking over the edge at the sea, I found myself near the path we were headed towards and Power Demon was near the ruin aswell. Extreme told us he was ready and then walked to me, as I was near the path we were to be headed on. I decided to rear up conversation." So where are we headed?"
"We are headed to Reminghall Port, where we will proceed to Reminghall temple, for my next aeon" Power Demon replied.

I looked up and saw what looked like machinery, with plants growing over them, it got me thinking slightly..... Was machina really that bad?

Spear, Power Demon, Extreme and Dusk walked ahead, as I fell back, I guess I was admiring or observing the machines a bit too much. I felt a murmur, and a shuffle. Before my eyes could realise it, a dragon warrior was standing in my way. It huffed. Spear looked back and widened his eyes. Without telling the others he ran back towards me and this dragon warrior. "What the--" I couldn't finish my sentence as I had to evade a quick swipe with a sword. I growled and decided to fight back, unsheathing my crystal sword, a battle broke out. He was quite noble, as we took it in turns to slice each other. A heard a rude cough. The dragon and Spear, aswell as me looked to see Dusk standing there with Extreme one side and Power Demon the other. "What is going on?" She said in a motherly tone. "Dregolas, what are ya doing attacking her?"
The dragon, now known as Dregolas hung his head in shame. He put his sword back in his satchel and then bowed, like he was apologizing without uttering a word. "Don't worry Amy, Dregolas isn't on to talk much, since he has been protecting me from birth he has been like that." Dusk explained. Dregolas walked past all of them. I thought I understood the matter. The dragon dude thought I was gonna hurt Dusk. I shrugged, pushing it off my chest. We all started walking again.

We made it to the beach, where I had found Spear. I looked over and saw a small pier where a boat was docked. "We are going on that ship" Power Demon pointed. Extreme jumped up and then ran towards the pier. We all walked and climbed a few steps. A board was put down to allow us to get onto the ship. Extreme ran up and onto the ship, gesturing the rest of us to come on too. Power Demon huffed and then entered the boat. Dusk and Dregolas walked up and then stood by Extreme. Me and Spear were left. An announcement. "THE BOAT WILL BE LEAVING IN 2 MINUTES! PLEASE HURRY" I looked at Spear, Spear looked at me. I broke the gaze and then looked out to sea and then saw a flash across me. Mystico. "I promise Mystico, I will find a way back, it'll be the same again, us racing, winning championships... being famous and happy" Spear grew a solemn face and walked to me. "Hey Amy, everything ok?" My train of thought was interrupted and I looked down at him. His eyes were trying to analyze me, interrogate me. "Yes, I was just thinking." I knew Spear wanted to see Quazon again, as I did Mystico, but we both knew things would most likely never change back, we would be stuck here.... without them both. A toot and I realised the boat would be setting sail. Spear and I rushed onto the deck. The board was pulled back and then gate to the ship was closed as the ship departed the small harbour. People waved. Extreme waved back vigorously, Dusk did a normal wave. Spear pressed his hands onto the side and looked out, a big grin across his face. Dregolas stood back, watching as the people dwindled to specks, Power Demon did a similar action, he was just grinning wickedly. I however didn't watch. My hands were pressed firmly on the guard and I looked into the water, my reflection.... I muttered Mystico's name again, which made Spear's eyes quickly shift to me, a thoughtful expression plastered across his face..... He knew something was up.

Soon the pier became a speck, then nothing. Power Demon walked away and into the cabins down below, I guessed he was going to meditate. We all soon backed away from the side, as the winds were making the water choppy. Dusk also walked off to the front of the ship. She startd making ice and water in her hands and made patterns in the air. Dregolas stood by and watched her, making sure nothing happened.

Few minutes after I found myself standing at the very front, a small piece of wood went out the front of the ship. There was a rope that made it impossible to get to the edge. Spear was on the top deck, watching me, how I knew this, was because I saw him, as I turned my head a little. He was very overprotective of his friends. Extreme was gracing the water quickly on his extreme gear. I smiled at him. He smiled back and waved. He kicked his board and then jumped back on deck. "Oh hey guys, after we get to Reminghall can we go to Opas? The championship of Extreme gear is there, and I really wanna go." Dusk, Spear, and Dregolas gathered round, as did I. "What brought this up?" Dusk asked.
"I just remembered that the people running it wanted me to join, and I've decided.... So can we?" Extreme was hopeful. I had nothing against it, Spear didn't, and Dregolas said nothing, so that must've meant he didn't object.
"Are you out of your mind Extreme!?!?!!" I looked to the source of the noise. Power Demon stood, leant against the cabin wall. "We are going to each temple...not to places where Extreme gear happen." He walked up. "We are going to specifically divert from Opas" Now that, I thought, was unfair.
"It wouldn't hurt Power Demon, besides, it would give us a small break." Everyone noddeed, agreeing with my idea. Power Demon huffed and returned back inside. Dusk spoke up. "Don't worry Extreme, I bet he wants to get this over with as soon as possible." We all returned to where we once were. Spear's shoes clanked against the oakwood deck. He came beside me. "I know somethings up, I miss the little dudes aswell." I knew what he meant, he had heard me. "But we can't dwell on it, we will find a way back. I promise." He held out his little finger, adorned with glove. "Hey promise we won't dwell, just focus on whats happening?" He pushed it forward. I smiled, Spear always knew how to cheer me up. I held out my little finger and wrapped it round his. Up and down, then released. "I promise" Spear winked.
"Thats the spirit." A sudden jerk, sent everybody to the floor. "What the heck was that?" I said quickly. Dregolas grabbed Dusk in an effort to protect her. His sharp claws sunk into the wooden wall. Extreme grabbed a pole and attempted to hold on desperately. Me and Spear unfortunately had literally nothing stable to hold onto. The waves got higher and more sharp.The front part that went over the bow of the ship snapped off due to th immense force. Another wave and out came what looked like a gigantic fin, covered in coral. Extreme widened his eyes. "THATS XANDOS!" The ship was titling side to side rapidly as the water, forming rain doused the ship, drenching everyone, apart from Power Demon, the little rat was inside. I ran down the stairs with Spear, tripping slightly and I ran under the covers that made a makeshift mast. Only the fin had come up. Dregolas growled ferally and gave Dusk to Extreme before going forward, taking out a sword and shield. I also felt a will to fight, so I drew mine and ran next to Dregolas, he seemed to appreciate it. Spear ran and skidded beside us both. The fin waved from side to side as little spawn came from it, and then unwrapped and became able to move, once they had landed on deck."We need to defeat that fin, me and Dregolas will focus on the spawn, you Spear, target that fin, with all your might." I said out our plan. A battle broke out as the spawn scuttled from side to side. Spear charged some plasmatic energy in his hands and then hurled it at the fin, making a small burn, and making some coral drop and splash into the ocean before us. "I have some long range attacks too." I blurted out. I thrust my hand forward and a thick spire of crystal sliced the fin, making more coral drop off. The spawn scuttled forward, attempting to hit us, but we were too fast. Dregolas, jumped forward, and slashed across the chest of two spawn, leaving one left. Spear snarled and then charged up one ball ball, abaout the size of his head and then made it hurtle towards the fin, damaging it greatly.

We had gotten quite a ways through the battle, people vs beast when suddenly two men came on board and went to each grapple holder. I reached out. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"
"We are gonna pierce this beast." Before I could say anything else the grapple hooks were shot and dug into the fin of Xandos.

We were being pulled towards Reminghall faster than a bullet train, the S.S Tidal I thought could not take the pressure of being so fast.

We were coming close to being to Reminghall. Without thinking it over I jumped onto one rope and cut it with my sword, and then before it went limp I dug my sword into the other, making the boat free. The boat stopped as Xandos swam on.

We all stood and took a breather. Dusk hugged Extreme tightly and Dregolas nodded at me, as if thanking me for the help. I nodded back. I looked around.... "Spear?"....... Another try "Spear!?" Everyone started to look around now. I then realised. I dashed to the edge and looked into the water. "SPEAR!!!" I jumped onto the edge and then dove in. All the others went to the edge.

Under the water I looked around, the water was hurting my eyes. I saw a silver blob, and then realised it must be Spear. I swam quickly over and then pulled him up to the surface. Extreme was on his extreme gear looking over, as he was just on the waters edge. We came up and he grabbed my hand and then attempted to pull me and Spear up. Dregolas leant over and then pulled Extreme.

We got over the side and I pulled Spear to be on his back. I pushed his chest multiple times. After about the 7th he spluttered water up. Reacting quicky I pulled him up and hugged him, he was the only person here who I knew well, so losin g him would've been like losing all hope. Dregolas pointed. "Reminghall is coming closer, and it doesn't look too good." We all looked, Dusk and Extreme gasped, Dregolas closed his eyes and made a sad face. Spear and me grew an angryface as we most likely knew what had happened. "Xandos has been here" Everyone nodded, apparently it was not only I who had shared this guess.

(I'm back)


The boat landed at the dock and we all slowly descended the plank, our eyes transfixed on the mess of planks. People were lying, still and lifeless, bobbing in the water. I felt some pain at heart, but mostly anger. "Why did Xandos do this?" Dusk asked.
"Maybe he was teaching us another lesson" Dregolas responded, half-heartedly. Extreme piped up. "Lets try to find some survivors, or at least we can help rebuild...."


Few hours later most of the planking had been fixed, even the path to the Reminghall Woods. Dregolas had been left behind to help fix the few remaining parts.

We walked through the woods. There was a bridge and a big plant-like creature on the other side. "Thats a Lord Ochu!" Extreme pointed it at it while looking at us.
"Guess we need to divert" Power Demon suggested.
"Nah we can just sneak by it" Extreme said proudly.
"What if it wakes up?" I asked
"We fight it" Extreme quickly responded.
Dusk and Extreme both walked over the bridge and then went onto tip-toes as they tried to slip past the Lord Ochu.
It had fours arms that were sprawled out. Dusk jumped swiftly over one, but Extreme had succeeded, as he tripped over the arm. Lord Ochu woke up quickly and gave it's signature roar. I sighed as I ran to join them. Dusk charged fire power and then shot it at the Lord Ochu, wow....... critical hit, one strike from both me and Extreme and it would be down. I jumped forward and sliced across one of it's massive legs. Extreme jumped on his extreme gear and then went up through the sky before slashing it across the mouth, and sending it down onto it's side. Extreme and Dusk thanked me as the others came up. We could see the stairs leading to the Reminghall Temple, and the Cloister. "Lets go." Power Demon walked on with us right behind him.

We travelled up the stairs quickly and then a crash. "Something is wrong. Lets get there quickly!" Power Demon ran up the stairs quicker. Me, Extreme and Dusk followed.

We got to the top and saw a big plant like creature. Which looked positively ugly. "THATS SINSPAWN GUI!" I knew what we had to do. I unsheathed my crystal sword and then ran over. It's two hands were at the back of the plaza. "C'mon guys." I called. Power Demon ran up beside me with his staff, he twirled it and then stood in position. Dusk and Extreme both nodded too and then stood next to us. (I can have 4 at a time if I want!)
"Lets beat this thing" Extreme triumphantly said. We engaged into battle. Extreme kept an eye on the plant hands at the back just incase they tried an attack. Dusk flung her hands forward delivering a fire attack to the plant like creature.
Extreme widened his eyes as one plant hand came forward. "Amy dodge it's coming for you!" I looked round and then slashed it with my sword, chopping off one thin whip-like finger. The mouth then expelled some kind of poisonous acid. It hit us and poisoned us brutally. We all crouched down as the poison would gradually take away our health. We weren't the strongest of people aswell. Extreme hopped on his board. The other hand attacked. Extreme lifted up and then shot two arrows, pinning the hands down. "Amy, try and slice the fingers, when they touch you they cause darkness!" Dusk called to me. I ran and swiftly jumped in between the spaces as I sliced each finger off, on both hands. Both hands squirmed about under the arrows and then souls sparked and the hands disappeared.

"Dusk, any other attacks from the fire family?" I asked her. She shook her head. Power Demon growled as he was inflicted from the poison, we all jerked as it tore into us and took away HP.
"I'LL SUMMON VALEFOR!" We all got back and Power Demon summoned. A spark from the sky as a arrow shape came from the sky. It opened up and then landed. Power Demon pointed forward to signal attack. Valefor flew up and started flapping it's wings in flight. "USE SONIC WINGS!" The aeon brought it's wings back and then forward, delivering a gust of wind to the Sinspawn. It's Overdrive meter was maxxed out after one dreadful hit from Sinspawn Gui. "ENERGY RAY!" Power Demon commanded Valefor with such grace and control. The aeon twirled while acsending, it slowly pulled it's head back while charging it's power and then thrust it forward, a small line going through Gui, rocks blasted up from the ground and damaged Gui seriously. Another powerful attack to Valefor brought it down, and Power Demon called it back. Without thinking I ran forward. Crystal chareged in my sword hand, I threw my sword and daggered the Gui in one eye, filled with pus. Dusk's face turned green. Extreme bearly could hold it in. Power Demon huffed, as I made a crystal trail and then began to ride upon it. I jumped onto it's head and made two long thick crystal spires. I screamed and then protruded them into the head. The head rocked back and forth as I jumped down, took out my sword and then grinded down the crystal trail I had made. The Gui then disappeared as souls floated round.
"Defeated." A big hole was left on the Reminghall PLaza, one more flight of steps until we got to the actual Cloister.

(I don't believe I got the Sinspawn Name right so I might modify.... Gui is the one you fight at the Mushroom Rock... haha.)

We ran up the stairs and then saw the Cloister. "Inside there, where I will get my second Aeon." Power Demon said, looking at the entrance to the temple. "Lets go." We ran inside the temple. Bursts of flames on sticks that were scattered around the perimeter of the hall. A large flight of stairs, that had the same stick with fire, lighting the way for the summoner and his or her guardians. It hit me suddenly. Was I a guardian? Was I allowed in? Extreme last time said I couldn't... "Hey Power Demon... Am I a guardian?" I asked him, curiously. He looked at me.
"No... when I appoint ou a guardian, then you may come in.... and I doubt I may ever appoint you one... unless you save me from death or something..." He looked at Extreme and Dusk. "Come on, we need to go."
As least I wasn't on my own. I still had Spear to wait with.

Few minutes, or what seemed like hours later I saw Power Demon, Extreme and Dusk exit the chamber. They walked down the fire-lit staircase. "I have gained it... now, lets go back down and met Dregolas at the port."

We got outside the temple and almost all the people that were there before, were gone. Power Demon walked in front, like aleader figure with Extreme and Dusk either side of him. Me and Spear were at the back, being treated like tag-alongs, which in fact we weren't, we were part of the team too. Power Demon annoyed me so much. I had to become a guardian. I had to somehow make Spear one too.



(I'll research the name of the Plant Sinspawn, I knew it wasn't Gui, but that was the only one I knew so I went with that.)

We jogged down the stairs quickly and Extreme boarded down on his extreme gear, grinding on the banister of the stone steps.

We cut through the jungle easily, since the Lord Ochu was gone. "Please no fiends" I whispered. Bad choice of words, and no wood to touch for superstition. A dog like fiend ran in front of us. Spear and me ran forward and grinned at Power Demon. He huffed, at our apparent incompetence. Spear charged a plasma ball and thrust it at the dog, and then I finished it off with a small slice. Spear and me did a high - five before giving a small chuckle, Extreme and Dusk seemed quite happy too, but Power Demon, the summoner of the group only gave a huff of annoyance and continued on. Us four left realized Power Demon had left us and then shrugged before continuing on.

We ran across the bridges and saw Dregolas standing near the ship. We all ran up to him. "Everything has been fixed, and now, we can leave"
"Good" Power Demon said out of the blue. He boarded a different ship which was larger than the other one. Extreme cheered. "Are we going to Opas?"
"I guess so" Dusk told him. She smiled at Extreme's reactions, Spear and I smiled aswell. Extreme deserved to be able to to do the race, he had earned it. He shouldn't matter about what Power Demon said. He's insignificant, him and his opinions. I snorted. Extreme, Dusk, my friend, Spear, and I got on the ship. The board was taken away and then ship was shut so we couldn't fall off.
"Next destination.... OPAS!" Extreme cheered again. "I better practice my extreme gear techniques, I heard there's a lot of grinding gonna be involved.
Dregolas sat under the shade of a parasol on top deck, feeling the light breeze hit his scaly skin. Extreme was grinding around on anything he could literally grind on. I was making a few small crystal structures with my crystal abilities, and then Dusk was using different techniques to shatter them. Lightning, Fire, Water, and Ice. I felt quite annoyed, but it helped her, so I had nothing against it. Spear, I felt, was acting odd, he was just looking out to the vast sea, doing quite frankly, nothing, when we were at Opas, I would talk to him.

I walked up to Spear carefully. He hates it when he's startled, and often gets irritated. "Spear... summink wrong?" He turned round when he heard my voice.
"Nah everything's ok, just thinking 'bout Quazon a lot"
"Yeah, I must them too, but thinking about it will, most likely, lower our guard, and ya know, all that other stuff" I laughed slightly.
"Has Power Demon tried to divert our course?" Spear asked.
"Nope, he's said nothing about it, he's in the minority anyway" I explained.
"Good, I think we need a break anyway"
"I agree fully" I looked over the edge and saw Extreme zoomed from out of the water and then crash landed on the deck. Dusk quickly shot over to him and turned him so his back was against the deck, and started comforting him, and trying to wake him up "Extreme..." She said "Extreme" She said again, this time with a bit more worry.
"What happened anyway?"
"I'm guessing maybe a monster attacked Extreme while he was training, pulled him under the water, and when he fought back he was thrown out the water" Dregolas quietly said to me.
Extreme woke up slowly. "Whoa.... first thing I'm on the sea skimming it with my board, and next thing.... I'm on deck."
"You have no recollection of what happened?" Spear asked.
"Yeah dude... I dunno what attacked me, but it was rough I can tell ya"
"It was a mindseel. It attacks it's prey and while being attacked, it induces the prey into a brain dead state, kind of, in which they have no idea about the attack. It had finished and once out of grasp, Extreme was returned to his normal state" We looked round and saw Power Demon leaning against a wooden wall.
"Be careful next time Extreme"
"I will. I promise. I just wasn't expecting it"
"Good"
The Captain ran onto deck. "Opas is on the horizon"
""How long till landing?" Spear asked.
"5 minutes or so"
We all looked at the horizon and saw the visage of a big dome. Extreme stood up and became awed at the sight. "The.... e-extreme gear dome!" He stammered
