A TALE OF ADVENTURE: LEGEND OF THE SWORDS
Book 2

Chapter 1
Act I
A New Adventure

It has been one year since the Death of Sage Malkor, and the Great War as it said in the note Malkor will be waiting for us in a tavern in Melovor, obviously Ray and Jake havent found him yet. There are rumors about Seven Swords and the Seven Chosens of the other worlds. I'll just tell you the legend, two thousand years ago Seven Swords were created to keep peace and prosperity in the worlds, they were givin to Seven Chosens the first seven were, Acrux and the Scorvious Blade, Shrontos and the Guardian Strife Blade, Seris with the Dark Skull Blade, Zane and the Grimsliver, Alazer and the Hapshar Blade, Galazior and the Sakabatou, and Mortham with the Damascus Sword. They were intended to protect the worlds but, Seris went mad with the power given to him and used his blade for evil purposes. To protect the worlds from further harm they struck and killed Seris then with the power of the seven swords they sealed them away for future chosens to maybe bring peace back to the Realms. This is were Ray and Jake come in.

Hey guys sorry I havent posted this in a long time, I have taken a break from writing.
But, I'm back! Prepare for Book 2!

Act 11
The Story

It was a bright summer day just outside of the

Kimato Forest, Ray and Jake were having a practice duel.

"Garock NE!" Ray shot a blast of lightning from his palm,

"Shikiris!" but, Jake countered with a shield spell. "You two

have really improved.." said a mysterious voice. "Whose

there?!" asked Ray, "Well, lets just say your Master, Sage

Malkor, he was my grandfather..I am Malkor, the one he

said would be watching over you two." replied Malkor.

"But, there is little time, come with me.." said Malkor,

"What?!" Ray laughs, "You cant just expect us to follow

someone we have just met, where are you taking us?"

asked Jake. "I will take you to my study, in the Kimato

Forest." "Whats in it for us Malkor?" asked Ray, "Whats in it

for you? Hmph, have you ever wondered Ray, Jake, why

the Guardian Strife Blade, and the Scorvius blade, ever

chose you?" asked Malkor, "Wondered? They were family

gifts, from..Our fathers" replied Jake. "Is that what you've

been lead to believe? Your swords were not just some

mere gift, they belong to a legacy, that you the chosens

must fufill." said Malkor. "Come with me, and I will tell you of

this Legend." Ray and Jake wanted to know more of why

they were chosen, and what this Legend was all about.

Upon arriving Malkor's Study, they noticed many strange

things, such as odd mushroom caps and many strange

smells. "This is it, my study." said Malkor, "Akoros!" with that

enchantment the door unlocked. "Take a seat boys, make

yourselves at home." Ray and Jake saw so many peculiar

things, they couldnt even tell what a chair even looked like.

"Ah, here it is, 'The Legend of the Seven Swords'." said

Malkor. "Okay, see here, thats Shorontos and Acrux, the first

too weild your swords." Malkor pointed to two tall figures,

one resembled Ray and the other Jake, they were both

holding, their swords. 'They and along with the other

Chosens sealed away a man named, Seris, he used his

sword for evil purposes." said Malkor, "It was said that one

of them died, but his friend traveled to a place called, 'The

Thousand Acre Graveyard', and fought to save the others

soul." said Malkor. "Coooool" said Ray and Jake. "This book

also says that each sword, held an Oracle, which

commanded an Elemental force. The Guardian Strife Blade,

fire, The Scorvius Blade, Ice, the Darkskull Sword, Darkness,

Grimsliver, Air, Hapshar Blade, Water, Sakabatou, Light, and

Damascus, Earth. Each Oracle was sealed on every blade.

Lets see your Oracle Ray." Ray summoned the Guradian

Strife Blade and examined his sword for the Oracle of Fire,

but he found nothing. "Hmm, Strange, Ray your sword

appears to be missing its Oracle. Jake lets check yours."

Jake summoned the Scorvious Blade, and his sword to, had

no Oracle. "This is bad, without the Oracle of Fire, and Ice,

we wont be able to master your chosen elements." said

Malkor. "How do we find them Malkor?" asked Jake,

"Hmmm, I would suspect, the Alter of Fire and Ice, in Corva,

and Alatria, the City of Ice, and the City of Fire." replied

Malkor. "Well, what are we waiting for, lets go get them!"

exclaimed Ray, "Easier said than done Ray." replied Jake.

"Corva and Alatria our basically on the other side of the

world. One in the North and one in the South. Not to

mention the beasts we would have to fight to even have a

chance of getting half way." said Jake

Act 111

"Jake is right Ray, it would be very hard, a perilous journey, maybe you should work on keeping your darkness spells at bay, you remember what happend the..", "I know what happend Malkor!" replied Ray out of turn. "I promised Jake on the battlefield that I would never use my Dark magic, unless I truly needed to." said Ray." "Well Ray you seem pretty confident in yourself. Listen, Jake, your element is Ice, is it not? and Ray, yours fire. I will teach you both a minor fire and ice spell, if you two can master it by morning, than we may leave, if not, you will undergo a one month training course!" said Malkor. "Haha, Malkor, I hope you remeber I'm the smart one, it wont take me long." Jake said with confidence. Ray smirked and said, "I betcha I can master it before you can." replied Ray, "Okay lets see! Malkor were outside, come on."said Jake. They all left the house and went to Malkor training Circle, its had a mysterious glowing circle, a huge circle, it looked as if it were some kind of arena. "Alright, Ray, yours is simple, hold out your hand and say, Honoo." As Malkor said that a bright flame shot up in his hand. "Coooool, let me try, Honoo!" Ray took a deep breath, "Honoo!....Honoo!, HONOO!" but nothing happend. "Arg! Come on!" yelled Ray, "Okay Jake, your spell is also easy, point your hand in the direction of what you want to freeze and say, Fuyuzare!" Suddenly a bolt of frost came spitting out of Malkor's hand and instantly froze a small bush, completely.
"Awsome, okay, lets do this. Fuyuzare!" *poot* a small flake of Ice popped out of Jake's hand. "Ah come on!" Jake sighed. "Well, I'll leave you two to your training." said Malkor. "Yeah, yeah, Honoo! Honoooooo!" Ray whispered. An hour had passed by quickly, Ray could create a small spark, and Jake could completely freeze a stick. "This is pointless..." said Ray, "No, no we can do it, it will just take sometime." replied Jake. It was almost dusk, there were already some stars out. "Okay, maybe we need to be in a spot of danger, you know, like the spells will be triggered by our fear." said Jake, "Okay and how will we do that?" asked Ray. "With a Training battle ofcourse, this giant circle has to be for someting." "Okay, yeah I see." said Ray. "Three, Two, One...FIGHT!" yelled Jake! Malkor had been observing them this whole time through his Scrying Orbs. "Honooo!" *Flash!* there was a blot of Fire, "Fuyuzare!" *Woosh* a blot of frost leaped out. "Good but, What they didnt think about was, if a fire and ice spell hit each other on impact, there would be an arcane explosion." Thought Malkor. *Bang!* the spells clashed together, leaving Ray and Jake on the ground exhausted. "Truce?" asked Ray, "Truce" replied Jake. *Poof* Malkor appeared out of white smoke. "You two have really made progress, you also figured out the problem." said Malkor, "Problem? What problem?" asked Ray, "The spells will be stronger if you are in a battle, it brings fear in your body, and anticipation. Thats what triggers the spells." replied Malkor. "Hey! That means we can go find the Oracles, right?" asked Ray. "If you can be packed and ready to go by morning, which will probobly be in like four hours, than yes." said Malkor sarcastically. "Yes! Woo!" Ray and Jake were really excited, so excited, they were pack in half the time that Malkor gave them. "Yes! I've been waiting for a perilous journey, it was starting to get boring!" said Ray, and they were off.

Xemnort, a new Rival!
A short Intermission!

They had just left Malkor's House and were only a

couple of miles into the Kimato Forest. "So, what do these

Oracles look like?" asked Ray, "They look like orbs, but inside

they have a spinning hurricane of elemental power."

replied Malkor. "Coool" replied Jake. Suddenly it got a bit

darker in the woods. "Wow um, it got a little dark...didn't

it?" asked Ray shivering. "Probobly the Trees or the sun is

being blocked." replied Jake, "Yeah...your right." said Malkor.

Then as they were talking a huge bolt of lighting came

crashing down right in front of Ray. "WOAH! What the

heck?!" yelled Ray. "Thats strange, there doesnt seem to be

a storm clouds out." said Jake, "That wasn't a normal

lightining bolt. Remember when it touched ground, purple

sparks flew out, not white or yellow. Arcane magic." said

Malkor. "So what your saying is, someone just tried to kill

Ray with a fake lightining bolt?" asked Jake, "Pretty much

yes." 'Gorrrrr!' Something loud was coming. "Sigcrease!"

Malkor improved his sight with a spell. "Looks to be...A

FOREST TROLL! Both of you, get behind the tree, he is

coming this way!" exclaimed Malkor. *Bang* bang*Bang* it

took three mighty steps right beside them. 'Gorr' its

walked away. "That was quick thinking, using the sight spell

to see what was coming up." said Jake, "I try, its really just a

reaction now." said Malkor. Suddenly it had become more

dark then it was before. "Thats strange we should be

exiting this forest, it should be more, ya know lite up." said

Ray. "Hahahahahaha" hissed a strange voice. Right infront

of them a large black funnel appeared in front of them, and

out came a hooded character in black. "Xemnort," said

Malkor. "Malkor." replied Xemnort. "Your struggle is with

me, not with the kids." said Malkor. "Oh no, my purpose has

changed, I have to bring the chosens back and extract the

power from their swords so we can bring back, Xemnis."

replied Xemnort. "So, give me your swords and I will get

out of here." hissed Xemnort. "HAH! You'll have to take my

sword from me!" yelled Jake. "Be careful, Xemnort is much

more powerful than Xemnis was, he specializes in Mind

magic, toys with you. My grandfather wouldnt want you to

have these right now but, he isnt here. Ray, Jake,

remember those items that girl gave to you right outside of

the City of Dwarves?" said Malkor. "Yeah, I got the

uh...Nekaram Shuriken."replied Ray, "and I got the pack of

Ice Knives." said Jake. "Well, here take them back, they may

be hard to use at first but, you will master them eventually."

said Malkor, "Hello! Im still here" said Xemort. "GAROCK NE!"

shouted Xemnort while shootng a bolt of lightning at Jake.

"No! GAROCK NE!" Ray countered his bolt with another.

Ray's hand was smoking. "Ahhh! Arggg!" "That was dark

magic Ray, you cant just go using it whenever you want to

remember?" said Jake. "Ow, I remember." said Ray. "Looks

like we will have to do this the old fashioned way.

Guardian Strife Blade!" Ray summoned his mighty sword.

"Scorvius Blade!" Jake summoned his mighty blade.

"Honoo!" *Flash* Ray shot a bolt of fire at Xemnort.

"Fuyuzare!" Jake also blasted a bolt of Ice. "Haha, you use such weak elemental spells." said Xemnort. "Ha!" Xemnort caught the flame and the ice, spun it, then sent them back! "Woah! Jake move!", Me? You move!" *Bang* they were both hit with their opposite element. "Ray? Jake? are you okay?" asled Malkor. "Yeah.", "Im good." replied Ray and Jake. "You two stay back, I'm going to handle this." said Malkor. "Orio!" *flash* like Ray's dark ball, light ball of light came spinning into Malkor's hand. "Go!" Malkor shot it at Xemnort. "Shikiris" Xemnort blocked with an arcane sheild, but Malkor's orb of light was to strong for his minor sheild and it blasted him. "Uhhhh, this isnt over Malkor, when you arent with them, thats where I will strike, and kill one of them!" said Xemnort. "Yeah, okay. said Ray, "Like to see ya try!" they both said exhausted. "I will return." said Xemnort while flashing away in a dark cloud. "Hey Malkor, when we get out of here, remind me to ask you to teach us how to use these weapons." said Jake. "Alright, I guess you guys should learn how to dened yourselves somehow." replied Malkor. "HA! I'll have you know, in the City of dwarves, Jake and I took down a Rock Golem!" said Ray. "Oh Really?" said Malkor with sarcasim.

It had been about two hours and no one said anything because they were so tired of walking. "Oh my gosh...Hill after hill.." said Ray. "Dude, I know." replied Jake. "Well, Melovor is right over this hill, we have to stop there to get some supplies." said Malkor. Ray and Jake looked at eachother in surprise. "It has been a whole year since Jake and I were here." said Ray "I wonder if the city has changed any." As they climbed the hill they reached Melovor. "Wow, business is booming.." said Malkor. Even from their distance they could hear the hustle and bustle of the city. "Huh, the gate is open. It looks bigger than before." said Jake. "Okay, we need a White Dragon Cape, some potion materials, and hmm..dang I forgot," said Malkor. "Whats a Dragon Cape?" asked Jake. "They are flowing white capes, they arent really made of dragon scales, they get the name because they are as strong as dragon scales, they can stand up to a thousand boulders." replied Malkor. "Cool, so where do you find them, they sound rare." asked Ray. "They can be found from certain people...if you know them, they are made in Alatria." replied Malkor again. "You two wait here, I will get them." "Wow, dude, I remember so much about this place. All the evil, and the Darkness, its like it never even happend." said Ray, "I know, but there wont be any Darkness left in all of Zenzaris once we get our Oracles." replied Jake. "I'm back!" said Malkor, "Well that was fast.." said Ray. "Well I just used a spell that makes me go about thirty percent faster than you." replied Malkor. "Well you have everything?" asked Jake. "Yes, heres one for Ray and one for Jake." "Sweet, so where are we going first?" asked Jake. "Well, Corva is closest, that is where we will get Jake's Oracle."

They arrived at Nesi Bay at which seemed like hours. It smelled of seawater and fish. There were also many boats. "So this is the only way to get to Corva?" asked Jake. "Yes, Corva is a small island of nothing but snow and Ice. In the middle of Corva lies the small town of Itsuru. This small town was built at the foot of Acrux Mountain, to bring honor to the first chosen of Ice, Acrux." said Malkor. "Cool, so how do we get a boat?" asked Ray. "Well Ray this is a port city." replied Jake sarcastically. "You two wait here while I go and get us a boat." said Malkor. *Whoosh* in white smoke he was gone. "He leaves alot.." "Yep..", "Well that didnt take long, once you find a message board that states: 'Boat to Corva, Itsuru City, need a fire mage for safe travel through the ice, than you have found your boat." said Malkor. "Hah! That Captain not only has a fire user, he has 'the' Chosen of fire!" exclaimed Ray. "Quite Ray! There are dark forces here...spies..Which is why we must leave immediatly." replied Malkor, hastily. "There is our boat, lets get moving the faster we arrive in Corva the faster Jake gets his Oracle." Malkor said again. They arrived at their ship, it was a fairly decent boat, nice in size, and large white sails. "Excuse me sir? but if you dont already have a group to go with you to Corva, we need to travel there." asked Malkor. "Nope, your lucky, you get to sail with the best captain this world has ever seen." said the Sea Captain. "But, as you can see the water is already freezing over, we must leave quickly as this is not ordinary Ice." he said again.
"Alright, I'll get right to work, where do I need to be?" asked Ray. "You must be the Fire user I asked for, please, to the front of the ship, I need you to get rid of the ice as we sail." replied the Captain. "Fire User?! You mean the Cho.." "Hey Ray, why dont you go ahead over to the front of the ship, I have to talk with the Captain." interruppted Malkor. "Okay..." "Let free the Sails, untie the ropes, we are heading out to sea." yelled the Captain. Suddenly like that the ropes and sails did what he had commanded. "Magic boat, nice huh?" Ray and Jake rolled their eyes at the crazy Captain. "Okay Ray, I need you to produce as much fire as possible, to clear a path out o' here.Will ya do this for me?" asked the Captain. "Piece of cake." replied Ray. "Alright...massive fire spell..here goes..Magnus HONOO!" out of Ray's hand came a tower of Fire, spitting into the ice. Ray created a fine line to sail through with his fire spell. "That good enough for you?"asked Ray. "Yes! Yes ofcourse." replied the Captain. "Ray, since when could you do that?" asked Jake. "Um..I was looking through Malkor's spellbooks and I found it." replied Ray. "You boys may want to get some rest, its a nights travel from 'ere to Corva." said the Captain. "Yeah, Im pretty tired..I'm going to bed." replied Ray.

We've Arrived, Itsuru City.

"Oh my gosh...the sound of the waves are keeping me awake... BOOM! and CRASH!..." groaned Jake. "Ray, we need you to clear a path again, The continent of Corva is on the horizon." asked Malkor. "Not again..." Ray mumbled.
Jake put his head in his pillow, Suddenly all he could hear was, "Magnus..honoo.." and a large, bright, flash two seconds later. Jake then fell back to sleep. "We've arrived! Port o' Itsuru City!" yelled the Captain. "Shut up!" Jake said quickly. "Hey Jake, get up we are here for you..." said Malkor. "Here for me? What could possibly be here for me..in this big frozen wasteland.." Jake replied. From what it seemed the continent of Corva was a very cold place, the snow never stops falling. "Your Oracle Jake, you know the shiny little orb with intense energy..you know..."mumbled Ray. As Ray stepped out onto the cold wooden deck he couldn't help but shake all over. "Its sooooo cold! Why did you bring me here?!" asked Ray. "Alright Itsuru City is just north o' here bout two miles, from there you should see Acrux Mountain, it has a very odd light at the top of it." said the Captain. "I'm off! Alright back to the Port Nesi." Just like that his boat set sail and was headed back to the port. "Okay boys, heres your Dragon Capes, they should keep you warm until we get to the City, and another thing, when traveling through Corva, strange things start to happen, we may even run into the YETI!" said Malkor. "The Yeti? Please.... If it even came up to ten feet close to me, it would be a crispy yeti." replied Ray. With that, they ventured through the snow, to Itsuru.
