Spear eyed the black hedgehog, making a disgusted face at him after he was done. The other did the same. A vast crowd of people gathered round awed at what was going to happen, everyone would find out or wouldn't they? Shadow lunged at Spear and grabbed his shoulders pushing him down and kicked his chest, this snapped his cross that was hanging round his neck. This really annoyed Spear "MY GRANDMA GAVE THAT TO ME BEFORE SHE DIED! YOU SLIMY WORTHLESS BALL OF FUR!" Spear shouted, he slowly got up, and felt a wavy dark aura wash around his body. "I SHALL MAKE YOUR DEATH CERTAIN HEDGEHOG!" Spear jumped into the air and induced a Spear Strike, three dark plasmatic spears homed in on the hedgehog, which he easily avoided, Spear followed it up with a Spear Spray. this time ten smaller and weaker plasma circulating spears attacked the hedgehog, sending him back and leaving marks on the pavement/sidewalk. Shadow used Chaos Control, and warped behind Spear which startled the silver hedgehog. Shadow made a chaos powered hand then punched Spear which forced him into the concrete. "Hahahahaha" Shadow laughed maniacally then hovered above Spear. "Say goodbye imposter!" he was going to punch his lights out but then someone stopped him- IT WAS ROUGE! "Rouge!" Shadow sounded angry but confused "Please don't, he doesn't deserve this" Rouge begged "Shadow please stand down...for me" Rouge had tears in the corners of her eyes. Shadow stood down then walked away. "Are you ok, tell me your name please" Rouge asked him his name "It's Spear...why did you save me?" Spear had a deep gash in his chest. He winced when he moved slightly. "I'll help you," she picked him up and took him back to Club Rouge.


Spear was lying on Rouge's queen-size satin bed. "Are you sure you'll be alright, I think you should stay here" Rouge insisted, she came in through the door, her house was above Club Rouge. She had a first aid kit in her hand, she put it on the side table and opened it, took out some cotton wool and dabbed the wound. "argh...yowch!" Spear winced as the ball of fluff touched the bloody cut. "Stay still it'll hurt but it'll be over" Rouge felt concerned for this hedgehog, Spear laid back, and untensed his muscles. After the wound was clear of blood, Rouge patched it with a bandage. "Now avoid battles and twisting, it will take at least 3 days to heal" Rouge told him "So just lay there and try and get some rest ok" with that she swiftly left the room for the hedgehog to sleep.

A few minutes later, a red echidna came up the stairs to Rouge's apartment/house above the club. "Hey Rouge! I'm back" the echidna called, he was red with a modified nike tick around his neck, he had points on his gloves and wore shoes which were grey, red and yellow. "Oh Knuckie you're back already?" Rouge teased him by saying Knuckie instead of Knux or Knuckles. "Hey I thought I said it's Knux or Knuckles!" he got hot-headed often and he was really gullible, countless times he'd been fooled by Eggman. "Oh Knuckles, I've got a patient in my bedroom, he took major damage, and was nearly killed by Shadow" Rouge informed Knuckles
"Shadow you say, wonder what happened" Knuckles took refuge on the couch and Rouge switched the TV on, they settled for watching Station Square News, the top story was a train crash at Central City "Hmm..hope no people got hurt or killed" Rouge prayed.

Spear woke up after a having an hour nap. He rubbed his eyes then attempted getting up, only to have a sharp pain jab his chest "I guess I'll have to stay here for the next 3 days" He lied back "I guess I can get some more sleep, can't remember the last time I actually had some shuteye" as if on cue, his eyes shut and he was once again in a dreamless state.

but yes, over time something happens and it does help in Spear's case. or Rouge's for that matter. I was thinking of having Shadow make Spear black out and punch his lights out but decided I should enact it there where Rouge saves him

Besides, even if it did, Sonic would be in AMERICA.
They ain't got Coronation Street in America.
