The journey of Mystico the Chao

Mystico cursed to himself as the sandstorm came closer and closer, it wasn't huge but enough to cause serious injury to a chao of his build and size. Mystico dove to the surface of the sand and hid in some of the decrepit ruins. "I should be safe here" He said to himself "I hope" Mystico's sweatband/bandana drooped. Mystico propped it up again so it didn't cover his eyes, he had to get across here fast, Mystico peered over and observed the sand storm, it seemed to be staying in one place, moving in a circular direction, not changing speed. Mystico decided to leg it across regardless if it would suddenly sense him, Mystico counted from three, and on zero dashed as fast as his legs could carry him, not very far actually. Mystico slowed down to a slow walk, when he heard a very fast wind, hoping it wasn't what he thought it was, turned his head around to find the giant sandstorm he hoped would stay. Mystico sweatdropped and made a dash for it, his legs turning into blurs, he was nearing the divide between the desert ruins and the ice plains. He was now speeding up hoping to elude the storm, in the end he just barely made it


The change from hot to cold hit Mystico fiercely as he went about walking across the Ice plains, which were indeed cold. Mystico shivered, why hadn't that chao given him a scarf or something "stupid chao" grumbled Mystico. He decided it was getting late so he had to find somewhere to rest for the night. Fortunately there was a quaint little cottage just over the hill, Mystico thanked them up above and sped to the cottage

Once there Mystico knocked on the door, a pink chao came to the door stunned someone would be in this weather "Can I help you?" she asked, Mystico already liked her
"Can...I stay...here a....while?" Mystico asked shivering
"You're cold!" she said concerned "Hey Tru, come here and help me with this chao, he's shivering"
"Coming!" a distant voice called, it came into view, a blue chao, with a dragon tail indentical to his, purple bear ears and the rest was normal "So what you doin' 'round this parts mate" It was male. Mystico could tell, and had certainly matured more than him.
"You shouldn't be 'ere, come in before you freeze," Mystico plodded inside where he met 4 more unique chao. One was black with red streak, which reminded him of Shadow. he wore cuffs around his hands and had a tiger tail. Another was a jewel chao, his tail was unicorn like and it had a horn on it's head. There was two more one was robotic, like omochao. Mystico shuddered at the thought. And it didn't have any animal attributes. But it was yellow with hints of gold and orange and the last was blood red, it was a chaos devil and had it's own little trident "Guys we've a new guest"
"Candy we don't need more guests" the black and red streaked chao replied "It makes it harder"
"Zen! I couldn't leave him in the cold!" the chao called Candy replied
"Hey you two, stop fighting!" the jewel chao butted in, "we aren't setting a good example," it got up from the fire and walked towards Mystico "The name's Jewel, the black and red one's Zen, Candy's the pink one, the robot is Mechanism, Mecha for short, Dread is the quiet one, chaos, don't get him angry, and the oldest here is TrueBlue, just say Tru to him, Ok?" the newly introduced chao explained, Mystico walked towards the fire and squeezed into a spot beside Dread and Mecha. Dread, the chaos chao grunted and budged over, Mystico just paid attention to the fire when, Candy plopped down beside him. Mystico felt happy, he had 6 hopeful friends which would help him.

Erm hoenstly there doesn't seem to be a major story here. i didn't think all six of them would be there. I expected them to be along the way like he meets one at one point and another one later. Also i reckon dread should be a bad guy. Jsut my opinion

yes you are. i wasn't saying don't have them i was jsut advising that for story purposes that having all the characters jpoined at once is a bit rubbish. There's no storlyine behiodnd why the others are there and no reason for being there. Also no real storyline at the moment.

Mystico, who was now warm, curled himself in a blanket Candy had given him, it was pink but Mystico didn't mind, it had hearts at the bottom. Mystico fell asleep fast. All the others apart from Zen and Jewel went to sleep around the outside away from the fire " He must go in the morning, it's too dangerous, he might be an enemy" Jewel said emotionless
"Yes, it's too risky, we have no information on him, and we don't know where he comes from, he could have been created for destroying and this place is all we have" Zen replied, yawning incoherently. "Well I'm gone, I suggest you sleep too, after all we aren't the strongest chao, we still need rest" Jewel practically ordered Zen to go to bed but Zen declined the offer. "I'm an insomniac Jewel, I'll fall asleep when I do" Zen lied, trying to make an excuse so he could leave when everyone was asleep. "I'm telling you to sleep, you of all people need it, and remember, Dread's an insomniac but he's sound asleep so I recommend you don't incur my wrath Zen or dire consequences will be met." Jewel said raising his voice gradually. "Fine, Fine." Zen pouted and clambered off to the darkest corner he could find so he could get away from Jewel "Jewel thinks he the best well Tru won't have it" The little black and red chao was now rubbing his hands together creating minor friction between them. He propped himself up against the wall, he yelped from the sudden coldness but got used to it. Zen shut his eyes and his mind took him in a dreamless state. Jewel took his jewel encrusted blanket and swept it over him, he was nearer the fire than the others, he wasn't scared if his blanky caught on fire, he knew what to do in an emergency. Jewel laid there his eyes fixated on the fire. It was like souls trying to escape, the fire was telling him something. Something like...no....it can't be...He had to continue with the shiny blue chao, the chao needed him to follow, Jewel bolted upright and tried to shrug it off but it was lodged in his mind, Why would the chao need him? was anyone else experiencing this? No it must only be him, his dad always told he was unique, special, the only one of him. Jewel chuckled and fell backwards from lack of sleep, but he was not the only one who was experiencing this 'nightmare'. Zen struggled and kept turning over in his sleep. Sweat poured down his tear-drop shaped head. You could hardly see the little beads of water, but it was there. Zen snapped his eyes open and looked around the room, he hadn't woken anyone else, Zen breathed sigh of relief. He saw the fire was bigger than normal, it was making signs, telling him in the morning that when the shiny blue chao goes, he must accompany him? Why would it tell him something unimportant, unless it was important. Zen slid down the wall and ended up on his back. His eyes went half-lidded then firmly shut, semi-consciousness had taken his body by storm.

It was 8:00 in the morning and almost everyone was awake, Mecha had been activated by Jewel who awoke earlier this morning, Dread was near the mini stove cooking what looked like bacon and eggs-chao style, and Tru who was sitting there impatiently waiting for Dread "Breakfast's here fakers!" Dread shouted as horrible as he could, everyone ignored his remark which annoyed Dread. Jewel was replaying last night in his mind, Mecha was swigging down some oil juice, and Tru was reluctantly enjoying his spoiled breakfast "When are you gonna learn how to cook Dread, this is rank!" Tru stuck his tongue out signaling how bad it was "Well maybe if there were cooking classes I would learn, it's not my fault we were stuck in the middle of nowhere, thanks to you Tru!" Dread shouted coldly.
"Well by.." Tru looked at his watch and then squinted " 2 hours and 3 minutes, I am older than you so," Tru stuck his tongue out, Tru was 18, and he was the oldest (These are not done by sa2 ages) Jewel was 17, Dread was also 18, Tru and Dread were twins gone down separate paths, Candy was 13 and Mecha in robotic years has been activated for 8 years, Zen was 16 and Mystico was 15. Mystico woke up to a singed smell of bacon and eggs, "What happened, did a bomb blow up in here?" Mystico questioned "Shut it, blue!" Dread sneered quickly
"OK just asking" Mystico put his hands up knowing what Dread was capable of "Don't explode!" Mystico got a small ceramic plate that was stacked and got himself some eggs, they didn't look as bad as the bacon. "Hey Mystico, when are you leaving here?" Jewel asked
"Today in a few hours why?" Mystico muttered while chewing a piece of burnt egg.
"Well I'm gonna go with you!" Jewel stood up after saying this "I don't know why but the fire last night told me to, I'll start packing" Jewel walked off, Zen woke up from the bold statement Jewel just gave, he rubbed his eyes cutely then walked over to the gathering of multicoloured chao. "Hey guys, can I just say, that when Shiny here leaves I'm going too, the fire told me I had to for some strange reason" Zen yawned and collapsed on a cushion. "You can't though, Jewel is already coming" Mystico sweat-dropped, who next would say Dread, no Dread would be mad if he said that. Jewel came back with a backpack on his back, it was black with Emeralds, Rubies and Sapphires all over it, musta been a rich chao. They gleamed brilliance. "We gone, oh wait let's say goodbye to the others," Jewel solemnly said goodbye to everyone when Zen said "Wait let me pack I'm comin too." He rushed and quickly came back witha blood red, crimson and ebony black rucksack, it looked heavy, well he was a modified Shadow chao, and Shadow is fast isn't he?

Zen was the last to exit the cosy cottage, the wind hit him and sent him flying back a few centimetres. Mystico and Jewel continued on from the building, never looking back. Zen wanted to but then hurried on, Jewel and Mystico were nearly out of sight. The shadow chao caught up with them in the end "Oh, can't we rest a bit more, I'm already tired" Zen whined
"A true hero braves on through the harshest of weather" Jewel replied solemnly still trudging through the thick blanket of frozen water. "If you want to become a true warrior Zen you must continue, anyway we cannot turn back, unless you're a wimp" Jewel had a smirk on his face when he said that last sentence, he knew Zen didn't like to be degraded. "Hey I'm no wimp!" Zen snapped back quickly "Prove it then, see if you can survive in this weather without chickening out and heading back, we have a long way to go Zen, I doubt you'll even go 1 mile!" The unicorn chao chuckled evilly, he was getting a kick out of this
"Hey you two, don't fight we need to stick together...or none of us will survive this onslaught of snow!" Mystico shouted back trying to make his voice heard of the roar of the wind. Jewel sped up to catch Mystico, so did Zen but kept behind them, why did he have to go along? Mystico made it to the top of a snowy hill "Hey Jewel pack any binoculars I need to see what that is in the distance" Mystico pointed to the yellow dot in the distance.
"Yes, one of the essentials" Jewel rummaged through until he found them, he handed them to Mystico who placed them in front of his eyes "Hmmm...looks like.......a robot...or an enemy" Mystico kept making suggestions for what it could be, he handed them back to Jewel "Well it's not a light or something spiritual that's for sure." He concluded
"So let's get it!" Zen imitated a fight, then got tripped up but Jewel, Zen landed face first in the snow "Slow down lil guy" Jewel sweatdropped. Mystico had already started walking down the hill, when Jewel realised he had left them he picked up Zen and hurried to catch up to Mystico "You two are too busy frolicing, we can't stop for fun, we have to continue, we still have 8 miles left guys" Mystico said in a leader's voice his eyes were fixated on the dot which was getting bigger by the second, almost like it was moving towards them

The yellow dot expanded rapidly, quickening it's speed. When it came into full view of the three unique chao. It was huge in height and it looked like the same robotic chao Mystico had fought in the highlands that time. The only differences were it had a new coat colour and different weapons including: Bazooka, rocket launcher and Infra red lazers which burn you into dust on contact, the three chao got into battle stance, but one question flew over their minds Who was controlling this machine?

I have no idea what to have at the end at the temple of Hyisha, if you have any ideas for what to have plz PM me or post here and plz comment on what's good and what's not good

Edit: and I'm not continuing until two other people apart from Blaze and Thou Hairy (lol) comment, it does get sickening...I don't mind who comments but plz do!

Ok I'll do another part, but then after this I'm not continuing. And you know what you need to do.


The screen came forward and Eggman appeared, walking until he was at the edge of the screen which served as a floor (the screen came down and Eggman walked on to it, understand now)
Mystico knew who he was but sadly the others didn't "Hey Mystico, you know this Egg shell?" Zen questioned
"Yes I do Zen, he was going to build a base in those highlands I passed before I met you" and with that said Mystico lunged at the chao robo, "Crystal Lance!" out of the blue from the sky, two medium sized lances made of crystal came coming down with impeccable force, they had jagged ends too. (ouch) Zen and Jewel just looked in awe as they saw the two things strike the chao robo, making a little aftershock. "Now, let's freeze you so you can't annoy us anymore!" Mystico smirked like a crazy man. "Crystal telekinesis!" Mystico clapped his hands together, his eyes burning with raw passion. The machine chao, now frozen and solidified, rocked back and forth, back, it was now teetering back Zen wanting some of the action poked the statue which sent it flying over. Jewel sweatdropped and then went all serious "Please" he said in an overly not impressed attitude.
"Well it worked didn't it, that says something" Zen defended himself. Mystico high-fived Zen and carried on, catching up to Jewel who was quite a distance away, "Hurry up you two clowns!" Jewel shouted back, his rucksack was slung over one shoulder now, "OOOOO, we're scared!" Mystico and Zen chorused together "Quick Zen hide from the jewel obssessed beast!" Mystico joked
"Ahhhh, it's gonna eat me!" Zen was now lying in th snow laughing his head off, Jewel smiled and a vein in his head popped, he grew larger and larger until he was towering over the two chao, Horns elongated from his head, jewel spikes thrust themselves out of his body front and back, claws on his hands and toes were sharp and pointed, his teeth jagged, his eyes red with pure hatred and a slit of black for his pupils, he was a deep sapphire blue. He raised his head, a massive roar tremoured from his mouth slightly shaking the earth. Mystico and Zen sweatdropped from the sight "Calm down Jewel, take a joke once in a while" Zen felt embarrased, he acted like Knuckles alright, hot-headed, gullible, can't take a joke type attitude and being almost serious all the time. Jewel shrinked down to his normal size and carried on, Zen and Mystico following in tow.
