Such nonsense! Tis the speakestings of comic book fanatics! Which... Yeah, it's pretty much the same type of conversation as when you left. Maturing with age? Pffft, who has time for that?
I guess I'll just go with whatever name I think of first, in said case of said namingness. Because I'm annoying like that.
But yeah, I can identify with said numb feelings - I think feeling numb is all part of being an adult? I dunno, it's weird. But I guess it helps sometimes, so yay?
But yeah, I'd say the forum helped all of us through our younger years. And our not-so-younger years, actually.
Anyhow, awesome news with Gyokii! It looks like it has plenty of potential, so go for it! Go all out! And stuff.

The weird thing is I've been feeling that too. I've been doing nothing for a year since there's no jobs going around and for a long time I just think what can I do so that when I'm an old man I can say that I didn't waste my life. I mean there's actors, singers and so on in their freaking 20s and even younger then me and they've done so much more then me.
Maybe I'm over-thinking things again but when I was younger I don't know I thought I'd have made something of myself by now. What I want doesn't seem so realistic anymore.

By this point... I just know in my heart there really is no going back. My sister is very sick - she has been for years now. She could barely work when she did, and as each day passed I saw even our customers coming up to her and asking if she was ok or not. She looked terrible. We do not know what ails her, either. But no doctor so far can tell us what she has. She's going to apply for disability, and we are going to run this shop.
We have no other choice. I HAVE to be there for her. So, this is what we have to do. And my mom and Danny are going to help us and we all are going to live together and take care of us. Our family.
When things get drastic, sometimes that changes everything... And what is success to you? Only you can answer that question. Success to me might be entirely different - it's helping my family in any way I can. I just want us to be happy, safe, and financially supported with little stress on them and myself as we can get. So this was an option I look forward to.
But your success and your dreams... I believe they are worth fighting for. :]

Shelley's ill? I'm sorry to hear that - It's good though that you're there to help her. Adulthood is weird and complicated, but I'm sure we'll all muddle through it somehow. And hey, cliche as it sounds, we all still have each other to rely on, sooo that's something.

I'm so confused. I have no idea what's going on.
One more question: Have I been exalted or have I always been a 'Dark Angel'?

Dark angel must be a new form of member rank. Neatos, dark angels were always badasses anyway.

Dark Angel was a dick to Buffy though and he was always trying to kill everyone like Giles' girlfriend.

I haven't watched BtVS in aaaaaages. Did anyone else feel like it ended prematurely? Or that the ending wasn't that good? I dunno, I mean, Joss Whedon is cool an' all, but I felt a little bit underwhelmed.
Also, Haunter, pplllleeeaaaassseee tell me you now have an Irish accent. I love the Irish accent so much and it would be so cool if you did. Say some somewhat stereotypical Irish things!

Well, if I had an Irish accent, I can't tell, since there's no English people here to compare it to. Nor could I demonstrate online, since accents don't tend to filter into text. Generally though, I think I still sound like the usual, all posh and stuff, buuuut I sometimes incorporate 'wee' as a term for little, just to fit in better whilst talking to Irish peeps.

Well I have the distinct impression you never leave your house, I bet Julian Assange has been out of his embassy longer then you've left your house Haunter.
In other news you know what is a nightmare? Trying to explain to a deluded Sony fanboy that Metal Gear Solid 5 being on the Xbox One is not a betrayal but captalism. I mean as Blaze pointed out to me years ago it's not even like Metal Gear is a Playstation exclusive, the first game was Metal Gear on a system released a few odd generations before Sony even had a Playstation division.

That's ok, Haunter.
It makes sense that you wouldn't know because... I have no idea. You end the sentence yourself.
Anyway. I don't know where Just Chat 3 went off to, so I'm going to make a Just Chat 4. Maybe we can get a little bit of order around here.

Maybe it's gone due to the insane amount of arguments we had there.

So many arguments. Good times!
Blarg, Valentine's Day is coming up. Is there any holiday more despised by nerds?

Nope, although I'd say there's plenty of lonely people out there who aren't nerds and therefore despise the holiday. I hate how it acts like if you're not in a place where you can celebrate it (as in on your own) then your a sad loser but just that one day, just one day where everyone who's in a relationship can go "Hey you can't get anyone to hook up with you loser!"
Thanks for that since all us people out there without someone in our lives really needed a reminder of how lonely our existence is.
